I wish 0 stars was an option! Yet again, let down by DPD, perishable goods having to be returned to sender due to their inability to make deliveries on correct dates. This is the 2nd time this has happened to us in a month with two different deliveries from two different senders.

I got a message that i had missed my parcel there was no one at the house but i was sitting at the window since morning and during the 1hr time slot i actually went outside.No one came near the flats.Its annoying having to go at the post office to collect the parcel.I dont know where the driver went yet the address was there?

If I could give DPD zero stars, I would. Literally everything that could go wrong with a delivery went wrong with their incompetent service. First, they didn't even bother to ring the bell when delivering my parcel and just claimed no one was home, which is a blatant lie because everyone was at home. Just admit that your driver didn’t ring the bell. Then, instead of leaving the parcel in a secure location or making a second attempt, they decided to return it to my original address—an address I had already moved out of! I contacted DPD via live chat, and after explaining the situation, they assured me the address had been updated and the parcel would be sent to my friend's place within the same city. I thought the problem was resolved, only to receive a text from my old reception while I was on a plane, saying that I had parcels waiting for me there. Unbelievable. DPD is absolutely useless, and I’ll never trust them with a delivery again. Avoid this company at all costs.

We haven't received our parcel yet and the rubbish excuses I have been given, from, 1 : driver couldn't find our address, 2 : didn't have our phone number., 3 : unable to contact driver, even following day. 4 : day wasted waiting in and not even contacted to say no delivery. Excuses don't wash. Following day told by another assistant, parcel is lost, sender has to raise issue. No help to me.. At least one assistant told the truth.

Terrible service from DPD. On three separate occasions parcels were to be collected from my home address and on all three occasions I had a message informing me that there was nothing to collect. On the third attempt to collect my parcels I watched the driver from my window slow down pass my house and take a picture of my house from his driver seat. He never stopped he never got out of his van and he didn’t knock at my door. I have to keep rearranging for the parcels to be collected making me look like I am at fault. This morning after rearranging for the parcels to be picked I again watched from my bedroom window and the same thing happened, driver slowed down took a picture and drove on pass. I then went out and waited for him to come back and had to wave him down. He assured me that he knocked. He was very unhelpful saying that he would be back this afternoons (did he think I was an idiot as if he was going to come back- I don’t think so) I stood my ground an insisted that he took the parcels, he was not very happy because he had already informed the depot that there was nothing to be collected. These drivers are taking us for fools. Do Not Use DPD.

Their collection service is a mess. The same driver attended 3 days in a row and didn't ring my bell. I think he drives by and takes photos for ‘sorry we missed you’ was home on all occasions

Absolutely awful. After wasting 3 days I never received my item even after requesting to leave my item in safe place. DPD could learn from Amazon and Evri how to run delivery services.

Totally incompetent time wasters. I am so angry with this useless company. I have wasted so much time waiting for drivers to arrive at a certain time and then they never show. The tracking is useless. Avoid at all costs.

I have been waiting in all day for a delivery that will now be delivered at my selected pick-up point (if I'm not in). I have the DPD app, the last time I checked it said delivery would delivery in half an hour. Twenty minutes later looking at it, and it appears that now I have to pick it up with ID at selected pick-up point. Chat on DPD app useless - explained nil photo to evidence driver hadn't been here, nor was the door bell rung. Had to ask customer care several times on how to make a complaint - and it turns out it has to be through the seller that paid DPD for their services. Unable to actually talk to anyone or have the driver actually deliver the parcel to my home! Very frustrating. Terrible service. I wouldn't have minded if I hadn't wasted a couple of hours sitting in my flat waiting for the delivery, for which, it turns out, there was no point! I hope that that DPD management/customer care read this/their feedback and make a decision to improve customer care/their service.

The drivers are lying to your face and refusing to deliver the parcels. The company set up a geolocalisation system to check that the drivers are delivering the parcels. This is an opportunity to trick the system for the drivers: - they are in the vicinity but don't ring/attempt delivery - it's impossible for the customer to complain as the geolocalisation system says the driver was around. It happened to me for the second time this summer. Today I was home, waiting for my delivery, i got a "missed delivery" SMS, so i immediately came down, saw the DPD truck and saw my parcel with my name and address on the back of the truck. The driver didn't identify with the name on the SMS and refused to talk to me because i was in the street. I gave him, my name, address, showed the SMS, he refused to talk to me and left with my parcel. Last time, i got 2 missed deliveries while i was home and had to deliver to a pick up store. This time i'm not waiting for the second delivery as i know he won't ring either. The geolocalisation system creates a very frustrating experience for the user as they can't notify when the driver is lying (they also post a random picture) and an opportunity for the drivers to save time by skipping deliveries.

Edward could not be bothered to leave my parcel in my safe place and claimed to have missed the delivery twice. I even paid £5 for a Saturday delivery which never happened and I was home all day. I called and complained but even the customer service was appalling. Would never use them ever

Never had a good experience with DPD- latest delivery was apparently tossed into a hedge with no identifying features and I’m therefore unable to locate it despite wasting several hours trying. Have had to register a complaint with their customer service department and was told they’d get back to me in 6 working days. Not at all helpful when the parcel was time sensitive. Avoid using DPD at all costs will be my policy in future…

I sent an item in June 2024. They lost a parcel and cost me £1500!!! I put a claim in, they did not care whatsoever. They found half of the parcel a month later, they delivered it to my address with missing items!! I put a second claim in, they rejected this. Overall, I really would not recommend. They have lost a really expensive item and cost me a sale. The staff are incompetent, rude online and simply cannot understand my basic points. Also - the parcel was MASSIVE!! How they managed to lose this item is beyond me, unless it was stolen.

Doesn't even deserve one star but can't write the review without putting it on. Been in for the whole day, my delivery time comes, no knock on door, they didn't bother trying doorbell or even my door which was unlocked so they could have left my parcel in my hallway. I am not even convinced they came, there was no sorry we missed you card through my letterbox and only got a text saying your parcel will be ready for collection from your local pick up shop after I had tried talking to customer service....even that is a joke. Downright shoddy.

Your driver, Christopher based at Middleton Depot is a blatant liar! His lies have left a disabled person without any means of leaving the house. His lack of attempt to deliver and then fake photograph of a house that wasn't mine is outrageous. Now being told we have to wait another 6 hrs for him to deliver!!

Parcel never arrived, DPD driver did not find the address. Regularly order, all the other couriers had 0 problem, DPD is the only one who did not manage to find us...

Absolutely rubbish. I was in the back garden checking the app periodically. The next thing I get an email saying I missed the delivery. Yet the app said he was 7 stops away. Don't waste your time downloading it. I now have to wait a day and pick the parcel up myself from the shop. Even after calling them it was there fault and they wouldn't sen the driver back

Worst delivery company. Customer service is horrible, they just lying out their teeth without a shame. Driver Stuart and Aaron may didn't even bother to find the address , Instead took pictures of a thumb, a door, a box and some flats.

I was expecting a delivery from DPD today that was sent via Amazon. I received a text message at 06:10am saying my parcel will be late due to a delay in transit. The parcel arrived at the DPD sortation depot at 03:33 according to the tracking activity it is now waiting to be sent to the Holytown depot and my parcel should arrive tomorrow. I have tried to cancel it through amazon but they won't cancel it nor will DPD. I am totally peeved off with this and DPD it happens every time with them.

My god!! Don’t know if they do it in purpose or what!!! Either the drivers are stupid or lazy!!! Twice I didn’t get my parcel, first they didn’t go up the stairs! Second they went to wrong adress, what useless company!!!!!!
