I originally ordered a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop with a base price of $499.00 and was billed for an Inspiron of a different model and much higher price, which I cancelled after seeing on-line purchase invoice and before delivery. I re-ordered and somehow the base price was still higher but because it was only $30 higher I didn't fuss. HOWEVER, the computer came with a 30 day warranty that said after 30 days, if I did not cancel, they will charge me. I received notice today that my credit card used to purchase will be charged .13 cents a day. I called and was on the phone for 50 minutes and gave up and simply cancelled my credit card and will receive a replacement. I was transferred for 50 minutes between customer service who referred me to tech and from tech to customer service, all while trying to understand the Indian accents. DO NOT BUY DELL. They are experts at prestidigitation! I plan to post this review on other sites as well.

I have a Inspiron 3793 I have emailed dell no less than 4 times with no response. This is the slowest and poor operating system I have ever had. I have an old HP that this was to replace but the ten year old hp still works better than this pitiful junk dell. I will not buy a dell for my next purchase.

Horrible service!!! Nothing but lies on their website! Ordered desktop on Dec 31,201, website stated "ready to ship item". Original delivery date after I placed my order was Jan 28,2022. I contacted Customer Service and they assured me that order will be expedited. Also reached out to CEO, Michal Dell and the Head of Canadian office - Pam Pelletier- my requests were completely ignoredšŸ¤¬ No accountability when it comes to Dell. I received an email on Jan 26,2022 stating that my order is delayed and the new "estimated" delivery date is Feb 23, 2022šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬ I waited almost one month to find out that my order will take another month to arrivešŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬ AVallely unacceptable!!! Avoid purchasing any products from Dell!!!!šŸ¤¬šŸ™šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬

After having my monitor break after a few months I was sent a replacement. Which promptly broke in about 2 weeks. The customer support is a complete joke and their products are unreliable. I would never buy from them again and they refuse to refund me. A company that makes 94 billion a year can't refund people. Rude customer support. Complete joke. My business will continue with apple products from now on.

I brought an XPS 15 9570 WITH the highest configuration, cost me almost 3,000, also I brought the highest warranty dell has calledā€Ž premium support plus, which expires 14th of March 2023, on the 10th of January 2022, my laptop has a blue screen, I called for help the tech said take your laptop to a local shop to your data, I asked how, I let someone take it a part to get to the hard drive , if anything happens, it will cause void my warranty, she said yes, so I asked what is my option, she said format your laptop, and install fresh windows, I said ok, she keeps telling me what to do, but the laptop keep coming with a blue screen, no way to do anything, at the end she said they will send a tech to my location to replace it, next day, I did not see anyone until 01/21/2022, I had been calling dell every day 2 time a day, I stay on the phone for almost 45 hours try to get someone to help me , all that I get from the supervisor is hope tomorrow someone call you from the tech filed and come to replace your hard drive , when I asked why dell did not honor the warranty sold to me , answer is buy mistake we canceled your case , but we open other one ,A week ago ,still waiting and calling dell no one give me an answer ,today I called the tech failed what all that delay, they email me back saying ,dell cancelled my 2 opening cases , I did call again asking to speak with supervisor ,they said ,NO, you wait until someone calling you, when, he said when the tech want so never ever again from dell

I had high hopes when I upgraded to a Dell laptop for school and work purposes. BIG MISTAKE!!! My $200 laptop from Target worked better than this computer ever did and lasted longer. This laptop will randomly shut down completely, but I thought nothing of it until there was a bitlocker screen put on it when I restarted my computer. After an entire week of trying to figure out the problem and find the passcode for it, there was no passcode to be found. When contacting Dell support service, they stated I would have to pay $99 for the support team to "try" to fix the issue. I ended up having to wipe out my computer and perform a manufacturer reboot. Now, when trying to download pictures and videos off of my phone to backup, the computer freezes and shuts down. I have only had this computer for a year, and I will never purchase a Dell computer ever again, I should have done better research and left Dell in the past.

Delay in order by 4 months and will still not confirm a delivery date. Customer service canā€™t do anything. Dells policies are total trash. If anything goes wrong with your order, donā€™t expect a satisfactory resolution.

I just realized that DELL provided my PayPal information used when I purchased a PC to Software Neutral holdings (Reimage) and they withdrew $ from my account for a subscription / Software I did not know about nor I had installed. Very disappointed on this DELL tactics. Good thing I noticed this scam

After 6 months my laptop wonā€™t turn on. Took a month to get a technician, to fix it. Was given a date and took that day off work only to be told sorry for the miss understanding but they gave me the wrong date. Had to take more time off work. He replaced the motherboard and a month later it will not turn on. They sent me a box to send it in to get repaired. However the shipping company is an hour drive away. Iā€™m again without a computer. I had to reschedule work meetings. They refuse to offer any compensation or fix the problem and will not provide me with a place to leave a review. I wish I would have done more research but thought Dell was a trusted brand. I couldnā€™t have been more wrong

If you use Epson printers as I have for many years, do not buy a Dell computer. They will not allow proper printer drivers and only their own are installed and downloaded Epson drivers are not recognised. Their version (Dell) is so basic that the customer interface does not allow multi function facilities, printer property adjustment or maintenance utilities. Customer service is non existent, apart from the amount of your time they will waste. It is nothing more than lip service. My Dell XPS is now going back to the retailer with a demand for a full refund as the product is not fit for purpose.

My Inspiron 7000 worked horribly from the beginning. It is now lost all internet connection capabilities and files reliant on One drive are inaccessible and likely to be lost. Almost 10 hours of support and now the fix is to wipe it clean and start over. Never again.

Dell had been my go to for 20 years. Last two desktop machines are last I'll ever buy. Always hanging up, apps not responding, slow to restart. Have they reverted to 286 technology? I do all the recommended maintenance including running Dells maintenance utility, updated to Windows 11, plenty of RAM.

When you have a hardware issue close to the end of your service contract, they will push it off until your contract is at an end. So if you have a thought of buying a Dell computer, buyer be warned.

I upgraded my Dell Inspiron 15 1500 to Windows 11. Come to find out after 3rd party software help, the software was not completely compatible with Windows 11 and you only have 10 days from the upgrade to be able to rollback to Windows 10 and I exceeded that timeframe. I needed to go back to Windows 10. Seems simple, right? Below is the feedback I gave Dell: "Ajay did a great job trying to help me. After exhausting all his options, he told me this had to be escalated to Technical Support and he said they would be with me in 2-3 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and continued on with my day. TS finally got back to me almost 4 hours later. I contacted Microsoft and they helped me reinstall Windows 10 Pro to original factory specs." Here was their reply: "Hello Mark, Good Day! As the system was shipped with Windows 10 Pro we can assist you with the installation and activation of Windows 10 Pro only. According to guidelines, we can only downgrade the system if it was shipped with Windows 10 which was upgraded to 11. We are glad to know the issue has been resolved and hence we will proceed further and archive the case for now. Thank you." Sushant Shivale Technical Support Supervisor Dell | Client Basic Support Then they sent me a proposal saying they will charge a $99 No Fix, No Fee guarantee. That was the icing on the cake. My reply: "You're welcome. Thank you for poor service. I will reiterate the below story on Dell's review. You wasted 5 hours of my time and didn't even fix my warrantied computer and now have the audacity to want to charge me $99? This will also be included in my review of Dell. What a bunch or Morons!"

Dell Customer Support (both telephone and chat) are woefully deficient. I called to ask a simple question, "What device can I buy to have installed on my Inspirion 3880 that will read/write for CD/DVD/Blue Ray." When I bought this unit three months ago, I was shocked that this function was deliberately left out of the PC. But, Geek Squad assured me that I could find a unit if I looked on the internet. I learned quickly that the info on the internet chat rooms wasn't always accurate so I went directly to Dell.com. When I called, getting through the computerized screening was a royal pain in the ass. When I was finally able to speak with a human being, I literally could NOT understand a single word he was saying and he was obviously in a hurry for some reason. The attempt was a complete failure. So, I went back to the chat function on the Dell website. That also was a total failure. Why? The so-called technician insisted I had to ask my question to one of their technicians when I called in. I shared my experience with him and the chat ended. Dell management has created a system of customer service support that appears to be competely dysfunctional.

Solid-state drive failed after two months. My repair was delayed by three weeks "due to unforeseen circumstances." When the part arrived, Dell switched out my failed 2 TB SSD for a 512 GB SSD. What a rip off.

I bought a Dell Inspiron 5406 2 in 1 laptop in September 2021. Since receiving it it was faulty, it didn't always turn on, various recovery screens came up, it said it didn't recognise devices etc. Then one day it started flashing various coloured screens. I took photos and video of all of this and had lengthy discussions with Technical Support who failed to resolve it and were very incompetent. I asked Dell to repair it as it had gone past 30 days and they kept saying they had arranged collection through UPS but no one ever collected it. This went on for weeks. Eventually it was collected in December and then returned with the motherboard having been replaced. Switch it on and every time I did so it was asking for the BitLocker 48 digit key. It would also not start up first time when I tried pressing the power key. I contacted Dell to ask for a full refund as they had failed to repair it. I got passed around for an hour only to be told a manager would call me back, of course this never happened more lies from Dell. They said they don't refund after 30 days at which point I said I believe they have to under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They said Dell don't do this but gave no explanation as to why they did not operate within consumer law. So, now left with a laptop which isn't fit for purpose, Ā£680 out of pocket and minefield in terms of trying to get my money back. I will however pursue all avenues as it is a lot to lose. Dell computers have always been good for me but would not recommend them to anyone now!
