Garbage company,paid premiums for 7 years & never needed them,cooker went last friday,got an appointment 2 weeks from now!!!!!! Cancelled cover.I gave them 1 star because I can't give them less.Do yourself a favour,DON'T take out cover with them

ooking at all these bad reviews of this company , I'm not even gonna bother write what we been through with them for 1 week. cooker went faulty that came delivered another one which they suppose to fit and take the old one back. they didn't fit the new one neither they took the old cooker back swell when we paid them for this service. when spoke on the phone the customer service girl Elizabeth, did not even wanted to help just asked us to give the card details where she can refund the money so that no one is available to come back again to fit the cooker. now i have one faulty cooker and one new one lying in my 10 by 10 kitchen, couldn't cook meal for over a week. i have 4 children and have to buy meal from out for last 10 days. Domestic & general you are just a waste of time. please everyone please avoid them.

Never insured your anything with them ,they are scammers .They tell you different when you buy policey and when you Claim it’s different.Thier team is very rude when you claim for something and they try their best not to do anything for you,not fix or neither replace

im resading all these reviews and im pretty shocked at off of those bad experiences. 10 years ive been a customer, and never had a problem that they never arrived or were so late, or didnt know what they were doing, always excellent customer service over the phone, always had an appointment day or two later. the only thing i would say, is that ive had my washing machine covered for 10 years, its been repaired about 6 times, its an old machine, and they should give a new one now, as this is what m policy includes. I get that they will continue to repair if its possible but the machine is just a faulty model and the amount of years ive had the washer and what i paid for the policy in total, i would have brought about 3 brand new ones. :)

Absolute awful service from the start. No one rings you back as agreed. You have to chase the repair up your self with multiple agencies ie manufacturer, D&G, the local repair company that has the job passed to them. Parts not avaliable and no date can be given. Spent hours on the phone trying to sort my oven out. After 22 days with no oven i threw the towel in and purchased a new oven myself. Will never use their service again.

I am astonished how poor these people are, I paid them more than £350 for one visit followed by £28 per month for ongoing cover, called them 6 months later and they said "we are not coming out again as your flue is loose" I explained it wasn't loose until you came, then they refused to visit my property but continued taking my money! I said I wanted to complain and they said we won't talk to you anymore contact the Ombudsman, I tried to do this but they are not even signed up to that scheme! These people are scammers do not sign up to them its one big rip off! It must be illegal what they do.

It's been come to.a month with out my over and still not repaired they came to to see my oven twice once to assess it then repair it but brought the wring parts and after that not heard from them I've called you on a few occasionsand nothings been done yet and everything falls over the weekend so that's other week gone every time I don't know why I pay for a guarantee with you if you cant sort it out

Terrible customer service, cannot send spare parts while I am at work, or wont do anything to help with sending parts. Keep going round in circles with hotpoint and D&G and not getting anywhere. Such a SIMPLE request for a small part and cant help . paying for a rubbish customer service.

My refrigerator broke yesterday, Wednesday and they are sending someone to repair it next week. Possibly tuesday. I am absolutely disgusted. We told them we are shielded and can't go out to buy new food. We told them we have medication in the fridge. They are useless.

Have been with these jokers for several years, it's easy when they are collecting the monthly payments When I initially booked a engineer to attend to mend fridge freezer they sent out a fool who stated that the fridge freezer is broken this is why I requested you to call out not to tell me what I already knew, No communication from any of you I had to chase, was told that you would call me back to keep me informed this has never happened Second engineer appointment still no working fridge freezer (now into week 3) he arrived 2 hours later than time slot given, this engineer stated he had to wait for his colleague who would be mending the fridge freezer a few minutes later he changed his tune to he's wrote it off and someone would be in touch it beggars belief that they can blatantly lie to your face without any repercussions I got a text message following day spoke with online Celeste was no help had to phone instead this lady has stated I need to take out another warranty for the replacement fridge freezer I asked about the automatic 1 year guarantee that you automatically get when buying white goods she went into her speech it's clear they are desperate for your money I was informed Indesit would be in touch never happened had to phone them to chase, was told earliest appointment I can have for them to collect free of charge written off fridge freezer and deliver new fridge freezer is another week away this is going into 4th week without a fridge or freezer They are not bothered about delivering good quality customer service they just want to squeeze more money from you I have had food that has been ruined and gone in bin but they are not interested, they will waste your time by forcing you the paying customer to constantly chase them up I am not on your payroll yet I am doing what your lazy employees should have been doing from the start Adele from Resolution department why did you phone me this morning only to disconnect the call it's clear that you cannot communicate with other departments as you would of known this replacement would be yet another week before delivery but you are interested in this

Shocking. They are taking money under false pretences. In the midst of lockdown my fridge broke down in May. 3 engineers later and 2 different parts, fridge still not working a month later. Told assessor would call me back... they didn't. Eventually got to talk to assessor... 10 minutes of waffling later told me they had to have 3 different companies try to fix it before considering alternative action (what the hell is that). Said he would call me back... actually said 'not sure when that will be'. Crazy, over the years I've paid in over £1,100. I didn't cancel it as I was told in writing if the fridge/freezer breakdown and couldn't be repaired quickly, they would replace it. Nothing about numerous company jengar. Fuming.

I have had money taken from my account by D & G. I have never knowingly taken a policy out with them. I received a letter in March to renew my policy told them didn't want it. Started taking money from my account in May!!! How have they got my bank details. Have asked then again today to cancel and refund monies taken.

Appliance was condemned, engineer returned with parts from another male/model. Months of repair appointments, engineer not even gone 2hours & appliance breaks down, burning smell & part inflamed ...took over 24hours to get through to resolution department ....taking it further ....risking customers safety to save a few quid! Absolute waste of money on insurance policy

Really poor customer service. Typical insurance company who pull out every trick in the book in order to avoid paying out on a claim. Please take caution before taking a policy and read further reviews.

I took out the policy for 4 items and I was told I would get a replacement if items could t be repaired . An engineer came out to repair my washing machine and after his visit it continued to have a different problem . This was into the same week as the visit . Another man came and said it needed parts and he would order them . I never heard back for two weeks and when I called them they said they can’t repair it , part of no longer available and because it was a problem on first visit I had to buy myself a new machine . I explained that someone had been out to repair the leaks etc but it continues to still had a fault . I will be taking it further as they tell you information that isn’t true when they say they will replace it if can’t repair . I may when go to the guardian again as I noticed already been complaints about this company . I wii be cancelling the policy . Be carful you could waste money and not get replacement

Be more helpful especially when your customers have paid a lot of money for three yrs & more it’s ok for ur company to take our money but not to pay the customer back when making a claim not happy at all

A dreadful experience and complete waste of money. After 7 years of premiums my dishwasher broke down. It was declared irreparable and I would be supplied with a replacement. Without any information or advice delivery was arranged. This was left on my doorstep today. They refused to deinstall or remove the old one as they wouldn’t come in even though I had paid for it. The final straw was refusing to fit the new one. The replacement was not of equal specifications either. Customer service and the resolution team were very very unhelpful. I’m disgusted by the way they have misinformed me and feel this is a classic case of miss selling. I’ve cancelled all my 3 policies having paid out a huge amount of money for a worthless service. I do not recommend buying their policies and suggest you put a few £ s a month away to cover your replacements or repairs. Grrrr

Garbage service, need a minus star rating , reported washing machine problem , engineer comes out a week later , drum needs replacing, engineer left saying another engineer would come with the part , new engineer turns up this morning...hey guess what...no part on his van ...so why come !!!!!! and he has no idea why, in fact he was totally clueless ...worst service ever , do not use these as they are absolutely useless .....now on the phone for over an hour trying to find out why this has happened. Rubbish, garbage, useless , hopeless !!!!!!!!

Not even worth one star! The worst company that I have ever dealt with. The recorded telephone message take you round in circles. The Online booking system rarely works and the whole system is a shambles, STAY Clear!
