“Did not bother to attempt to deliver parcel, but tracking stated they had tried and would have to be rearranged. Through to a chat bot to try and get the driver to attempt to redeliver. Could not arrange to collect and no assurances it will arrive or be attempted to be delivered next time. Could not leave negative feedback on the driver. Awful service.”

“Do not use this carrier if you can possibly avoid it. In fact, if you are thinking of ordering something and they are the carrier - don’t. I waited in for four days for delivery of a heavy item due 10th December. Didn’t arrive - said it was coming 13th didn’t arrive. By this time, i could wait in no longer so cancelled item with seller and received refund. Then said it was coming on 17th - rang DPD and told them i did not want item and they reassured me it would not come. Now it is Christmas Eve. Bit like the fable of animals talking the night before Christmas, suddenly DPD has the power to text me. They say this parcel should arrive today. So, I should be out but i have had to cancel because i cannot risk them delivering to a neighbour. So here I am miserable again waiting for a parcel which may or may not come because DPD don’t care about customers at all. So avoid avoid avoid”

“This company shouldn’t exist! I waited my parcel in front of the door during the window delivery time and got the text “we missed you today as no one was in”… without even seing the driver Diego Emanuel Costa or the vehicle on my road. One star is already a huge compliment for such a bunch of incapable people!”

“Constantly lying about attempted deliveries. You know as soon as you get the 'we're running a little late' message it ain't coming. At least pick a house that doesn't have cctv. I dred it when a company says we've despatched your parcel by DPD”

“EXCUSES - the DPD driver Mr Bbavesh made excuses he could not find the address while I have had 10 deliveries since morning at this address. Stay away from DPD, Mr Bbavesh also ignored my phone calls and was not willing to listen to anything I say. Worst delivery company ever. I went out specially to find him but once again ignored the calls.”

“The worst courier EVER! Was at home working when my parcel was due to be delivered and no sign of them but suddenly I receive a ‘sorry we missed you e-mail’ strange as my ring doorbell hadn’t recorded a DPD van near at all that day. Then I’m told it has been dropped off at a collection point with a round trip of 20 miles! Customer Services useless! Eventually contacted my supplier who very kindly re-sent the parcel … via Royal Mail. Use anyone else but DPD!”

“Muhammad the driver called us, we gave instructions and he said okay. Then after few minutes delivery was cancelled. Inconsiderate, doesn't communicate. Just cancels your order without telling you. I spoke to Sagar from their service but it seems like he is not eager to help as well and want us to pay £499 for VIP service. Worst experience ever. Hopeless service.”

“DPD driver stood in street and took a picture of the communal door then drove off without even pressing my buzzer, 2nd "attempt" he never even bothered even turning up, haven't had 3rd attempt but I'm not holding my breath they are by far the absolute worst delivery company in UK which is sad really as they used to be the absolute best”

“The WORST delivery company out there. They've failed to deliver a parcel x3 days in a row now AND on the 3rd day I was waiting outside my front door during the hour timeslot I was given. No one even attempted a delivery on my street and then I get a 'Sorry our driver missed you' email. Phone staff are awful, cant actually help with anything just say 'I'm Sorry about that.' When in reality, they don't care at all and have 0 power to actually rectify anything other than apparently contacting the depot. Which clearly does NOTHING. Honestly, I have no idea how they're still operational. I don't have a problem with any other delivery service, Amazon, Royal Mail, Evri, Yodel etc the ONLY issues I have is with DPD. I can emphasise enough how awful they are. Delivering packaged isn't even a hard thing to get right, but they seem to royally mess it up every time. Would NEVER recommend them.”

“Multiple problems with DPD this Christmas. Safe place ignored and parcels thrown outside with no cover and ruined by rain. Claims no one home etc. it seems to be a running theme judging by these reviews. Will avoid sellers who use DPD”

“Absolute trash. When you're home, they say you weren't and bring it to some random location. Even if you specify a pickup station for delivery, they still send it to some other random location on the other side of the city. Absolute trash.”

“I live in a village and they never deliver always say you were not at home or couldn't find the address. Absolute lie as they have delivered before and I have been in and they didn't appear. Terrible service amazon and royal mail delivered on time no problems ever I will not purchase drop sellers who use dpd.”

“Dreadful service - waited in all day/night for delivery on 16th December 2024. Had a message to say parcel had been left in front porch - My property does not have a porch & why did the driver not knock. Parcel was no where to be found. The photo taking was just a black square no help at all. I have a full refund from the Sender in process. DO NOT USE DPD for any sort of delivery. Hope the driver (Muhammod) njoys the Tunis Cake that was meant for my family.”

“DPD missed their scheduled delivery slot for my parcel and didn’t come anywhere near my address, instead they sent a photo of a motorway layby as a record of an attempted delivery. My delivery was automatically rescheduled the following day and again their driver didn’t even attempt delivery, just claimed that nobody was home when in fact our security cameras show no record of any delivery attempt either at our property entrance or at our front door. This means I now have to go and collect my time sensitive parcel at my own expense in terms of time that I don’t have, at a collection point, 3 days later from the original delivery date. This is the third time we have had this experience with DPD - all other couriers seem to have no problem with delivering to us. Additionally there is absolutely zero customer service nor any way to get in touch with someone to ask for help with the process or to register a complaint. Terrible company - avoid at all costs.”
