Avoid ee
Hi just wanted to say avoid this company as much as you can terrible customer service full of broken promise and staff who argue the point. Took over 4 weeks to deliver the phone that was meant to be next day delivery which must be a record. The phone was in stock and there should of been no issues. Now not happy to stay with them as ot too such a long time to resolve the deliver but jiw say I'm past my 14 day cooling off period, but sure I was told that until the dispute was settled the 14 day cooling off period would not start. Now going to start legal action against this Company after being pffer a ridiculous £40 compensation.
Would love to hear from people who have shared my experience please email me at complaintsagainstee at Gmail. Com, sorry email is in this format
Please like share and email me, let see if we can get them to listen to the most important member of the team US!”
““Absolutely terrible service. EE provided misleading information to me on Friday in order to secure a contract. The operator was extremely unhelpful in supporting me as a customer in holding someone to account. They spoke over me. After listening to your operators monologue which was of no help but a series of defence and excuses to explain their lack of proactivity and attitude, the phone call was suspiciously dropped as I begun to hold your operator to account. They called back at which point, I asked to be contacted by email by a senior operative of which your operative, _ _ refused. I am a working man who runs a business. As a business customer, I requested to be contacted by email which I find completely acceptable to request as a human being with autonomy, and a business man paying for a service which you provide. Time and energy, and the nature of my work dictate how I operative my business, how I communicate. _ _ refused to take this into consideration. Absolutely abysmal service. My phones have not arrived yet which is good as I am now considering leaving EE. I wish to hold the operator _ _ to account who relayed false information to me in order to secure the contract (by extension me not working today, losing earnings) and _ _ who was absolutely abysmal to communicate and seek resolutions with when I relayed my issues to her. I look forward to your response as I will keep on chasing this up. However much of my time and energy will be wasted in order to hold EE to account, commensurate will be my demands for accountability and compensation for such an abysmal service. “ 14 November 1604
To note, I waited all day today on the 15th, they sent the phones to a wrong address. Two days of earning I lost. Personal inconvenience. having to waste time writing emails and making phone calls trying to hold EE to account for their disgusting service.”
“Had 6 months of no signal after the mast got struck by lightning. Many phone calls were made during that period of time well over 40 calls. Phone broke 4 weeks ago whilst under warranty. EE was supposed to send out a courier to collect but that hasn't happened. Yet EE still want me to pay my bill every month for a Phone that's broken and they still haven't fixed their mast.”
“I was a loyal customer for 20 years started with T-Mobile and it became EE.
As I got older my eye sight isn’t as it used to be so I needed a bigger phone.
Vodafone approached me before EE and offered me iPhone 14 max.
I spoke to EE and they refused to match it.
EE is a greedy company that doesn’t care about your loyalty but only care about profits.
If you think loyalty should be rewarded then stay away from EE.”
“Currently on 3 contract finishes start of November . So late sept ring up ee to chat about a contract . Decided on a good package ( sim only ) and was told be with me in a week or so . Well two days later , think sod it shall
Get a new phone too . So ring them back up . Discuss about a new phone etc . Was informed phone shall be with me start of November . Brilliant as current contract ends start of November . Well a week later they bill me for the sim only contract ? So I ring them up and ask why ? As this has been cancelled as changed my package with them ?
Yeah sorry our mistake shall refund you in 5 working days ??
Well 2 weeks go by still no refund so ring up to now be told . Oh we have cancelled the sim only contract and the phone contract by accident . But don’t worry we can put it back on the system now . And you will have your new phone in approx 4 to 6 weeks ?? .
Now that’s no good for me as that means I will be without a phone for approx 4 weeks .
And to make matters worse they have took a further 36£ out of my account and still no refund . I’m now in a position where I have to stop with 3 ( even though I didn’t want too ) as there customer services are terrible also . But there isn’t a lot I can do I can’t wait 6 weeks for a phone to be delivered . And the cheek of it they have now told me it will be another 15 days before I’m refunded any money . ( confused .com springs to mind ) was told 5 working days 10 days ago ??
I shall never use EE and judging by some of the reviews on here it looks like a lot of other people won’t either , considering the calls centers are all in England etc I can’t put this down to a language problem . But a problem with some of there staff not having a clue what they are doing (AVOID!!!!! )”
“Received a couple of bills totalling close to £500. These were for third party charges above and beyond my allowance. This particular line was being used by my son, so I was very aware that I needed to prevent ANY charges outside of the allowance. Unfortunately EE failed to apply the blocks as I requested and coincidentally the call recording of my requests failed to record. We are now at deadlock and I am disgusted by the way my complaint has been handled. Approach EE with caution they do appear to care more about profit than their customers”
“Free upgrade turned into a not so free upgrade, turns out I had 3 or 4 phones because 1 sent shop 1 sent to my house and already have 2 phones so should stay 2 phones not 3 and a 230 quid bill when ee knows I don't cope well with this , epileptic single dad worrying about money and sir its fine anything over we'll give it you back , 1 went to shop so I paid for another line which I was told to do which took phone to 65 not 75 quid but still charged 75. I've done everything they've said been with them since they were orange , loyalty customer with problems just treated like rubbish I would advise anyone to go to a different mobile supplier if you want a better experience, my 2nd phone finishes in Feb and if they don't drop to 65 which I was told they had to by a ee person on the phone, I record all my calls because I'm epileptic. Glad I do. Lovely phone but it's galaxy nothing to do with ee. Yeah I'm leaving after this phone. I'm sure someone else would like my money”
“Broadband gradually increasing in price until it's more expensive than other providers. Ridiculous cost to try and get out of the contract. I can't wait to end my ee broadband contract and move to a competitive supplier.”
“If there will be a option minus stars I will give them -10. This company made a big mess with my broadband, I am without Wi-Fi already months. My company lost lots of money because of them. Already looking for solicitor and cort case. Also not able to check my phone bill. They just taking off money with different amounts. Customer service are very very rude. Definitely will try to punch attention of this company someone from government. It's not normal attitude towards clients.”
“The most digusting Company I have ever dealt with, they sent me a new mobile phone which I did not want, so I sent it back to EE, I did not take out an account, or any sort of package or contract out with them in the slightest, sent phone back with a proof of posting receipt from the post office, weeks later sent me a bill for the phone which I had returned weeks before, I phoned them, and nobody understood what was going on in this Company, next letter another bill, then next a letter from a Dept Collector agency saying I needed to pay the bill or taken to court, I had no phone no contract that I took out with EE, but still wanted to charge me for a phone that was sent back, they eventually said the had received the phone after weeks and weeks, and everything was sorted, that I owed nothing, then a few days ago, they took out a Direct Debit from my Bank Account, & removed £200 from my Bank account, I phoned E E again spoke to another advisor person, ask why they had taken out of my Bank account without my permission this amount of money ,again said it was the phone that I had not send back when I had proof of posting which I took a photo copy of the receipt and sent it to E E, I said where did you get my Bank details from, they said at first "not Sure" then said from BT. I cannot tell you this disgusting, incompudent, dreadful Company they are, DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM, I am having to go to the E E ombusman, to get compensation for the trouble they have caused me.”
“Inefficient and unable to provide a decent service. Very disappointed in the customer care and lack of information provided about transferring to their provider.”
“I pay internet to look at the blue…
I pay internet to look at the blue screen. Since I moved to my latest address my Internet is never working. It s working for one hour and the next 20 minutes is off. I have this problem for 1 year and they are still lying me that they have solutions. I pay for full month but I get only half a month. I m calling them almost every day to fix the issue. Looks like they just click a button and everything is solved. At this moment Internet is off for one hour.”
“Went into branch hoping to sign up. Assistant told us there were no appointments and we were just to leave our number and they would contact us when we could go in. Had travelled 25 miles so could not wait around. Went to other supplier and were seen immediately so signed up with them. Terrible customer service.”
“Most appalling service I have ever had. Several weeks ago I lost my phone. First I rang on Friday the 23rd of Sept and was on hold for an hour, so I gave up.
The next day I rang twice, 30 mins on hold and then 45 mins on hold, then it took over an hour of talking to a guy to get the promise of a new phone. He didnt know anything about the phones he was trying to sell me.
I paid for the phone to arrive on Monday the 26th of sept....no phone arrived...I called... on hold for ages again had to repeat all the same answers to all the same questions and tell them what was going on as it seems nothing was on my account.
Sorry madam new phone will come on wednesday
no phone again.
On thursday they said it has been delivered... but was signed for by someone i dont know... ie stolen... delivered to wrong address? who knows? Call again... answer same questions... no record on my notes.
sorry madam, new phone will be there on Friday... still no phone. On Friday evening I call..long wait on hold, same questions... same no notes on my account. We cannot help you someone will be in touch in next 72 working hours!!!! I mean! Really?!?
By the following Tuesday 4th of October, still no phone.
I get a message saying my phone has been returned to warehouse. I didnt even know it was out for delivery, no emails, or any contact.
I call again Tuesday and they say i have been refunded.... mental! so, a loyal ee customer for years, cant deliver me a new phone and cant be bothered to sort out the problem. Not having a phone affected my work.
so.... a million calls... many let downs and i still have no phone, I have borrowed an old one from my 73 year old father!
DO NOT use EE if you want any kind of customer service. I am disgusted.”
“Pathetic can’t believe it’s only getting worse with EE. Advertising signal strength on top of mountains but can’t make a phone call in my London flat??? Have to walk 5min down the road for a signal. Ducking joke. Shepherds need signal but city dwellers nah duck em”
“My son managed to to build up a bill of nearly £500 for third party charges despite there being a spend cap on the account. Apparently it was the wrong type of spend cap for the type of charges. Because I didn’t ask what was included with the spend cap it’s my fault. I know have to take my case to the ombudsman. EE are a joke, go with a proper provider like Vodafone or O2.”
