DO NOT RENT WITH THESE FRAUDSTERS , THAT IS ALL THEY ARE COMPLETE AND UTTER FRAUDSTERS, I WILL DO MY BEST TO IMFORM AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE ROBBING LYING CHEATING SCUMBAGS when i picked the car up on the 17th October 2017 at 8 pm i was told by the guy behind the desk that a deposit of £95 for fuel and a deposit of £350 for the car was needed, i was happy to put down a deposit as this is the norm for rental agreements, i was assured that both the deposits would be refunded 3-5 working days after the car was returned. I had to cut my holiday short due to unforseen circumstances a week early so i handed back the car. I traveled back to australia keeping an eye on the deposits being returned. I phoned head quarters a couple of times because the 3-5 day period had passed, for them to tell me to keep waiting. I phoned again this sunday just passed to be told that the £350 was infact not a deposit but the cost of extra insurance i had taken out. At no point was i offered extra insurance. The guy behind the desk ASSURED me that the £350 was a deposit for the car, i feel i have been robbed, deceived, cheated out of money. Its fraud what that guy had done quickly added on insurance just before i was going to sign stating the extra money i had to pay was a deposit for damages to the car, I had a family memeber with me when i was collecting the car who recalls the conversation. He also couldnt believe that the deposit wouldnt be refunded when i told him what had happened. The guy behind the counter even initialed after i had signed the contract the "insurance" which i had asked not to take out. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE GUYS

Absolutely the most unprofessional robbing company i have ever encountered. They were supposed to pick me up at the airport. They would not answer the phone. Left me at the airport for 1.5 hours. Then when they finally picked me up brought me to the business park miles away they kept me waiting a further 1.5 hours while the dealt with a couple who they also screwed around. There computer system couldn't accept the licence produced so they can led there booking and wanted double for a new booking. They also had loads of hidden charges too. Avoid like the plague. A taxi for 3 straight days would of been cheaper

Apart from not getting the booked car and not even a proper car for weather circumstances: What about the 24/7 road assistence? Never have I felt so betrayed by a company. Left abandoned in the snow and freezing cold, with all accommodation options in the near area fully booked or closed, not being able to go anywhere anymore because we had been waiting on help for over 3,5 hours while it was first said we would have to wait for one hour. None of their problem. When road assistence finally came, we phoned Easirent again and they spoke for a while, but we only heard the instructions through the road assistence. Our car was taken and luckily we got the help from two friendly women who saw us freezing outside. We did exactly as told but the next day, when we could finally reach Easirent again, we were told we should have never left the car! It was still our problem and it was going to be even more so, as understood. We did not get a replacement and had to take two trains. Left alone no one ever bothered to ask if we were OK.

Appalling and unprofessional service and behavior. After my arrival to Manchester airport, tried to contact the company to pick-up my car and to my astonishment they told me there are no cars available even though I booked and paid for the car three weeks in advance. I'm a frequent traveler and dealt with different companies throughout the world however, nothing similar happened to me like with easirent. Stay away from it

I got a car from them from Stansted, not realising it's not at the car rental village- and had to call lots of times, and wait in the cold, to be picked up. I had requested the Fiat 500 in the photo when I booked, and although I know its just to show the group it turns out they dont have any - at all. When I book with budget etc they usually get my the car I asked for. Just didnt like the fact that they show it (as the most popular) but dont have it. The chap was really nice- but I didnt understand it. I have a yearly package that covers excess (I would pay, then claim back) and so they actually took 1200 GB pounds from my credit card. Most just block the amount. I realised after returning the car that they had actually taken it twice (over AU$5k) and tried to email - no reply. After 10 days it looks like 1 charge has been refunded, but my card shows over $2k still on my card. I am getting no replies to emails, they told me on their facebook page to submit a message in customer service. I rent cars all the time. I didnt feel comfortable that they took my money - and before returning it actually got it cleaned as I thought they might try to charge the huge amount on their documents about costs. Ive never done that before. It just didnt feel right. The actual man who served me was lovely. My issue is with the company. And now Im waiting for my deposit to be returned- why would it take over 10 days to refund ??

Avoid the company at all costs, fraudsters, scammers. After booking a van rental for 2hours, we went to pick up the van to be told a £1,500 deposit would be taken. This was not what the website states. When this was queried we were rudely told as you are questioning me I will not allow the booking any more. At which point we left to find they have taken multi payments from our card (without knowledge). We emailed customer service to advise their final decision has been made and nothing else is owed? When we queried this, they close every email without reply and refuse to comment. Scammers, fraudsters, crooks. If you value your hard earned money avoid using easirebt at all costs.

It was supposed to be a very cheap and affordable car rental, but I ended up paying much more. I initially paid £ 17.35 for a 2days rental. To that, you have to add the insurance. They always put pressure on you at collection time to buy their insurance. The difference is that if you buy from them, you "walk away" if something happens, but if you buy from a third-party, you have to pay the excess and then claim the money back. They hold a deposit on your credit card and give you the money back if nothing happens to the car. In this case, I had to buy their insurance and ended up paying £95 (instead of £ 17.35) because they said they had to hold a deposit of £1250. Of all my years of renting cars, I've never had to give a deposit of more than 800USD, so they made it on purpose to force people to buy their insurance. I had the money in my account but I didn't want to give it to them since from my experience they could hold the money for up to 2 weeks and It was a lot of money.

Do not go near these sharks.. just read their reviews on all revie sites.. £1500 deposit..£95 upfront fuel charge...and that's just for starters. If you are stupid enough to use this company I suggest that you photgraph the car from every angle..wheels..roof..dashbord..fuel level..even by doing this you will most likely be scammed. I refused their £25 pr day cdw as I have an annual policy. Two months after returning the car I found a charge on my credit card...when I questioned this I was told it was for cdw. They refused to refund the money and even had the cheek to says 'we have your credit card details, we can tak what we want' Fortunately, I had the original hire document which showed that I had refused their cover. I had to get my bank involved to get my money.

The reason for this was that I could not produce two forms of ID with my address on dated up to 3 months ago. This info was requested and he said was clearly requested on the confirmation. (below) I showed him the confirmation I received, (below), which clearly states; LIST OF KEY INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR BOOKING: * A VALID (AND ORIGINAL) DRIVING LICENCE PER DRIVER * HIRERS WITH A GB LICENCE MUST PROVIDE DVLA CHECK CODE - CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION * RENTERS NOT ARRIVING THROUGH THE AIRPORT MUST BRING PROOF OF ADDRESS * A VALID PAYMENT CREDIT CARD I produced all of the above, Licence, DVLA Check Code, Boarding Pass for my flight an hour earlier and a Credit Card but was still refused, he then said, "everyone else goes downstairs and accesses a bank statement or similar, why don't you do that, if you can???" I then tried this and was told by a (helpful) member of the Hilton staff that the public computer cannot access financial websites for security reasons. I then went back upstairs and said this, which was shrugged off and was then asked "why, if you do live here, do you want to rent a car anyway, its a bit suspicious!" At this point I gave up, went back to the Airport, and had to pay £30.70 for a taxi to my initial destination and am currently without a vehicle in Bristol,

This place is cheap - and cheap for a reason. With a couple of exceptions the staff here are absolutely diabolical - any inkling of basic manners and common courtesy seems to have been completely lost on them. Case in point was one lad lying to me over the phone about the documentation needed to collect a car, resulting in me having a three-hour wasted round trip from South London, and causing havoc when I had to arrange for someone else to collect a colleague I was due to be picking up and taking to Gatwick that evening with car I was meant to be hiring - only narrowly avoiding missing her flight. Also, I'd advise anyone renting from Easirent using a credit card to contact their bank and ask for the "Continuous Payment Authority" they set up without telling you to be removed. If you don't they'll happily help themselves to money from your card whenever they feel like it.

First of all, I booked through another website (argus hire), only to find out at the airport that I was actually dealing with Easirent, which had not been made clear. Upon collection they tried to sell me extortionate additional travel cover saying that the additional cover (above the rental price) I had purchased on the website (literally as part of the argus hire booking) was not the right one and that I should pay an additional 300 quid. For a 50 quid car hire! I said no. The car was fine for the time I had it, and the drop off wasn't a problem. Except afterwards, they wouldn't release my 1250 deposit back, and the customer services in my efforts to address this were absolutely shocking. First their customer services confirmed it had been released, was being processed and would be with me in 10 working days. When it wasn't, I called the branch directly, and they said this was an issue for the bank. When I called the bank, they said that the branch was completely wrong, and that Easirent are the ones who need to confirm this, otherwise it would take a full month to be released. I called back Easirent customer service, who not only said whoever gave me the first date was wrong, but that it had actually just been released, and would be another week. I went back to my bank who said this was again wrong, and all Easirent had to do was send them an email to confirm they no longer needed the deposit with a code the bank provided to me and it would be released within 24 hrs. Would you believe it, Easirent customer services refused to do this. Said this would be completely impossible, it was all automated, and they could not do this. As a result, I am still waiting on my deposit, probably the full month. So yeah, customer service, except if you want them to release your deposit when they say they will, or be consistent in the subsequent confirmations they provide you, or if you need them to send someone an email.
