Sent off a pair to be reglazed took 4 weeks to get back they arrived but no good sent back got email on 28th May telling me would receive with 3-5 working days after 5 days and many emails .I was told on 5June the order was sent out and would take 5 working days never known post take this long before . After 13th June I received a email telling me that it it had suddenly been returned back to them and they have now sent out again which I find so unbelievably so did a check on company house this company was dissolved trying to find out if I can get enough people so I can shut these rouges thieves down forever.

First couple of orders were ok but the moment there is a problem,they back track everything they say and then try to get even more money out of you. Even after completely clarifying everything with 'Emily' regarding my refund/exchange they are still trying to rip me off! They are useless. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS THIEVING COMPANY. I wish I never had as now I am trying to get a refund back which they said I could have but will not give me. They change their story to suit them. They are utter RUBBISH!

I finally received my glasses and an email stating that my money has been returned. I will be checking this later with my credit card company. So, 41 days later I have my lovely glasses back but without new lenses.

DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY - THIS COMPANY IS DISSOLVED. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK (OR YOUR GLASSES IF YOU SEND THEM FOR REGLAZING

Do not use I sent my £250 glasses to this company on 24 April and received confirmation on 27 April. After reading multiple appalling reviews I tried to ring the company - the number given does not exist. I emailed them and received a polite email from 'EMILY' - no surname given and written under a generic email address. On 28 May I finally cancelled the order after checking the company details on Companies House website. I checked with my credit card company who advise the money has not been returned - and neither have my glasses. If the money and glasses are not returned I will be contacting the police and Opticians Council as this person (yes - this is a sole trader) is not registered with them.

Glasses never arrived, customer service is utterly diabolical and I am now being forced to claim back my money through PayPal.

STAY AWAY! I ordered a pair of glasses, with a very basic perscription, it took 6 weeks with no reason for the delay so I cancelled my order. There is no contact phone number and the don't respond very well to any emails.

I ordered the lens service. Money taken immediately but total wait 11 weeks. And then the wrong description. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. And don't 'trust' certain reviews from other sites when you are 'piloting' the Internet.

Unbelievably bad. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I have ordered online with other companies and been happy. This crew don't even reply...the e-mail doesn't come up but refers you back to Google! No reply after five weeks and I paid £94.

Took a month for glasses to arrive that are massive and wrong prescription. I checked and doubled checked that I supplied correct details. No communication. Customer service rude. Only good thing is nice frames I will see if I can get anything done with them. Others have had OK experiences and the glasses are cheap so you take your chance but I will not be using again

Absolutely appalling service. Glasses direct is far superior, they deliver at lightening speed and their customer service is fantastic. I'll stick with what I know if good next time.

Awful company. I paid them to reglaze a pair of expensive glasses. They absolutely mangled them. I sent them back three times after the said they would fix them and in the end they lost them and refused to cover the cost.

I went to the opticians my vision felt blerry at times, After showing the glasses i was told that both lenses had the same prescription. i thought it may have been my mistake but after checking turned out they were at fault.

Delivered 'new' glasses which were obviously second hand or returns. poor customer service, rude staff and misleading terms.

I had to chase this otherwise I expect I nothing would have been done. > Technical issues with their phone lines is taking months to resolve so it’s impossible to call them on 0203 053 6190 you just get a message saying engineers are working as fast as possible to restore the phones. This is a complete lie, the phones have been down for 4 months! > Wrong frames were provided I ordered CP183 but received CP182 > The quality of the frames and lenses I received is very poor > Metal hinges are both tarnished, one hinge is bent and as a result is very stiff. With a slight touch the left lens pops out of the frame at the top. The left lens has a small scratch on the inside near the hinge > Free returns (apparently no longer offered) is clearly stated on the web site but is now replaced with a non-binding promise to refund postage in an email. I wont be using Direct Sight again.

1 starHELP NEEDED URENTLY! Hello, I Purchased a pair of glasses. Unfortunately they sent me the completely wrong lenses. In order to return the glasses they made me pay for recorded postage which they promised they would pay me back for. Unfortunately it has been over a month since they have received the returned glasses, and I am still yet to receive my money back. They are also not responding to any of my emails. Please help, am I able to contact the police or have I just been a victim of Fraud, with nothing I can do about it. Please could someone give me advice. It would be greatly appreciated, as I am desperate to get my money back

Agree with other reviewers that they are a real bunch of liars. Very angry at having wasted so much time (7 weeks!!!) waiting for them to send an order. When they sailed majestically past the deadline I emailed a critical note asking when they would be delivered & they immediately cancelled the order! Still haven't received the refund though - funny how payments go straight away & refunds take a week! so angry with these liars, words cannot do it justice. Would advise anyone to avoid like the plague.
