When the dishwasher was written off by the engineer it then took 5 weeks to get the replacement dishwasher. Hoover cancelled the delivery 4 times stating they hadn't been given the correct address, or they couldn't find the address. When the order was put through they delivered in 2 days and found the address 1st time

My appliance wasn’t repaired was told that they would book another appointment and come and repair my appliance but I’ve not heard anything

Easy to book a repair, first gentleman came out got washer working again albeit for 10 minutes once he left had to quickly ring again as kitchen got flooded again, thankfully gentleman came back and new part had to be ordered. Another gentleman came to fit the new part stayed whilst i put washer on and thankfully no more floods or broken washer. Would highly recommend Domestic & General, they are efficient and kept updated from beginning to end.

I would like to give zero Stars. This is the absolute worst warranty company ever known for appliances. They are always putting you off. Always have to order parts. Come replace that part that part's broke down this and that they were supposed to replace your washer dryer after so many times of fixing it. But yet, how can you? How many times can you service a 3-year-old washer and dryer?

A tech came out July to fix my stove however he said he had to order a part as of today Aug 25th My stove has been sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor since July and I’ve called this company almost every week without getting any help I’ve been paying my warranty every month and this is how they treat me I haven’t been able to cook a meal for my 6 year old since July

I’ve been a D&G customer for over 3 years with 10+ appliances insured. When my washing machine broke on August 15, I had to spend £60 at the laundrette — and will need to do it again due to delays. I spoke to a representative named Nadeem who was incredibly rude, interrupted me constantly, refused to log a complaint, and showed no care for my financial or health situation. Luckily, I later spoke to Charlene Slindile Mabaso who completely turned the experience around. She listened, was respectful, and actually tried to help. Charlene is the only reason I didn’t cancel all my policies with D&G that day. I’m now waiting for a proper response and compensation. If not, I will be switching providers. Disappointed in D&G overall — they need more staff like Charlene. Adil Khan

I would like to give no stars to this company.I am absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated.My fridge freezer was not working and D and G arranged to send a workman to my home.I sat waiting all morning,tracking where he was and when tracking shown he had 2 more visits before mine,he actually stated he was at my door and no answer.I have a bell on the front door and if he had rang the bell,he would appear on a camera inside.He never rang my bell.I rang his number that he left for me and he never picked the phone up.I rang D and G and they rang him and again he never picked the phone up but D and G left him a message to call back to me...he never.I then had an engineer come out one whole week later on 1st August,and was told it will be 11th August before the appliance could be repaired.That would have been 3 weeks since I reported the issue,with all my food and milk going bad,in the middle of summer.The recorded message when you first ring asks you to let the call handler know if you have any health issues.I told them several times that I need to store medication in the fridge and they promised to send me out a mini fridge which never came.I was so disgusted with the service and the attitude of some of the staff that I spoke to,that I cancelled my fridge freezer policy and also my washing machine and shower and I purchased a new fridge freezer.D and G have now written to me offering me twelve pounds compensation.They know where they can put that.It cost me more than twelve pounds telephoning them.I am totally disgusted and appalled that they are quick to take your payments,but in this case,they just did not care.I would never ever recommend this company to anyone.
