Do not use them as they cannot deliver the service they promise. I booked my car for an MOT and a full service, they confirmed they were collecting and delivering the same day unless extra works were required. I asked for some time off at work to be at the collection point the time agreed. They contacted me only a day before the collection date to postpone the service for the following day, same time of collection. The night before the collection they changed the time from 8.30-10.30 to 9.30-11.00. I had no option so had to call work to advise the change. Nobody turned up. At 11.00 I called the customer service center and they advised they couldn't get hold of the garage so they may be on their way to pick my car up. I said I could await for another hour but no longer. After an hour nobody turned up so I called the customer service again and same answer. I decided then to cancel the whole booking and look for an alternative. Fixter cannot guarantee any type of service and they do mostly depend on the garage so it's a complete joke. They work as an intermediate party for a service they cannot fulfill. Go direct to a garage and avoid Fixter. Waster of time.

Horrendous service. They took my car for service and mot and it was returned damaged. The driver agreed that it was not there before and called the office. I then spoke to them and was told that yes the driver had agreed with me and to send a couple images for the paperwork. I was told not to worry it’ll be sorted in 24 to 48 hours. 5 days later I did not hear back and contacted them. They promised call back and email responses 5 separate times and they didn’t I had to contact them. The feedback I gave via a feedback email was ignored and so was email and letter to the CEO. They offered for the garage to polish out mark but then suddenly decided to no longer acknowledge the scratch. I said no I want it to go to the dealer but they’ve refused. Today I went through their email thread again today but noticed that my previous email with images had been edited it the thread. I just want a full refund these people are morally bankrupt and unprofessional don’t use them. Look at the original email thread v the one they have clearly edited with different images and they are circled. Check the dates and times I’m not lying. I just want a full refund and never have anything to do with these people again. The CEO did nothing. He ignored email to him and letter as well as the fact he was cc’d into all these emails. I now have to pay for scratch and mark to my car to be sorted. If I was a man I wonder if different outcome.

Impossible to give it any higher. Was desperate for a quote. These guys told me they’ll get back to me within 3 hour - that was over 24 hours ago. Their phone service, you just get the ringing and eventually they hang up. I’ve seen the terrible reviews of some commenters, but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Update: after putting this up, funny enough, they decided I was worthy of a reply. The most ridiculous thing of this whole issue was that they sent me an email address to send to them and they’d get back to be. It was the same as the one they sent me when they told me my quote was “being processed”, yet I Wasted 1.5 days replying to their requests for information that was literally written below and that they already had. First email, they wanted my car fault. When they eventually replied, they wanted my phone number. It was a calamity. The worse part, and the final time I’ll entertain these 🤡s again, was when they actually called and told me they’d call me back with a garage. Guess what, didn’t bother 😂😂 Fixter, please don’t waste any of our time in trying to reach out. You’ve had the chance and I’ve found a mechanic to do it. This post will remain, because people out there need to know that you are not reliable. You will let them down. People need their cars and the deserve to know.

Car booked in to have a new radiator fitted by Trade Tyres and Car Service in Alton. Car was due to be collected today between 8.30am and 10am. Day taken off work. No collection by 12pm so phoned Fixter. 9 minutes waiting and eventually spoke to someone who said they would phone the garage. No joy. Fixter said they would phone me back with an update. Still waiting. I called the actual garage myself 6 times and no one picked up the phone. 4.50pm and still nothing. What a complete waste of a day. Advice- Stay well clear and find a local garage that will do the work. A complete shambles from start to finish.

Avoid Fixter. They offered to refund me for losing my car but didn’t refund me anything and don't reply to my emails.

My car was returned 4 hours after the expected time, with 2 warning lights on the dashboard, while my car was in perfect state when they collected it. They said they got a nail in the tyre and did not fix it correctly. The MOT was not done despite what they said, and it expired. They came back to pick up the car to fix the tyre, and drove over 120 miles with it!!! Do not use them!!

MOT cancelled the day before at 2:30. They told me that the garages couldn't do it, upon further questioning they explained that their system let's you book a collect and deliver mot even if the garages around you don't offer it. Then they just ring you (the day before) and cancel it. They don't offer an alternatives and just tell you to complain if you have a problem, no compensation at all. Really poor customer service and terrible system. This whole identical process also happened to my wife about 3 months before, she managed to get an mot out of them eventually but had to be very flexible about days and times, we thought it was just a one off so I booked in with them but apparently not! Do not use this service if you have a garage near, just go direct!

Fixter is con company. They charged me extra for fixing bits of my car that did not need to be changed for MOT and charged me extra money. They don’t even do the full service.. I had pay again to get it sorted. Never ever use them. Shame on this company.. it’s scam !!

Fixter have changed the original booking so many times I have lost count. Everyday it changes. There are numerous reviews on here that show you how bad this company is. I work in the legal profession and my appointment has been changed everyday and still today they want to change it again. There is no customer service what so ever. All this company want is money and they cannot get enough of it. Customer Service does not exist just give me your money and we will sort things out later on. I will put a formal complaint in as I have waited ages for someone to communicate with me but everyday they change my appointment. SHAME ON YOU. Don't waste your time with these losers. Go to a company that can help you and stop giving excuses for their work load. Shame on you Fixter.

DO NOT USE EVER. Confirmed booking at 10.30am, called at 3.30pm to say they were trying to resolve as there was an issue, called back at 5.30pm to say it was cancelled due to a mistake in the booking. On a Friday night. Worst customer service ever.

The worst choice I did was to ask Fixter for a Mot. First of all, you have a very high chance of not passing the MOT, They are not in time at all, they had to pick up my car between 8.30 and 10 am, they did it at 11 and they had to bring it back on the same day, in between 4 and 6 pm but they changed the delivery date for Next day, between 4 and 6 pm without telling me anything So if you are ready to lose two days of work for an MOT, Fixter is the best choice. Next time I will go with Click Mechanic

I booked my MOT and the day before, Fixter sent me a confirmation that all was fine, and half an hour later notified me that my MOT was cancelled. Conveniently for them, their call centre was closed by then. My MOT was due the day it was supposed to be going to Fixter, so now they have truly left me in the lurch, never again will I choose Fixter

My car had 3 advisories from fixter last yr and I didn’t complete 2 of these. When my car got MOT this week they failed to pick up on them. So not sure if they were genuine faults. They also claimed a brand new tyre I only purchased 4 weeks ago is less than 0.6. My car was meant to be returned between 4-6. I received a call at 6.30 saying a driver was on hos way I didn’t receive it back until 7.45pm with no apology. It took 20minutes to collect but an hr and 15minutes to return. I also put 5litres of diesel in on the morning due before collection it has been returned with no diesel left in. Not happy with the service this time round. Will not use again.

Would not recommend, they added work on after I had confirmed the work, I asked them not to go ahead and they still, finally received my car back 24hrs later than agreed, where over 100 miles of fuel had been used for a 60mile round trip.

Never choose Fixter, They dont send driver to pick or drop. We end up waiting in cold for more than a hour to get MOT done. Garage don’t let us drop our car and go. Fixter don’t respond to calls. Horrible service. Never get cheated by their sweet talks. They just fool you.

I would not recommend Fixter to anyone after my experience. Utterly terribly and unprofessional outfit from start to finish really showing their incompetence and it's clear the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing with so many mistakes made. Additionally, I. was offered a measly 'goodwill gesture' of £20.00 which was an insult after getting my car 3 days later than agreed. Everything was so reactive with Fixter, rather than being proactive like any good company would do in appeasing my frustration with the continual delays and issues. It was an absolute mess the way this booking was handled and I would give no stars if I could.

My recent experience with Fixter was not at all positive. My car was picked up for an MOT and service on Tuesday morning. About 3 hours later, I was contacted to be told that my bill would come to nearly £1000 because it had 4 major repairs that needed doing. I was also told that the car would not be released unless I paid because its dangerous. A couple of hours later, I received a knock at the door and someone from the garage had driven my car back to me with no further info on the next stages. Just said that someone would be back for it in a couple of days. My immediate thoughts were, but I thought the car was dangerous and couldn't be driven? My partner then returned home, got in touch with another garage and got them to assess the car, and provide a second opinion. The garage said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and that I had clearly been scammed. I rang Fixter straight away to cancel the £1000 worth of repairs that they still planned to carry out on my car and got an MOT retest at the garage that provided the second opinion. I had no advisories at all and it was a clear pass. I'm appalled that Fixter would try to scam me - especially in the current climate and I won't be returning again. If you want honesty and reliability, then I would recommend building a relationship with a garage locally. It's too easy to take someone for a ride when you don't have to face them. I'm aware that Fixter uses a number of different garages - so maybe I was just unlucky. But it shouldn't be allowed to happen at any garage that they decide to use.
