“I don't like your policy on changing tickets, it is too restrictive and not customer friendly. I had purchased an advanced adult ticket that needed a railcard but when I need to upgrade that ticket to a normal adult ticket (without a railcard) I was told I would have to purchase another ticket. To change the ticket the admin costs would be greater than the value of the ticket. The ticket I had to purchase was double the cost of the normal adult ticket I had purchased so not at all happy”
“Generally pleased & happy to use Hull Trains. Think the Service on the return journey was a little under Par with the staff more intent on having a ' chin wag ' then looking after what was a quiet 1st class carriage. Also overall things becoming a little tired looking & needing refurbished”
“I always use Hull Trains website when planning a trip in England, because I can be sure the times and tickets will be reliable .
My only difficulty is that I have a UK bank account and billing address but spend a lot of time in Europe. This means that when I´m planning to go to England and use the trains there I would like to be able to have the tickets sent to another address. This service is not available so I have to arrange for the tickets to be sent to my billing address and the ask for them to be forwarded to me.
This is the only problem.

“Hull Trains are easily the most comfortable and clean trains that you can find in the UK, and the on-board staff are always absolutely lovely: they have never failed to be helpful, polite and friendly.
Unfortunately I have recently had a lot of trouble with delays and cancellations on the Hull Trains services so I am starting the feel that they have become quite unreliable. However I should also say in all fairness when I have applied for refunds for delayed journeys I have received excellent customer service from their team so I will keep booking with them for the time being. I just really hope their reliability improves, especially for the Christmas period when I will be travelling a lot and don't want to spend the little free time I have in train stations or stuck on slow services.”
