Yet again delivery driver ‘could not find address’ Last time I spent over 10 mins on the phone giving directions…just don’t buy products from companies who use them

Terrible service indeed. Not only I did not receive my parcel, but they even told me the driver attempted to contact me twice. That is not true. A day at home wasted because of their incompetence.

They said they tried to deliver my parcel? I was in all day? Nothing put through my letter box to.aay they tried to deliver. Phoned customer service and they say they will try again tomorrow but can't say when and will not leave with a neighbour? What a joke!!!

If I could have given zero stars I would the delivery driver “Danny” drove past my house twice while I sat waiting for the large heavy parcel he was supposed to deliver to be delivered then received a text saying “sorry we missed you” I especially waited in and this was blatently negligent of the driver he then delivered my heavy parcel to a local Morrisons I couldn’t collect it as I am disabled! I had to ring DPD three times to try sort this out and ended up having to pay a friend to go and drive and collect it as petrol is now so expensive! I would never use Pets at Home again nor DpD and Danny needs to be trained on how to deliver parcels not just drive past the house with a clearly marked number on the door and a person stood up waiting to receive the parcel!

Shame i cant give zero rating - lazy drivers who cant be bothered to deliver, instead take photos and drive off.....we have a gate system to our property and a clears sign that says Honk your horn; obvs these drivers cant read either - whats the point in paying for first class delivery when your goods remain in transit -

I dropped off my parcel on Monday March 7th. The DPD driver arrived in the shop but he did not collect my parcel although it was ready for collection. It remained in the shop for 3 days. It was taken to the main hub where it stayed for another 4 days. The guaranteed delivery was meant to be March the 11th. But on Sunday at the hub it was now March 13th. I received a text asking me to insure my parcel every day including Sunday. I am disappointed in such a poor service. I am anxious that they are trying to intimidate me by suggestioning that they may loose or damage my parcel if I do not take out their insurance.

Worst delivery company I have ever seen....management couldn’t run a bath let alone a business. They ask you to tell them a neighbour to deliver too or a safe place but their drivers are too stupid to read the instructions...

Had a delivery that was slated for Friday with an email confirmation only to be told that the package would be delivered on Monday and if I wanted to get the package sooner I had to pay extra to get it on the Saturday. Live chat is useless as it is a bot that responds to pre determined questions only.

I have bought an expensive item, and chose the next day delivery. DPD emailed me with a confirmation of the next day delivery. I was waiting at home all day - for DPD driver to show up with my parcel. DPD without any explanation (or notification) - never showed up. Using tracking number on their website - the delivery date changed to tomorrow. So instead of paying for next day delivery - I will not be receiving my item next day! Please dont waste your money on DPD next day delivery service. As this service is a scam, you will get your item in 2 days at best. DPD just hit the new low. Stay away and use a different courier.

I must be one of the lucky ones, every DPD delivery has been given to me within the hour time slot specified, I get a 30 min warning from the app and also that I am next. Drivers take a photo of parcel inside my front door which they are supposed to do

DPD drivers are organised groups of iPhone thieves!!! NEVER EVER trust DPD drivers, especially for the Apple products delivery. I ordered an iphone 13 from the Apple store and was expecting a delivery from DPD. DPD drivers did not even ring the bell or call my phone and claimed I missed the delivery twice. These drivers just took a picture of the main entrance of my flat and uploaded as 'evidence'. For the third delivery attempt, I selected a local DPD pick up store and when I collected the parcel, my iphone was missing and there was a perfume instead. I reported to Apple immediately and it seemed quite obvious that either 1st or 2nd delivery guy stole my iphone but DPD refused to take any responsibility and investigation. There was a sign of opening the top bit of (brown) package when I first collected it and moreover, the new delivery seal stated that the weight of the package is 0g but the first seal was 300g. All I hear from DPD is that they won't do anything for this and I just have to report to Apple and wait for their response. How unprofessional and irresponsible it is. And it seems like it's a common thing that DPD drivers steal the Apple package. Please do not ever ever use DPD, just pick up directly from the Apple store.

Should be no stars. Several times this company claim to have delivered with no one at home when they haven't knocked on door, when they do deliver several times they've left parcels on drive way and not bothered to reach door. Drivers are always rude too. This particular time a birthday surprise has been ruined as driver didn't attempt delivery so took parcel to post office within 3hrs of agreed time for delivery then DPD would not allow me, the sender to collect it as it's not my name on parcel and promptly told me after keeping me on hold for 20 mins that there was nothing they could do. From now I'll check which courier a company uses before ordering.

DPD never has the right or full address. If you pay for special delivery they won’t refund you your money if they don’t deliver your parcel. Daylight robbery.

The fact that there is no way to get in touch with the driver is shocking. Yesterday I missed the delivery and they were supposed to deliver again this morning and I just got the message that the parcel was refused as the contact name wasn't recognised. There is no option to call or message the driver and he didn't try to contact me either. I called customer service and the woman told me that the first line of address was missing, so the driver probably wanted to deliver it to someone else. I asked her how is that even possible when the driver was at my house just the day before and he even took a picture that I missed the delivery! Then she told me that someone will get in touch with me in an hour, which means the driver will already be at the other side of the city. This is all very stressful especially when the parcel is very expensive. DPD, you need to get this sorted.

I spent the best part of a morning trying to get a parcel sent, the web site is shockingly poor ! I filled in the details sender address, recipient address etc then clicked on the link to find a drop off point local to me, upon returning to the original page all details I had filled in the forms had gone. Foolishly I persisted, and the delivery was booked / paid for, within a few seconds an email confirmation was received, complete with half a delivery address ! This didn't inspire confidence and so half an hour was wasted on live chat with DPD to try and find out why the address was incomplete (incidentally a prerequisite for messaging is a DPD order number THE SITE DID NOT LIKE THE ONE IT HAD GIVEN MY ORDER !) I took my parcel to the drop off point (a Homebase store) but the staff could not process the order, apparently it needed a bar code and they have no means to add one even though that is the procedure required as outlined on the web page and on the print out with the QR code that you are asked to take to the drop off point ! I left the store and before leaving the car park, I reached for my mobile, cancelled my order and requested a refund ! To compound my annoyance, the cheeky bastards say they will have to review my right to a refund, well let them review I paid by Paypal so the money will be refunded. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THESE CLOWNS !

If I could, I'd give DPD zero stars because the service is terrible. I was expecting a parcel (15976865201533P) which I waited in for. The parcel was supposed to be delivered between 11.00 and 12.00. At 11.45, a text was received in which DPD lied and claimed that nobody was in to complete the delivery. This is totally false and a lie on behalf of DPD. I have been in all morning and waited, looking out of the window, waiting for the delivery. I would never send a parcel by DPD and I would urge everyone never to use DPD.

I agree with other reviewers. Liars. Send a message when you have paid an extra charge for a specific time slot and waited in for delivery and they then send a text to say they couldn’t deliver when in fact they have not even tried. This can be proved too. Not only do we have a Ringo we also have a camera and no one has even attempted to deliver, just a text sent to say they have. Would love to see the picture where they say they have tried to deliver. Unbelievable. Now we know why Amazon has the great reputation they do and deservedly so.
