We had a parcel being delivered via sky mobile , dpd gave us a time then they messaged saying they missed us , it's not good enough

There is something really wrong with the system that this delivery company has in place in Edinburgh. The managers who sit in their warm positions for 15-20 years must go. Whose idea from DPD is to send a slot in the same day of the delivery? Do you think that the receivers will take a day off to wait for the slot to be announced and then to wait for the delivery itself? If you want to announce a slot do it the day before. Do you do the slot system for the convenience of your drivers or for the convenience of your customers? I took time off yesterday - 14th Nov and waited for THE SLOT at 12:37. The slot was for 18:44-19:44. I broke my legs to come back to the house to meet your driver Michael. Not only Michael didn’t turn up at the SLOT, but nothing happen till 21:44, when finally an update was sent - “not delivering today”. Thank you Michael for the 4 hours you made me wait. Today, 15th Nov another delivery is expected, but I cannot waste a second day in a row with your random slots, only helpful for your drivers. Also, this company has disabled their phones. You can only listen to automatic nonsense or chat to bots. I chatted to Chirag and I am still not sure if he was a human or a bot. He was just copying and pasting the same sentences with no interest in the issue. Same thing with Daniel from the WhatsApp chat - he copies and pastes the same automated text and no personal try to help at all. I was supposed to receive my expensive parcel on 14th Nov. Tomorrow is 16th Nov and I have to request another time off from work to meet and match with you, unorganised DPD, Edinburgh depot. Chirag, Michael the driver and WhatsApp Daniel - put some personal interest in the problems the customers experience. Your service is below 0.

Package 1 - delivered to what looked to be a pile of rubbish- signature was marked shed. Not our shed, or any neighbour’s. Not recognised by anyone on village whatsapp. Luckily sender sent another one Package 2 - message came through before delivery window saying driver had missed me. I had been at home - no sign of van in road. Picture of a difference road shown in tracking system. Furthermore - the complaints / contact signposting is designed to be obfuscating and reduce contacts - you need to search for and go into the actual complaints policy to find it. It seems to me that they don’t have enough reliable drivers - or enough customer agents to process issues. Ps - in this reviews interface there are extra questions about who made the delivery and when. You need options for ‘nobody’ and ‘they didn’t’.

This is slavery work. I was working at Dudley port on shift work 10pm-7:30am. I was working on the conveyor belts moving HEAVY boxes. The work is SOLID, you don’t stop work for even 1 minute. 9 hours is solid graft for small money. Shift managers think we are robots, and shout FASTER FASTER FASTER. Discusting to think you can treat workers like this just because we are not English.

I wish I can give zero mark. It’s horrible experience that I have. I stay at home for all day to wait for the parcel. The driver Osman didn’t horn or knock the door or call me to let me know he is outside. Then he took the photo that not even in the correct door and show on my app. It’s so stupid, that door even you can’t get in. I try to contact customer service, they use very rude attitude to speak with me and they said I should contact dos local, but my parcel is international parcel and I get the notification from dpd, why I need to contact dpd local? Then they cut off my line twice, if you don’t want to deal with problems then why you work in customer service department? I am sorry to be mean but their service just rubbish.

DPD utterly useless company Urgent medical supplies were supposed to be delivered today, but all the driver (James according to tracking) couldn't be bothered to get out of his van, so just took a picture of the side of the road beside my house. The whole family were in today, no call, no card was left. The AI chat bot is a waste of time, as if the van has stopped near the property that apparently is good enough not to deliver. You can't talk to a human to complain Very very poor service Very Very poor company

The worst service company in UK. I live in Clacton, they say 'we miss you', tracking the parcel there is the attempted delivery location in Chelmsford. Yes, probably they missed me.

Please cancel DPD they are only making money of us without a good service. I stood my pregnant wife outside because I was at work yesterday waiting for them to show up but they dint and there was no picture all it says on the tracking was missed delivery attempt . Rang them up just immediately and I was told the drivers coordinate location dint even show up at my address. They don't care even if you are dying lol all they want is the money trust me . I'll rate them zero if I can with no star

I never thought you could get worse than parcel force. DPD have managed to to it. zero commmunicaton all auto response text.impossible to actually track an item.really really bad firm avoid not worth the risk or the time wasting.

Didn't ring doorbell, didn't knock on door, took photo of building and left. The next day the same, but just a photo of a random car as proof of attempt. Absolute scandal. They can see it's a package from EE so probably trying to 'lose' it as a high value item

Yesterday (friday) i Waited in for a delivery to get the classic "we tried to deliver your parcel but you weren't home we retry on monday!" there was no attempt to deliver my parcel to my address which I can prove with cctv. . This happens all the time with dpd it's the only delivery company we have problems with. All because they employ Lazy drivers who just can't be bothered. I did manage to speak to someone on the phone, she tried to contact the driver but no answer! She rearranged my delivery for today with specific instructions so we shall see if it actually arrives this time.

Made no attempt to deliver. No call, no doorbell, no card by the door. Took a picture of the building from the street as "proof" of the "attempted delivery". Timings don't make sense either: 11:45 - email & text to tell me delivery window: 13:00-14:00 12:45 - email: Sorry we missed you. This is also displayed on DPD's tracking website, but there it has a timestamp of "13:15" - which is still in the future at this point. 13:20 - by now I've checked for a card by the door, and now I check the tracking website again to find a picture of the building from the street When you complain to DPD they "confirm that the driver's GPS location was at the delivery address at the time delivery was attempted" - Useless, I know they were here, the problem is that being here was all that they did, what they didn't do was attempt a delivery. They mess you around, give you a specific one hour time period on a specific day. Every part of their system and communication presents this as an accurate and realistic delivery window. In reality it is not, you might as well ignore the time slot, ignore the delivery date, just be available to potentially accept the delivery all day every day until you eventually receive your delivery. That reality is not terrible, it's worse than the false image of their service that they present, but it's not that awful. What is awful, is the fact that they lie about the timings and lie about a delivery being attempted. They keep lying at every step to maintain a false image of their service quality. None of this is the driver's fault by the way. It's the DPD company's policies and systems that cause these issues, and the blame is with the people at high levels in DPD's organisation who have the power to change those policies and systems, but keep them like this.

I paid extra for early delivery but courier never bothered to ring doorbell despite number being on the package, I live in a 3rd floor apartment so if they knocked the main door there was no was I could hear it. Package was returned for refund so now I have to order it again. Useless.

Twice I've had parcels delivered by DPD and twice the parcel was not delivered on the date that was meant to because no one was at home, despite of having instructions on where the safe place to be left was. The first one was a plant and was delivered 5 days late, during the summer with hot days. The driver totally ignored the instructions. And I'm still waiting for the second parcel, because, of course, the driver ignored again the instructions and did not delivered it

Absolutely disgusting company. Was waiting for a delivery from Currys by dpd yesterday. I was given a time slot of between 14.30 and 15.30pm so waited at the window to keep look out. The van duly arrived drove to the back of our building (hmmm) got out of the van, walked to the back of the van (did nothing) got back into the van, drove to the front, took a photo of the outside of our building, and just drove off. Tried everything to contact dpd without success. Don't know why Currys use them.

We are a DPD account holder, customer support is non-existent. They have lost a large number of our consignments by shipping them to an address in Fife rather than London, contacted our "account manager", also customer support team, completed the full escalations process, also notified the CEO, and NO ONE has even bothered to have the decency of responding. Quite possibly the worst service I've ever received as a paying customer, we will definitely be looking for an alternative courier and would not recommend any other business that needs to ship parcels that they use DPD, so so poor.

Meant to be delivering my medicine 3 deliveries in a row. I am a security cleared high earning individual and stayed at home for three days at great expense waiting my medicine. Didn't come. Drivers obviously think it's ok to just not deliver the parcel. That's their only job isn't it?.... Now forced to buy black market medicine at great risk to myself and career all because some idiot driver couldn't be bothered to do their job.
