“WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have been with ee for from T mobile days. I have have to admit they have just gained there customers from them. They say that they have the best customer service, what a joke. They have given me nothing but head ache since I have had my contract. For the past 4 years they are useless. They gave me by sport for free and charged for 1 year for casting. They say it was trial for 3 months ( didn't even know I had it) £200 late they only gave me half a refund. Then decide to cancel.my by subscription everyone and I would have to call every time to get it set it. Now I have taken out a new contract and on 2 occasion they failed to mention that they have given me 3 months large TV subscription and then decided to charge me for it. I have been mis sold on 2 occasion in a space of 3 months. Now I am giving all the facts and their customer service keep telling me that they will pass me returns ( not 1 mention of refunding me) great loyalty these guys show. Still got no answer from them and also they still ain't bothered to do anything about. Show how they do not care about their loyal customers. T mobile.wrre better. Avoid these guys, they just charge you for behind your back and when you question anything they say it's your fault. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Lets see if they bother to anything about it my issue. Cause I will.jist stop paying them and then we will see what happens.”
“My upgrade was due however I chose to wait slightly longer for a newer device but EE were still charging me full amount even though they never gave me a new phone. After raising this issue they tricked me into another 24 month contract sim only. The staff told me that I can change my contract when I see a better offer so they will put me on a lower plan in the meantime until I'm ready. Now I found a better deal with another provider however if I want to leave I ha e to pay for the next 24 months. Differently leaving regardless, I've been with EE for 10 years and this is how they treating me. I will get all my family members to leave aswell. I already stopped my friend so he doesn't fall in the same trap. He said he will no longer upgrade with EE.”
“EE has to be the worst phone company ever! Never ever use them again literally no customer service what so ever! We are in a global pandemic and all they care about is ripping people off and actually not giving a damn. Never had any such problems with other companies. No proper communication when you complain absolute disgrace.”
“Thieving scum. Avoid this circus of company!!! I placed a complaint In October and I've had to go to the ombudsmen in order to make any progress. Their complaints department is full of iliterate clowns who have trouble reading or even providing a response that shows or demonstrates, they have an understanding of the hell a complaint is. They also have some of the most incompetent managers I have ever come across in my life. You'd have a better conversation talking to a wild raccoon than with these idiots. Its shame I had to give a star because they deserve nothing. “EE have stolen my money. During Lockdown I have a phone in my car glove box purely to use for emergencies. Needless to say I am not using my car at the moment. Today I tried to use the phone only to find EE have removed the money I had as top up. I had no warning of this. I am so annoyed. You are supposed to be concerned about your users during this pandemic not ready to exploit the situation.”
“I have been today, around 12 p.m. visiting the 64 Broadmead EE shop, in Bristol, BS1 3ED where the store manager, Ahmed offered me the worse treatment I have ever received from any company.
- I asked if I can go inside accompanied by my household (4 persons including me) as 3 of us wanted to have new contracts with EE, he said NO, there is only a max 2 (although I explained we are from the same household) he said No, and there were 3 customer assistants inside (why would you have 3 employees and only allow 2 clients) but I said alright.
- After which he mocked me and asked if I want him to brake the law and allow more than 2 persons in the store at the same time, he screamed that we are in a pandemic and there are rules. I am as a profession a Medical Doctor, so I know very well what are the risks. All 4 of us were wearing face masks for the whole of the conversation.
- After which I stated alright, and he kept saying that a colleague of his can assist me from the door (while the other person that was before me, was able to go into the shop), I said that I am not comfortable to speak from the door way (doing a contract would have involved probably me giving my personal details, which I did not want to do from outside of the shop), but Ahmed mocked me again and said a 3rd time this is a pandemic and if I do not like this rules to make sure I inform the government about my views about the rules, while the other 2 shop assistant kept laughing and say bye bye to me.
- I asked if I can make a complain about the customer service I received and how. He said that EE does not have complain procedure, just to call 107 or he can type on my personal phone a number, and shouted to me to give him my phone so he can write down the number where I can call to make a complaint.
So he was not afraid anymore of the pandemic rules, more than fine to touch my personal phone and write a number he saw fit where I could make a complaint.”

“This company is a night mare. For 19 Monti I have had no signal. Now they have admitted they have a big problem. There Webb site is down every day. Luckily they have got me our of the contract.”
“It was such an excruciating experience beyond words could describe. I spent a whole day (no exaggeration) trying to order this black Friday deal, but i was kept redirecting to choose your delivery option and couldn't get to check out. I tried clearing cache, i tried using IE instead of Chrome, i tried restarting my computer several times, I tried to chat to someone, but the chat function for joining EE was closed, tried chat function for customer service it was constantly busy, i tried calling someone at EE but everyone is too busy, it took me at least half an hour before i was able to talk to someone. When i finally was able to talk to someone, they couldn't resolve my problems. The EE team finished at 9pm, i still tried to order online hoping less people online may make the online order work but no!!! I was also told by them that the deal is going to end soon and hence my rush but i have told and reassured again and again that it won't, but obviously it did. So clearly they are not listening. So i finally gave up at 10pm. Don't waste your time.”
“I contacted EE in March this year as I had recently been diagnosed with huntington's disease and therefore unable to work, I was told to not pay my bill and wait for the collection team to call me, this never happened and after a few months I got back in touch to explain and try sort things out as now the bill was in the hundreds. I was told I had one choice and that I had to make a payment agreement which I did and I have paid every month but because the billing date was weeks before my payment dates it cause issues every month and they at one point unknown to me put me through to a debt recovery company, they also ruined my credit rating both on their internal account and to the external credit agencies. I now having to to go to the ombudsman to try get everything sorted as even though they are aware of my condition and how much of an undertaking it will be for me they are unwilling to resolve this. They put me into debt failed to help on numerous occasions and now after dragging things on for so long say that they can't listen back to original call as it is to long ago, they also claim there are no notes on the system to prove any of the things they have done wrong. Dishonest, unhelpful, cruel, insensitive, the absolute worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Avoid avoid avoid. Switch to other network do whatever just do not use. I wish I had read the reviews first as I wouldn't of went to them in the first place. Criminals”
“Worse than BAD! Arranged with EE Customer Service (What a joke) for my PAYM account to be changed to PAYG on 01/12/2020 as I was leaving for Thailand on 30/11/2020. They forget to mention that the PAYG sim needs registering by me in the UK!!! Now I'm doing two weeks quarantine in Bangkok with no network service, can't pay anyone from my UK bank Santander because I can't receive a text with my security code. Hotel phone does not allow international calls, and I only have internet access. Can't contact EE CS online as you can only do this if you have an active PAYM account! Not even sure if they have setup the PAYG sim! Not even worth one star, as Trustpilot doesn't allow none... This is EE loyalty for being a customer for many many years!”

Back in 2012 EE sold me 2 unwanted mobile contracts or in other words they scammed me. When i realized i had been scammed i stopped paying the monthly contracts with only £120 left to pay. I did try to explain to EE but they got mad at me, asked me why i didn't tell them earlier and hanged up on me a couple of times and sent debt collectors on me who have been harassing me to this very day at year 2020, imagine that. Back then i was young, lacked an understanding of the system and EE exploited that. You can be a scum and exploit people but eventually karma will come your way.
After contacting EE this September and explaining my situation they remain uncooperative and even had the nerve to tell me to speak to the debt collectors they sold the debt to in the first place.”
“I have been with EE for over 5years and have been absolutely disgusted with them over the last few weeks I called to cancel my contract knowing full well there would be a bit cancellation cost due to having nearly a year left on contract. I called up last Tuesday and was told it would be £418 to cancel which I was happy to pay as this includes an apple pen add on I bought. I called back to confirm this and was told I had a tablet contract which would cost an extra £134 to cancel. This was not discussed on my earlier phone call and when I asked to speak with a manager to explain that I hadnt intended to take a tablet at the time of my contract in store however this was given to me as a 'free gift' so I didn't think it was fair that I had to pay for a tablet I had never even used and was still packaged in the box. After a whole week of waiting for someone to call me back regarding my complaint I still hadn't hear anything. So today I have called back and been rudely told that I have to pay or they won't cancel my account. I have just paid £544 to cancel and another bill of £84 will be taken at the end of November. Absolute rip off company and would advise to avoid at all costs. A few years ago I was also being charged for a tablet I never even had or knew about for nearly 2 years and was only offered 6 months refund and no apology. Nothing but issues for the get go, I'm just happy I am finally done with EE even at a cost of over £600 in total.”

Most of the time the router is disconnected with a flashing yellow light, if I want to go online I have to keep resetting until it connects, and even then it doesn't last long. I have no idea what I'm paying for. It really is terrifying to have my only lifeline cut off during a world ending pandemic. I have to use the hotspot on my 02 phone most of the time. In 2020.
