“Worst courier I have dealt with. They treat the person getting the delivery with complete contempt. When you complain to customer services they say we have no contact with you and can deliver when we want and miss delivery slots and you have no rights. On my delivery day early in the morning I received an email saying they tried to deliver but I was not in. They even attached a photo of a random door as proof! When I contacted saying it’s not my door and I had taken time off work they said the driver has until 8 that evening to deliver and I should wait in. I did and no one came. I contacted them again and was 48th in line to speak to someone. I waited and they said the local depot will call within an hour and arrange delivery, no one called. I called again and arranged another day off work to wait in. Again they did not turn up. 3 weeks later still no parcel, so I told seller I was going to get else where. I did then a few days later out of the blue a DPD driver appeared and said oh was you waiting for this? I asked to return it, he said only the sender can authorise a return. So then I had to arrange to send it back. I took 3 days off work. I spent hour chasing. It’s not worth it. I have asked DPD never to deliver or accept deliveries for my address. They are a dishonest company with systematic processes to cover up their failings.”

“The worst currier I have ever had to deal with. Twice I had to take day off work for delivery, never on time and the second time they didn't even come to the adress and said I wasn't available. I would avoid them at any cost. Scammers for sure.”

“The WORST courier company out there Left a message on the app to leave my parcels in a safe place, by my front door, inside the block. Ignored it, took a photo of the security door No effort to ring the trades bell, which alerts all 9 flats, didn't try a neighbour. Item now returned to the supplier DREADFUL. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE.”

“Yesterday I placed an order yesterday and paid almost £8 for next day delivery. According to the supplier DPD have had the parcel today and it hasn’t arrived. The tracking information was also wrong all day and now it’s saying it’s due tomorrow totally unreliable service!”

“I left clear instructions for the parcel, containing a laptop, to be left with a neighbour if I wasn't in. The parcel was delivered and a photo of it sitting outside the front door, for the world to see, was sent to me. Fortunately the neighbours saw it around 30 minutes later and took it inside. Had issues with DPD before. I don't understand why people can't follow simple instructions. Complaints a waste of time, just told they'd pass it on (who to??) and sincerely apologise. It's pathetic”

“DPD is one of the worst delivery companies in the UK and unfortuantely still one that loads of companies use for online orders. They are not even trying to deliver the parcels and then they mark it up as unable to get through even though you were at home waiting for the delivery. The complaints procedure is a joke, with no real difference whatsoever, I think I complained about 4 times and gave super clear instructions for my property and the same issue repeats over and over again”

“Awful service, already one week since I confirmed my order and this company still don't pick it up from the sender. At the same time my second package was "rejected by me" (this is what they told me in the contact center) but nobody contact me and my call doesn't change anything. From now on I just cancel my orders if I see that they will be delivered with DPD, it's just a waste of time”

“❌ DO NOT USE DPD!! 0 STARS ❌ What an absolute joke of a company! I have been waiting urgently on my phone for 3 days, as I can’t access any bank accounts and late for payments since I was scammed. Have stressed this to Dpd for three consecutive days and each day I get an email at 6pm saying it’s back at depot and they can’t do anything because the shops ‘closed’? I was then assured by an agent yesterday that the parcel will be delivered today by 11am, low and behold I then get an email at 11 saying that the parcel couldn’t be delivered to a drop off point and has gone back to depot and it won’t be delivered till Monday now. I even said to the agent yesterday can you change the delivery to my house instead and she then assured it would be delivered to the collection point? If it can’t delivered there why did they not just change it as I had requested. I’ve used the chat multiple times and you get the same automated answer each time. Don’t have a clue what’s gone on with DPD but will never use them again in the future.”

“The driver whent to wrong address when he rang and i tried to explain this he became very rude swering and saying im not getting my parcel i then whent on to dpd chat service the person i spoke to said my address was incomplete and was only a postcode not street name when my full correct address is written on website so obvs a lie so tried ringing the woman on the phone had no customer service at all would not give me a email or way to make official complaint and that she has to do it for me then hung up phone absolutly terrible company appalling customer service the drivers are very rude ignorant and incompetent would trust them to deliver anything ever.”

“Disgusting service !!!! Had a message to say where did I want it left if I wasn’t in so Replied to the message to say leave it by the front door. But I was actually in between designated time and the van drove right past and I then had a message to say they tried to deliver but no one was in!! The driver is an absolute liar !! It’s not the first time this has happened You cannot get hold of anyone to complain.”

“SMS received to say parcel on way, the SMS for a Delay, then SMS out for delivery… finally get a delivered notification SMS at 20:39. Parcel not delivered. Checked DPD website tracking which says parcel delivered to CUSTOMER at 21:59. So DPD time travelling delivery driver then?”

“I had a parcel coming from india to Birmingham. Delivery person delivered the parcel outside the house to someone else and they didn't even try calling my number and sent me message with my name that i have received my parcel. I think government should take some steps to shut down this company. As i had some valuables in the parcel and freight parcel itself cost me around 85£ + valuables. DPD don't care about the parcels as they take huge charges. Made a call to DPD and they said they can not do anything as it is already delivered.”
