Terrible company, a DPD driver parked on my neighbours disabled parking bay which is illegal to do and stayed there for two hours and the audacity of the driver to then have a go at my neighbour because they parked in front of the van and he said he was there for 20 mins. Yeah right I was standing out of my own garden waiting for my neighbour for a hour and the van was already there.

I was due a delivery today via DPD & my husband was in, working from home, but the driver didn't ring the doorbell, therefore my husband didn't hear him knock. We have the video on the ring doorbell - he came down the drive, knocked & immediately walked away again, went the the van, closed the door & then got back in the van and drove off! Why not ring the doorbell??!! Terrible service!

Was in all day for a delivery from Dpd for the driver to take a picture of my door and to then NOT RING MY BELL. So no delivery even though I was here waiting for it. All I got as others have said is sorry we missed you and we will be back on Tuesday as yes its the bank holiday. Customer service rubbish. Wouldn't do anything as the picture was taken. Yeah at a distance mind you from the seat of his van. Delivery guy was Ranjeet from Southall depot. Customer service useless Do they not realise that the drivers are well aware they need some proof of attempting delivery. Haha. This deliberately done as I had spoken to Dpd in the morning and had my time changed so Ranjeet deliberately didn't deliver as a punishment. Joke joke joke. Well Ranjeet your rubbish and don't ever come to my home again to deliver. Disgusting Service. Southall depo you need to speak with your driver Ranjeet as this is absolutely unacceptable.

Sender ordered pickup on August 18th. Package arrived today August 26th. Lots of conversations with DPD. A variety of excuses including suggesting I call a 3rd party Parcel company, the Senders address was wrong - it wasn’t. Just a complete lack of any accountability. No one prepared to take ownership of the issue and see it through. Each call ended with “just keep checking the site” “someone will be in contact “ “sorry about that”.

waited in for 2 days running for my packages both days they put on that they tried and no reply and put up 2 different picture of my so called front door so cancel order and then it came the third day so sent it back as i bought from so where else

The delivery was promised three times but never arrived. Eventually, the supplier, not DPD, contacted us to say that our parcel had been returned to them because the DPD delivery person couldn’t find our house. So there you have it: a delivery service that can’t deliver.

Sent to wrong address refused to give address were they sent it just dropped it in a wheelbin (medical supplies) we were desperate for refused to help

Very rude driver and that’s just a polite way to describe him. A complete ar**hole is far more appropriate. Delivers my parcel, says something very quickly (probably about taking a picture). I ask him to repeat what he said and he storms off with my parcel with an attitude as if I offended him somehow. He said “you don’t want me to take a picture of the parcel” I said “please do” but no. He preferred acting like a three year old and be mad. He probably enjoyed being rude as well.

I have today waited in for the THIRD TIME waiting for a delivery. Despite getting texts on app saying driver with you shortly. Or you werent in. I was in. No one rang bell or phoned. Just now I went down to van in street, he said he didn`t have my delivery on board. I have called DPD to complain 3 times and each time - it will be delivered tomorrow, it never comes. I cannot get through to anyone at IKEA. I`m furious, and angry. DPD - why lie to your customers? What do I do now? I see I`m not the only one, looking at all the other complaints below. Shocking. Why you in business.

given a delivery slot and then after the due time the website tracking informed that the ‘driver is running a little late’. The web site sp doesn’t give any indication of when the delivery will now happen. 3 hours later, still waiting.

The Driver Ahmed from the Dagenham branch of DPD lies he tells you a time slot and then does not bother to turn up. Then he lies and says that he has tried to deliver your parcel but he has not as he is supposed to leave a card, which of course he can't have done as he has not been to your address. If you want a reliable company, use Royal Mail at least you know you will get your goods when they say they will deliver.

Another bad experience of DPD. I’m starting to call them DOA 😂 after a spellcheck quite poignantly corrected it for me.. Awful service.. driver actually ignored me as I asked him to leave it on doorstep as every other delivery company does. He walked off as I was saying please leave the parcel 😱 Today another DOD delivery and another guy same attitude was banging with his mobile and my knocker and letterbox so many times as I was saying please leave. Just decided to kick in my gate and drop the parcel in back garden after banging on gate and disturbing neighbours

Like other uses. I have waited in to be advised they attempted delivery and missed us. I was outside the front and no DPD van drove past let alone came. Today waited in for a mobile phone, to be told they couldn’t find the address. Again, outside no DPD van drove past. Now I have to cancel my phone otherwise it would leave me without a phone for a few weeks due to a trip. Why are they lying?

Worse delivery service about. Drivers lie, say they attempt to deliver parcel, yet CCTV shows they haven't. This has happened on many occasions. Cardiff depo lies, when I contact them they say the driver is on way back yet never do, you pay alot of money for a service you don't get, even customer service is also a waste of space. I don't recommend this company service to anyone.

Booked a pick-up and received confirmation. Driver didn’t arrive. Re-booked and received another confirmation. Driver didn’t arrive. ‘Chatted’ to on-line ‘help’ - they are clueless. And don’t bother trying to phone them - life’s too short. To cut out the stress - use a different courier. AVOID THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE INCAPABLE. ‘Minus five stars’ - is too good for them

Failed to collect an important large parcel. I was on the doorstep but had to check that the parcel (very expensive) equipment was going to the right place. I'm phoning my boss to check as my boss answers the DPD courier guys say' You are wasting my time' then walks away! He was at my dorstep for less than 2 minutes before leaving without the parcel which was in my house. He posted that the parcel was not redy for collection and drove off.

I was supposed to receive a parcel today between 11:21 and 12:21. The driver showed up at 11:27. The delivery was an exchange. We were about to do the swap, when the driver suddenly told me that he could not deliver my parcel, because he was supposed to proceed to his "number 11" delivery, while I was "number 27". The driver claimed he had to do the deliveries in the right order. On my phone, the app said that he was currently at delivery number 24 (and not 11, as he claimed). I insisted and asked him if he was really sure he could not deliver to parcel (and take mine in exchange), and he confirmed that he could not. The driver then told me that he would be back in half an hour. Yet the app said that the driver was on a tight schedule and would not be coming back today. Here attached is a picture of the driver with his package and me with my exchange item, just before he refused to deliver the parcel. I have contacted DPD and they said that the driver indeed was not supposed to come back. If I did not have the picture, the driver could easily claim that he came and no one was there. Why he did that remains a mystery to me and is extermely frustrating as I stayed home today and cancelled other appointments just for this delivery.

I always rated DPD as one of the better couriers but a recent 'attempted' delivery has changed my mind. Delivery due 16.8.22 and I received their usual email with a 1 hr time slot. I then received an email with a photo of someone's house, not mine, saying they had attempted delivery and would try again the following day. I used the DPD chat line to advise that I'd been notified of an 'attempted' delivery but they really couldn't care less that the driver had lied - just advised it would be delivered the following day. Judging from a lot of the other reviews you can probably guess the final outcome...Email received the following day with 1 hr time slot; stupid pink flamingo showing on DPD's tracking map as a handful of stops away...then a message stating driver running late...then a message stating driver had attempted delivery. My message to driver Ilian (Iliyan) working from the Maidstone depot - you lied... you didn't attempt delivery on either day. Thanks a bunch DPD/Ilian, my parcel has now been returned to sender after '2 failed delivery attempts' which never happened!

My parcel was originally supposed to be delivered on Wednesday 10/08/22, I didn't receive it as it was sent to the wrong address, I called they apologized and was meant to be then sent on Thursday and they sent email to confirm this, I yet still didn't receive it and I called again and they sincerely apologized once again & was confirmed for my parcel to be delivered on Friday, and again on Friday I still didn't receive anything and they said sorry on Monday, I still didn’t receive anything on Monday, at this point they make me crazy and make my blood pressure very high. I spoke to them again on the same day and I said to them, you cannot keep lying and they sent a email and confirmed through the phone as well that if they fail to send it by DPD on 16/08/22 we going to use City sprint and yet again nothing happened. Now it is Wednesday and I called and they said someone will call me back from Southall depot but they did nothing
