Charged me ÂŁ150 for a 3 min visit. They did not send me the T&C's (had wrong email address) and when I called them to rectify this and tell them I had not seen the T&C's, they told me they had the right email address, essentially calling me a liar (they had previously told me they had the wrong one). No follow up quote (as promised) or solution to the problem they said they could fix when they booked the appointment. Call centre totally disconnected from operations. DO NOT USE.

May 2021- same experience and complaint as others on this site. Don’t go through this organisation, go directly to the firm providing the service. ERG charge you if the engineer turns up at your door regardless of whether their engineer is able to do the work required. You may end up paying for someone to turn up and go again.

Don’t trust this company, ERG is cheating company , I called this company ask above no call out charge. I have been told if your boiler haven’t fixed they don’t charge any fee . So I booked an engineer and he came and stayed about 20 minutes to look T the boiler, at that time my boiler is working properly and he didn’t fine any problem, he didn’t repair any thing . After that the company take £150 fee from my credit card. They misleading the customer. Never never call this company and never give you credit card to this company

I'm disgusted with the service they charged me 150 pounds for doing nothing my bank is giving them 15 days to respond do not give them your bank details they will steal your money

Called out a locksmith to fix my door which he couldn’t so I got charged £150 after vat for a door that still doesn’t work

Bunch of scammers my daughter in law and son had money taken from them including a call out fee and the work not done nobody taking calls to explain what happened . Very angry mother as they have a 3 week old baby no heating. Will you please think what you are doing.

Nothing but a bunch of scammers. Only agreed to go with the company because I was told that my leaking boiler would be repaired and working today and there was no call out charge. Was so desperate for the job to be completed that I even paid the extra cost for the Bank Holiday giving a total of ÂŁ185 plus VAT. The job was not complete, I paid ÂŁ185 plus vat for basically a call out charge and quote. I feel totally cheated and robbed by this disgusting company, extorting people with false promises and lies.

No hot water for 5 days and no response after diagnostic boiler issue! As our house was not having hot water the appointment booking facility is very quick but then the repair process took 4 days and not even a follow up call to us from ERG! Very much frustrating but they still charge huge amount of call out fee which a normal certified Engineer could charge less. Very disappointed! Please improve your jobs Escalation service.

I booked an appt with ERG as my boiler was losing pressure. engineer said it was due to a leak from my towel rail heating , said he woulf fix it next day...no engineer, then messaged to say he promised to come first thing next day... no engineer! Customer services said service was done so would need to book another appt or get engineer to do it privately as they believed the job was closed! So now ive had no service to boiler,still got a leak and paid ÂŁ174 They said i would need to pay for the repair to the leak! I said it should be part of the service they said no! Disgusting company.

This company took my money without permission, £150 for doing nothing. They meant to have just replaced a tap,the plumber had a tap on him. No, he wanted to go way and come back again and charge me double. Do not give your card details to this company.I am still seeking a full refund but ERG Facilities continues to want to pay me. DON’T USE.

Quoted ÂŁ125+Vat plus any parts that are required. seemed fair enough to install a socket in the loft. I asked on the call if the job would be any more than that and was told that parts would be minimal and so should be no more than what I was quoted. The electrician arrived on time looked at the job and said it would be 3 hours works plus parts making a simple socket now ÂŁ375 plus VAT and parts. Job was declined, the day after ÂŁ150 was taken from my account. Customer service were very abrasive just saying read the T&Cs and denied any miss-selling. To save any issues like this use someone else

Your customer services were abysmal and and very unprofessional. They cut off my phone call asking to speak to manager.they did not send me an email with job number the terms and conditions were very mumbled and rushed on the phone had difficult to understand. They said they had sent emails with the cost but I had to phone my bank to find out how much they charged and. It was outrageous . I feel the job has not been done properly but am reluctant to contact them in case they deduct money from my account without my permission as the have all my details which I’m not happy about.

It seems like erg are ripping people off I’m not the only one they come to service my boiler they found i hat to have a part i told them i don’t want it done they charged me £174 the work wasn’t done don’t trust ERG

DONT DONT USE THEM THEY ARE RUBBISH AFFORDABLE RELIABLE. FAST RESPONSE This is what they say they also say no call out charge. It cost me ÂŁ135 for him to diagnose the problem all of 10 min. He said he would be back to fit the part. ÂŁ235 later he arrived with the part. Ohhh by the way my heating was working perfectly well when he arrived. But when he left no heating.

Awful service, the engineer waited until 4pm on the day to say he needed a part and was unable to make it after I had booked and given my card details for payment. When he arrived he then went to get another part and left me with NO HEATING as he had done something to the boiler which is still not fixed.

Booked an engineer for next day by 6pm...no show by 4pm...online chat said still finding an engineer. I then get a call to say an engineer was booked, but couldn’t come. Terrible customer service. Avoid.

BEWARE OF ERG CHEATING COMPANY This is no professional company run by call centers cheating people during the first visit and not even diagnosing the problem. Dont regret your decision after calling them. Stay away from them. They will come and they sound in 2 mins that they have sorted the problem. But in reality the issue will still be there and you might have to call them again and again. Thats the way they do things. Pls be beware of them.
