Ebay is no longer what it used to be!!! I´ve been a regular vinyl record buyer on eBay for years but eBay is NO longer what it used to be!!! As a prove; many records sellers/shops have disappeared or stopt their business. Too expensive and not trustable anymore! A shame...

I had a dreadful experience with ‘Hand Picked Threads’ and would never risk purchasing from them again . I am not allowed to appeal the sellers decision not to refund ( no reason given ) and my negative review has been removed from the site . No explanation for that either .

I love ve eBay! I've bought hundreds of items through eBay, and sold a few things too. I've never had any issues with the platform, although I've had a few cases when the vendor failed to send me what I'd bought. But in every case, eBay refunded my money.

eBay Rahul K. eBay Customer service” received a complaint in regards to an account hack the money was taken out of my account regardless of the proof of payment and the proof that my account was hacked. The money was not returned to me and my case was dismissed. I would just like to warn anybody linking their bank account cards to eBay and then seeking help from the customer services. This has caused a lot of distress.

Awful service. They blocked my account after my first ever post! They didn’t even say why. I didn’t nothing wrong. I listed everything requested.. They said I cannot use the platform because my post was suspicious?? Like what.

Restriction reason: High risk selling. I was selling 4 years with good account metrics and always shipped on time. Paid a lot as eBay fee, paid for eBay ads, accepted all returns. And one day on April 2024 they sent me suspension and blocked selling account and froze money. Hey eBay, what is going on??? Never will sell again there. we spent a lot of time creating good listings, had a lot of reviews but they just stop all things. NEVER RECOMMEND WORK WITH THEM. THE WORST PARTNER EVER.

The ,money back guarantee it's a lie. I both and item , the seller possibly sanded the package 10 days after. The tracking shows as delivered I didn't get any parcel ,but eBay is not going to refund me the money , because I don't have proof that it was not delivered . Despite the fact that the photo of the delivery proof on the delivery company website clearly showing that it was delivered somewhere else .I actually was talking with eBay customer service were very rude customer service assistant was yelling at me that they see that the package was delivered close to my house and that is good eave as proof of delivery, and he disconnected the call .eBay don't care about customers ,and the money back guarantee does not exist. I don't recommend buying anything on eBay you will lose a money just like I did. eBay is not safe .

This is the culmination of around 2-2.5 months of back and forth with eBay Customer "Service". I got scammed by a buyer after the buyer claimed he "didn't need an item" due to it arriving late (Thanks USPS!). He decided to keep it anyway & refused to pay. After several calls to customer "service" & chat sessions, I'm now being told today that, not only was my (Multiple!) requests for escalation never acted on, but now, since it's conveniently been a month since the last conversation (after I was told to wait!), there's nothing they can do.

I wanted to by some small cosmetics items and they prompted me to open and account, then permanently banned me and will not say why. Customer service is horrible and I am being wrongly treated like a fraudster. I have used guest checkout to purchase occasionally in the past.

I ordered a massage gun that stated it was new. A month into receiving it I find it will no longer charge or work. The seller and eBay say there is nothing they can do as I am passed the 30-day money guarantee. Effectively, I bought a massage gun on its last legs that was billed as unused for £57.99, and both seller and eBay refused to refund me.

I decided to close my 13-year-old account after I didn't receive the item I bought and ebay decided in favor of the seller. I have never used ebay to buy an expensive item if the price exceeds 2k. Because you can be scammed and lose money at any time. In my understanding, their policy doesn't really protect the customer and their purchases.

Called eBay requesting company status or LTD company or plc. They refused to tell me. I explained it’s for small claims court proceedings. I recorded the call for my protection. They refused on call to give info. Escalated to ombudsman. This costs them 750. If you have a complaint refer to the ombudsman. It’ll cost them 750. Make them pay for a change!!

Told to wait 170 days to receive my funds! Created an account, sold two items straight away for around £250 in total. Now eBay are saying the funds are on hold and will be released in 170 days! The two buyers have already received the items and left positive reviews. How ridiculous.

Still awaiting response to complaint. No response on here, twitter, or the numerous review sites. I’ll continue posting everyday sharing my experience until I get a response. Sold 800 worth of dj equipment. Told account on hold. Phoned up as wanted to cancel sell. Was advised on recorded call that all I need to do is register my bank account card. Did this with instructions over the phone. Then was rold id definitely get paid overnight after midnight. Tthis morning bo money and thebiter has my expensive equipment. Now told i have to wait a week out of pocket. No apologies nothing. Useless scam company effecient at taking their fees but incompetent at paying sellers. DO NOT USE EBAY. Will be escalations to finacial ombudsman.

Suspended my account and accused me of bad selling practices. I am a customer/buyer and not a seller. I assumed I was hacked but I could find no selling activity on my account. I had the account for years and barely used it with a handful of transactions, so I had no idea what they were talking about. They refused to substantiate their claim and condescendingly stated their decision is right and final. They didn’t offer to, or assist in, getting to the bottom of anything. They are the sole authority on truth and their decision is gospel. Their customer services also implied that UK data protection laws, especially your right to any data they have on you, do not apply to them because of their “proprietary technology.” This is a bad company.

This is my third purchase from eBay this year and I am now done purchasing from them! The sellers are getting away with shady stuff and eBay will not stop them! I ordered a Chanel I have been wanting for 4 years and the Seller showed it as new but at the last minute changed the photos showing heavy damage instead of "minor". Before this, I bought from someone who was claiming I got my item but never did and eBay did not want to help until my 3rd dispute attempt! Sorry eBay, you'd I are officially OVER!

I can't say something bad about the ebay because back in the day it was a pioneer marketplace for e-commerce business. Many people in the beginning of 00's started their business from the ebay reselling different stuff, exchanging products or just bargaining with people. I'm thankful to them that I was one of those who started business on this platform, cuz it has taught me many valuable lessons.
