I was at the grand junction co store I asked the attendant for a kitchen napkins there was only one I asked if I could order more and she told me that they were discontinued she was rude so I look on line to see if I could buy them and I went to customer service she gave me the same reaction as the attendant she was chatting with another employee and told me to order them on line it’s fine we have options but that is why some stores are closing so sad

My order is missing and I contacted customer service about the issue and they refused to give me a refund. I understand people lie about this but I am telling the truth about never receiving the item. It said it was delivered to the correct address but I didn’t get any proof of delivery or notification that it was delivered

Mark my words, Dillards will be the next store closing. I did not think that my son was given fair treatment when he exchanged a pair of jeans. I bought him a pair at dillards at the parks mall and when I asked him about his exchange he told me that he had to pay the difference because the jeans were no longer on sale. So I took the jeans today , right after he told me, and went up to dillards and spoke with I don't know who because when I asked to speak to a manager and they finally came, she didn't identify herself or give me a name or anything. She just said how can I help u. So I related what my son told me and she looked at the jeans he purchased yesterday with the one on the receipt and she said they were a different style altogether. They were not a different style just a different color. They were exact, except the color, and that is all they had on the rack. The supposed manager did not give me any options nor did the sales clerk tell my son any options. She could have at least offered to order the exact same pair of jeans so that way we could have done a proper exchange. It is evident that what the lady told me today, she just did not want to lose that money. I use to do exchanges elsewhere and I know how stores think. I won't go into all of it but since I could not get a fair exchange then I went to Walmart and got money from my account and gave the difference to my son. It was a little over $35.00. I will not go back to Dillards. I don't want any excuses replied back to this because I'm not going to look at the reviews any longer. Excuses only satisfy those who make them. What about taking care of the customer? Why would my son or me have to pay more for a pair of jeans just because they don't have the right color. The jeans were faulty to begin with, the zipper was broken. I can't help that the jeans were off sale now but I will say that that whole rack of jeans were on sale when I bought them. So in essence, I bought a pair of jeans on sale and that sale was not honored, after the fact. We didn't break the zipper. They should have honored the sale and let us have the different color, but same style jeans on sale. Not charge us extra because it was not an exact match. They were the same style, same brand name, but different color. It is not like he decided to buy a completely different brand of jeans. The jeans were faulty, I can't help that. Dillards didn't have anymore jeans that were EXACTly the same. They should offer to order the same jeans or Tell us what our options were before the transaction took place. The transaction that was done was not exchange but a return of the jeans and then ringing them up at the whole price. That is bad policy and bad business. Dillards is so cheap that they want to hold onto the money. All they want to do is give our their gift cards so they can hold onto the money. My son isn't mad but I am because I feel like he was cheated. When my son took the jeans back to Dillards yesterday, the sales lady called for a manager but she told my son that the manager would not come. It seemed like the sales lady wasn't too clear herself on how to do returns or exchanges based on what my son told me. This is genuine, u don't need an email address. Don't contact me on my email.

I love the lip color Black Honey but its formula is extremely drying. Is there any way the formula can be enriched? Other brands have lipcolors that are moisturizing but they aren't that color.

Your return policy is very clear on the website. Holiday gift returns will be honored until 1/11/25. I received a gift with the Dillards price tag on the item, but because it did not have a proof of purchase tag on it, I could not return it. 2 employees were rude and did not even offer any kind of solution. I feel because it was a Christmas item, they did not want to deal with it. I did not receive a gift receipt. This is something I will not use, so instead of issuing me store credit and encouraging me to buy something that day from your store and walking away with a positive experience, I left empty handed, a gift I will not use, and I walked out of Dillards not looking or buying a thing! I do not have a good reason to ever come and shop in this store again because your employees do not follow the return policy as stated on the website and overall did not give good customer service. When asked to speak to a manager, I was told that she would tell me the same thing, can not accept the return. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied.

Terrible for asking help at shoe department. The sales person cannot even give a little customer satisfaction for returning my defect sandal except returning it. AFTER: 1) I spending over $120 sandal. 2) Drove for two hours back n forth. 3) Dealing with online customer services to get a mail return label form so I don’t have to drive but that was wasted due to the item was purchased in store online due to no available my size 4) I was plan to wear it for my Christmas party coming up and now is ruin because the it’s not gonna deliver here on time. What a waste. My first time going to this mall and bad experience I encounter.

New Year’s Day sale 2025 is a joke. Went through women’s side and there was barely even one sale sign per section. Such a disappointment from what they used to do, I left with nothing!

I just want to ALERT everyone!!! My husband bought me the big bottle of J’adore for Christmas and I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at Dillard's. After purchasing a bottle of J’adore by Christian Dior, I discovered that it was defective and did not include a sprayer. When I attempted to exchange the bottle, the customer service managers made the outrageous claim that the bottle contained water with particles, rather than the actual perfume, and insinuated that I had stolen the original product. I was in tear, How dare you accuse me of stealing! I spoke with the store manager, and let him know I wanted to exchange the perfume or provide a refund, but ultimately stated that there was nothing he could do to assist me. I feel that Dillard's has handled this situation poorly and has made unfair accusations against me. My daughter went back to customer service with me and the associate said “why are you back? I already told you I’m done with you, we aren’t exchanging it?” In a rude tone. I hope that by sharing my experience, I can caution others to be aware of the potential for defective products and poor customer service at Dillard's. This is the Dillard in Hurst, North East Mall! I will never step another foot in there again! I always buy my perfume and colognes there. Never again!!!!!!!. Dillards need to be shut down for good the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I can’t quit crying for the humiliation how they made me feel in front of other customers. One more thing the sales person that sold my husband the perfume took 20 minutes to wrap this perfume what a coincidence instead of getting a perfume from the counter he went to the back and got one from there. Maybe the thief that’s scamming people works there.

Ordered a Dress for my son’s wedding and it arrived but did not fit. Sent an email and heard nothing from Dillard’s , asked for return authorization from them two additional times or the first 30 days and to my shock nothing from them. Reached out to the return address no response and on the following Monday to customer service. The young lady that I talked with had to wait for management to get out of a meeting to see if they would do anything. To my surprise nothing they could or would do. This is a company I would not recommend as they do not stand behind the product and their return process or lack there of is unbelievable. Please do not order from this company or if you do don’t expect anything back from them as their return department does not answer. No wonder they are going out of business as this is no way to run a respectable company or retain customers.

Recently bought a pair of sunglasses. They were defective, brought them back to the store for an exchange or to have them repaired. They do not stand behind merchandise

I removed the tags on a shirt. I bought i 2 days ago a d did not fit. It was 187.00. They refused to return it. I spend about 6 -7 k per year with Dillards. The clerk in Mens at the Laredo , Tx store literally smelled the shirt in front of me and got her manager. I was so freaking humiliated.

I will laugh when this company goes under. Based on their stocks, it won't be too much longer. They sent the wrong item, then tried to tell me I would have to pay for the return shipping. They don't accommodate for their screw-up. Then to top it off, they sent me a used item, and told me I was out of luck because it was used, and would not accept my return. They will miss out on my and my family's business. I have told them and they have no desire to go near a Dillards after hearing about my experience. Good luck, Dillards! You will deserve it when you eventually have to shut down all of tour stores!

I have been shopping at Dillards for most all of my clothes for over 20 years and I have spent thousands of dollars during that time. I just spent $444.14 on May 27, 2024. On Thursday July 18th the button popped off on a pair of capris jeans that I just bought. I had the receipt so I travelled to a local Dillards store and tried replacing or returning them. The customer service representative kept informing me that they could not accept the defective jeans because I did not have the original tags, they had been worn and washed. I did not accept that so she contacted a manager to speak with me. The manager basically stated the same information. I kept explaining to the manager that I would not be returning the jeans if the button did not pop off in less than 2 weeks of owning them. It did not matter. She recommended I contact the manufacturer but I should not have to do that. They should stand behind the products that they buy to sell to consumers. Especially since they are very expensive! So, I need everyone that reads this to really think about Dillards return policy, 1. They give you 30 days to return the item. 2. If within that 30 days you threw away the tags, worn or washed the item you cannot return that item. 3. EVEN if the item is defective, not due to your negligence just the item being defective, they still will not accept the return if the item does not have the tags, has been worn or washed. I did not cause the button to pop off, I was just buttoning up the jeans. I planned on keeping the jeans, I was forced to return them because the button could not be put back on. All I wanted was a replacement. I will NEVER EVER shop at any Dillards stores anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!! Their return policy is set up for their benefit not the customers. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! customer service!!!!

Return policy is trash. THEY made a mistake but wanted to keep my money so badly that they wouldn't help me by letting me trade for the right item while charging me shipping. Hope they enjoy the loss in business. I'll laugh when they go under.

This place is AMAZINGLY bad for all the wrong reasons. They never have people ready to assist you if you need help looking for items but they do have people walking around following you to see if you are going to shoplift. I had this man stand about ten feet back from where I was standing and looking for clothes for work. Maybe they think olive or tan looking skin people are are thieves. Ironically, there were Caucasian teenage girls stealing costume jewelry and accessories on my way out and I just thought to myself good, ya''l deserve this for stereotyping people. This has happened to me at the Houston Pealrland location and also at the San Antonio North Star. I am not even sure how they are still in business as they have terrible hours when they're open. There is nothing about this place that makes me want to shop from them I hope all their stores close down soon.
