“Both the original case, and the replacement case had some separation at the bottom where the carbon fiber meets the TPU. Not such a big deal if it's coming from a generic branded case, but quite questionable given the fact this is labeled as a "premium brand". Customer service was excellent though.”
“I was disappointed with the IPHONE 6 coversheild I ordered. I put cover on and put phone in my purse. I pulled phone out of my purse only to discover large scratch on face of shield It seems my car key scratched it. I thought cover was virtually foolproof and I have only had the cover for over a month. I paid good money for a product I feel did not live up to the promise made to the consumer.”
“I'm writing this review, possibly prematurely, and I hope my journey with Evolutive Labs will end better than it has started.
I pre-ordered a PlayProof case when they were first announced because I wanted super protection for my new 6s Plus. I believe the release date was going to be the end of November but I can no longer find a reference to it. It is only a week after Thanksgiving, but I have not yet received any update on shipping. I'm trying to be patient but an update from the company would be welcome.
I also ordered a RhinoShield, separately, but not long after my case order, as my initial screen protector choice didn't work out. Since I had already placed an order for the case, and I had been communicating with the same person, it would have been a treat to have them bundle the two and allow me to save some money. No dice.
The screen protector shipped within a week of placing the order but never arrived. Since this was coming via USPS First Class, a week to get from NJ to OH should have been sufficient. The tracking still shows no movement from NJ and I had to fight with them for another week to ten days to have a replacement sent to me. The expectation was that I pay another $5 for shipping and I thought that was poor customer service. After posting to their Facebook page (after email communication seemed to have stopped), they sent another screen protector out and I am now watching the tracking and hoping against hope that it arrives.
Still no word on the case, though, but I am hoping I get word soon that it has shipped. I will give the company kudos for being easy to work with when I changed my mind on the design of the case a couple times and, initially, they were quick to respond to my emails regarding the screen protector not arriving.
At this point, I am hoping that the case and the screen protector are all they are touted to be and more, because, with the amount of cases and screen protectors out there, I don't know that I'm anxious to work with Evolutive Labs again.
I doubt I will be able to update this review to let anyone know about whether the items are delivered so, if nothing else, just be aware that the company is based in Taiwan with little presence in the US and that shipping takes time. While it shouldn't be necessary, it may be worthwhile to pay the increased cost of shipping for quicker and perhaps more reliable delivery.”
“I ordered a Playproof, but was sent the wrong order. Evolutive Labs was helpful and willing to remedy the problem; however, communication has been lacking and the process has been SLOW. It had been more than three weeks since I returned the incorrect case, and as of this writing, have yet to receive the proper order. I am confident Evolutive Labs will work to improve in this regard.”
“I purchased the screen protector for the 6s plus and was disappointed to find that when I put it on the screen it did not fit properly paid a pretty good chunk of money so I would have hoped to get something that would have fit”
“I love the products, but the customer service has been horrible. I ordered two cases and only one was ever shipped. When I emailed customer service I was told that they can confirm only one parcel was shipped but cannot confirm what they shipped in that parcel. They told me the only way they could determine if I was lying and had actually received both cases was to show them the bag the order was shipped in. It was two weeks at this point and after telling them I no longer had the bag they said that was the only way to confirm that I had not been shipped both cases.
So now I am out $50 and do not have the Christmas present I had been expecting for my mother-in-law.
This is after I supported the company on Kickstarter before it had even been launched. You would think they would have some loyalty to repeat customers.”
“The delivery went wrong. You sent a new one but it takes me more then a month to get two products to the Netherlands.. It is far but its almost 2016..”
“When you sell a screen protector for iPhone 6 , it's OK that fit, but when you sell a screen for iPhone 6 S and you send me a screen sized for iPhone 6, WHY ? Are you so tired to re-sized your screen to fit to 6 S or you don't have any craft to do that. When I tried to stick this screen too little to adjust at one corner, I got a screen with the holes every where. You don't think to your customers to do that, so I give you a poor rating.
I bought a Samsung S4 about 3 years and I never had problem to fit your screen, becaused the size was perfect .”
“Im a bit skeptical about the screen protector claim that it is scratch resistance, because mine already has a scratch after a week. It is very unlikely i will recomend this product to anyone.”
“Not sure if review of the product is appropriate here. I bought the product over 3 week to date but i am yet to receive it. I got email after 3 idays saying itje product is shipped but after 18 days today it is yet to arrive. You need to check your mailling- shipping process a mechanism and or vendor you patronise
Ajibola”
“This is not compatible with iphone 6S although you advertise it as such.
The screen protectors are smaller and a gap is shown between the screen protector and the rubber bumper.
The back cover is not sticking to the back of the iphone 6s since at the two horizontal line the iphone has at the back the protector do not allow it to do so.
very disappointing.”
“I bought the iPhone 6 bumper/front and rear screen bundle.
Bumper is excellent, really helps the grip of what is a very slim phone. Very tight fit, everything accessible. Haven't dropped my phone, but it feels like it'd take some abuse, both the screen and rear camera are protected. Bumper is 5/5
Screens: rear screen had no Apple cutout, so as that bit is slightly indented, it didn't stick. In the end the whole back screen fell off anyway. 0/5
Front screen isn't a perfect fit either, but has stayed on so far, despite over hanging slightly to the right and at the top. I'd expect that from a £2 screen cover. Can't say I'm exactly delighted. 2/5”
“The glass shield does not cover the whole piece of glass. There is an edge and it looks bad.
The back cover protector looks terrible and does not seal good around the edges.
You can also not return this item once it is used.
The case is good but I would not spend the extra money on the front and back protectors because they looks so bad.”
“The screen protectors weren't wide enough to cover all of the screen and the bumper is showing discoloration after just a few weeks.
It might be good protection but this isn't what I expected at all. A waste of my money.”
“The screen protector seems very strong, feels nice and adhered very well and easily, however the bumper case's quality was lacking and has started to disintegrate already with bits of it flaking off, very disappointing for the price”
“I don't normally drop my phone but in the event I do I figured after David Pogue review this would be the best case. I got the white/gray since I have a white iPhone but its now slightly discolored with less than 30 days of use. I have the screen protector but that was not cut with precision I had to choose whether to allow it to fit perfectly over the home button or the camera hole and speaker slot at the top. It was annoying to have it scraping my finger on the home button so I angled it to fit that perfectly and now the camera hole and speaker slot are slightly covered. Also the screen protector for back and front are small so it does not meet the edge of the bumper which means the parameter of the screen protection catches stuff and needs to be cleaned. Maybe it suppose to be that way I don't know since it's my first screen protectors. Over all for the price I paid not happy with how color is wearing from standard usage and screen protector fit on back and front of phone with that parameter being there. Whether of not it will save my phone from a horrible drop remains to be seen since I have not dropped it yet so for that this grade does not apply to that point.”
“When I put the foil on the front everything was fine but it won't even go on the back..there's air bubbles everywhere there is one of these plastic lines (iphone6) also when you bend the case a little bit by accident it's ruined it doesn't go back to its old form..expected more from a 50 dollar bumper and protector bundle”
