It's really difficult to actually receive the package sent with them. If possible, use some other service.

Paid to have a One day delivery. I received a "we miss you" e mail even of that didn't try the delivery. I was at home al day, no calling card was left. When I called to have explanation they said that there was an error in the system, the driver never attempted yet and later during the day he Will be delivering my parcel for sure. No one try to deliver anything that day. The next day a different driver delivered a box for me, I was waiting for 2 items from the same shop, in my parcel there was Just 1 of the 2. After a lot of calls, holding, telling the problem to a lot of people I eventually foind out that dpd for some reason didn't accepted the 2 item and they sent It back to the vendor. After I paid for 2 items delivered in 1 day I received 1 item delivered in 2 days. No reason of that was given, I just paid for nothing and still waiting ti have my second item delivered.

DPD emailed me at 06.37 Tues 11 Jan to expect a parcel 07.38-08.38 Tues 11 Jan. NO DELIVERY ATTEMPT WAS MADE. I've checked our CCTV as well. DPD also failed to deliver on Mon 10 Jan to the pick up shop. I have arranged a third delivery attempt on 12 Jan. Whilst I do appreciate DPD have delivery problems some times. I do not appreciate that when their parcels are tracked they show DELIVERY REFUSED 'when the failing is DPD'S. I will of course be notifying the sender of this and if you continue to fail delivery demand of them a refund.

Waiting for delivery then check the tracking and they've sent it back to source without any correspondence! Absolute shocking company! twice in recent weeks! There's a contact number there for a reason!!!

What went wrong? DPD employees a bunch or criminals. My driver was supposed to be delivering my new phone instead he came with an open empty box. The worst is that he took pictures of himself holding the opened box

1. Parcel due Weds between 6 and 7pm. I'm in and check the tracker -delivery van is 15 mins away. 20 mins later I get a text with a black photo (not my front door, the light was on behind the glass panel and the outside light was on). Apparently neither I nor any of my neighbours were in. Funny that, I never heard the door bell ring or a knock at the door, but I did hear my neighbours. 2. Thursday 8.45 am. Another missed delivery. Strange because, once again, I never heard the doorbell or a knock at the door.... I decide to get it delivered to my local post office, a nice big building they shouldn't be able to miss. Due on Saturday. 3. Saturday - delivery postponed to Monday. 4. Monday. I finally speak to someone at DPD who assures me that the parcel will be delivered today to the post office. 6pm I get a text with a photo of a closed post office. The driver only went to the wrong post office. Must be really hard to check the postcode and find the right road. Why on earth do companies still use DPD? They have proven themselves to be incompetent on so many occasions. I haven't received my parcel yet but I am looking forward to speaking to someone at the depot and telling them that their driver went to the wrong post office yesterday and where the hell is my parcel?!

Why don’t large company’s read these reviews and stop using this joke of a company. I ordered a mattress for my son and was assured it would be delivered Saturday morning. On the strength of this my son took his old mattress to the tip.No mattress arrived just had a photo of the wrong street.Assured it would be delivered on Sunday. He stayed in all day nothing.Phoned three times on Monday said I would get a call from the local Exeter branch again nothing Now I have received a text stating that I have requested a change of date to Tuesday which is a complete lie. In the meantime my son has to spend every night on the sofa . PLEASE PLEASE will large companies stop using DPD

They lied and said I was not home when they did not even try to deliver the parcel! Paid premium delivery and been sat in all day and nobody even tried to buzz my door and yet i checked and intercom working fine and also i can see and hear when people drive up so been watching out window for driver and about 15 mins before End of delvery slot, they marked as i was not at home which is a complete lie. Dpd and pets at home customer service shuts at 6 and he knew that and 15 past 6 he marked me as not home knowing i couldn't do anything. Also app says 24/7 customer service and then says shuts at 6pm. Utter bull of a company! I have anxiety and agoraphobia and now have to somehow arrange cat food at almost 7.30pm on a Saturday because she has none and we feed her a special diet which is why I can't buy from normal retailers so use pets at home and now have to buy her stuff that will affect her health and am having severe on off panic attacks thanks to dpd and lazy liar driver Stewart (William)! Angry and appalled is an understatement!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!! Now I am out of pocket to buy more cat food and the 3.95 I paid for premium delivery!

I ordered a new iPhone 13 Mini from John Lewis just before Christmas 2021. At that time I was unaware that John Lewis retain DPD as its main shipping delivery service. DPD notified me on three occasions that my iPhone 13 was 'out for delivery today' but failed to deliver on all three occasions. Instead, I received three DPD notifications informing me that 'due to unforeseen circumstances they were unable to deliver your parcel today.' - DPD did notify me of a fourth delivery date but I wasn't prepared to experience another failed delivery so I cancelled my order with John Lewis and purchased my iPhone 13 Mini from Argos. I'm an avid online shopper and I have now commenced asking vendors which courier they use for delivery and discriminating against those online vendors who use DPD - It is time customers were able to chose from a list of three courier services on checkout. That's the only way you will ever get these nonchalant incompetents to improve their dreadful service(s).

Beyond shocking, said they left parcel with Mr Smith next door, my lovely neighbour is Sikh and from the Punjab, his name is definitely not Smith and there's a photo online of the parcel being left outside.......customer services deleted the photo (confirmed by nike that DPD deleted the picture) thankfully nike kindly reimbursed me. DPD are a truely shocking company. I had another delivery today from them and i pulled up at the same time as the delivery man, he wanted a photo of my front door open (unlike last delivery man) I got out of car and made my way to open door, he told me could I hurry Up as he is busy......er not really mate, I'm clearly disabled. DPD need to sort out their drivers and customer services ASAP

I have had issues with DPD deliveries 4 times over the Christmas period. Once on Christmas eve when I paid for the next day delivery of a special Christmas car for my new wife. He said he had tried to deliver but the bell never rang. Secondly, when I was waiting on some drinks/favours for our wedding. Again, the same problem, pretending they attempted to deliver. Thirdly, a present for a friend's birthday. Again, pretended a delivery but no bell rang. 'Tried again' the next day but again, no bell rang. We have tested our bell the day before this delivery and know it is working DPD are the worst delivery service I have experienced and would not recommend them.

Faked their sorry we missed you with a random black blurry photo. I watched 3 individual drivers drive past and not even look my way. Dylan, Cameron and Jordan feel ashamed. Seems like they are doing it to everyone. I have a disability so can’t go get my wheelchair from their miles away drop off point which wasn’t the one I asked for. You disgust me.

We were in all morning before during and after the one hour time slot. Then an email saying we weren't in!! Didn't even ring the doorbell or attempt a delivery! Customer service worse than useless. I'm disabled and needed home delivery. Now it's being sent miles away to a pick up point. How am I supposed to get there??? Im never ordering from any company that uses dpd as a delivery company.

Been a week trying to receive a parcel... keep getting a picture of front door saying sorry missed you ... your driver $%£^$ wont be back today. Twice rearranged delivery to a neighbour who is always in! Contacting is very difficult ... No parcel... no idea when arriving, seems to be going between depot and house and back again... very carbon neutral service! I will be actively telling friends / family NOT to use the service ...

I placed an order and paid extra to have it delivered on the 31'st. I stood by the door the whole morning only to check my email and see that the driver ,,attempted" delivery but I wasn't home so it will be delivered 2 days later. The picture of the door that your driver put on the app as ,,evidence" is not even mine nor nowhere near my address. So your drivers are taking random door pictures, skipping deliveries and posting those pictures to get out of their work. This is absolutely not acceptable and a terrible experience. Your DEPO called saying that the driver refuses to come back and there's nothing more to be done. So I paid money to ensure delivery, your employee didn't feel in the mood to deliver the paid service that specific day and the response is though luck. Update: The second ,,attempt" on Sunday, it happened again. Your driver pulled up in front of my building, went in the back of the van, after 2 minutes came out empty handed and went back into the car and drove away. When my timeslot expired he set the status as having missed me at home and put up a random picture of a different house. I have it all on video this time because I was sure this was going to happen again and of course, IT DID! I have requested a full refund for my order, no longer interested in waiting around for your employees. I will never buy again from a company that uses you to deliver.

Waited in all day for delivery. Followed the dpd app to see where driver was. When I was drop 49 of 51 got a notification I was not in and missed my delivery. Then a photo of my front door. Paid extra to have it delivered today. I rang dpd straight away which were not any help. Said couldn't contact driver and would have to rearrange. I paid for this specific day because its the only day was in due to work commitments. Really frustrating as sat waiting for the delivery and no knock at the door.
