This is my first time I've ever had to do this, but the customer service for Floors 4 U online is literally the worst I have ever experienced in my life and I do not know how they're still in business. We put an order online on 22nd March for almost £900. The website says "delivered within 2-3 days". It's now been 15 business days and I've still no idea when they'll be delivered. The website still says they're in stock, so that's either a non-truth or wishful thinking. We were due to have a new kitchen installed on 1st April and needed the flooring in place beforehand, so couldn't do that and still don't have any idea when they're being delivered. I have been promised numerous delivery days, rearranged work so I could be there (as it's kerbside delivery only and we're a second floor flat) and then rang on the day to find out what time they were being delivered, only to find out that weren't even coming that day. Such a waste of everybody's time.... Delays happen, and I would have been totally ok with that, if it wasn't for the continual broken promises and (what appear to be) made-up stories by the online staff Katie W. Who has promised to ring me back maybe 12 times, but I've only ever had one call from her, says stuff like (I didn't have you order number, I wrote your phone number down wrong, I don't have your number - they DEFINITELY have our number!). Then they tell me we don't qualify for a discount because the floors were already discounted, but don't have an answer when I say they're the same price as in the store and there's no discount online, and they're the same price as when I bought them before (for first half of our flat in Nov 2017 - if we hadn't already done half our flat, then I would have definitely asked to cancel the order). The one person (Katie) who deals with this, won't pass on the delivery company details contact to me, apparantly doesn't have any senior manager I can speak to and then still won't give me a delivery date.... I think you can see where the bottle-neck is!!! Such as shame because the shop staff are really helpful. I really didn't want to post this, I just want our product that we spent nearly £900 on, and to get our kitchen finished!!!! If this doesn't work then I am going to trading standards next because their website (& all other) promises are pure fiction! Customer service absolutely rubbish. You carnt complain over phone only email that never gets a reply. DO NOT USE this company. No refund only credit note issued. Wish I’d read reviews before hand

Bought the flooring from floors 4 you Stockton and we were recommended a fitter called Chris who I was told was a great lad . They worked out a price on the size of the room without seeing it and we agreed.I had to get the flooring delivered a week before so it got used to the room temperature . We waited in all day for him to phone and say he couldn't make it that day and would drop the next day . The next day he sent someone else he paid to drop it off. He was then late when starting the job , did nothing but moan about taking the skirting boards off . He then said we needed to board the room which would be another £265 . We paid that and they got 3/4 of the way through and said they had to go to another job and couldn't come back till 3 days later at 3 o clock after many phone calls the lad helping Chris came at 4.45 and at 7.45 had to leave still the floor wasn't sorted . He said he would be back 9 the next day and surprise surprise no show . Rang me to say can they come about 12.30 as they needed to pick up some trim , I said no I wanted it sorting . The lad came about 10.30 and finished it off but there was loads of mess left out side and holes in the wall from the skirting boards. He said they were going to drop some Caulking off and could the painter I had finish it off . I left message asking when they could drop the Caulk off and they said couldn't find a match for it and could I go to B&Q or Screwfix . They were not interested in the job from the start and have left us to finish it off. The floor looks nice apart from the glue we had to scrub off . The customer service is horrendous and Floors 4 You I will tell everyone I know not to use you . You took a lot of money off us and some of the things you charged for were never used. I would be looking at recommending different people as if they are doing the floors on behalf of you they are not setting a good image.

Although product I bought was delayed by a couple of days I was at least kept informed by the salesman in the Crosshands store. Has now been fitted but needed an extra pack but all good now .

never buy from here! I shopped at the Dudley branch and I’ve never been more appalled by a human being in my life! I ordered flooring two weeks ago they said I’d get a call when it was in which I never did, I then had to chase them for a week as I needed the flooring for my new house so it was safe for my kids to be in the house. By the following Saturday I went in to cancel my order as I’d had enough and miraculously they told me it was there funny that! I tried to get a refund they said they couldn’t do it without a manager and to again come back Wednesday, I did with a relative and again was told I couldn’t get a refund any other shop and I wouldn’t have had this problem. The staff behind the counter were outrageously rude to me asking for details and then proceeded to yell at me to get out of the shop because I wouldn’t leave till I had spoken to a senior member about his attitude and my refund. He was border line verbally aggressive towards myself and my relative I was apphauled I own my own design business and I will be making sure that myself, work colleagues and family never shop here again! Iam currently working with trading standards to get my money back.

Ordered laminate flooring and was told it would be in 7-10 days. WRONG! 4 weeks later still waiting........ ended up giving them an ultimatum and still they wanted to change the goalposts. Ended up getting our money back but it was a nightmare to keep rescheduling our fitter. Wouldn’t order anything else from there unless the stock was already in store.

My oak floor is beautiful. I needed one more box to finish it. I was told it was no problem when I bought it to get more if needed. I ordered and paid for it on February 13th and it finally arrived after many phone calls on March 12th. I also e mailed them from this site messages but nobody bothered to reply. I’m very happy with the floor. The long delay to finish the job was unsatisfactory.

Horrendous customer service throughout.Problem with our flooring with marked patches all over it and company refusing to deal with this appropriately.After weeks of chasing,they now want to send an “independent” assessor to look at the flooring,however this assessor is provided by them so is not independent!product listed with 20 year warranty but they won’t even resolve this after 9 weeks so I would avoid at all costs!poor quality flooring and poor quality service

We placed an order for cricket club and they cheated by sending another product which was available £11 cheaper in other places. When asked for this they declined to compensate. Also, delayed the delivery due to which we ended paying our builder which also they said is your headache. Such an unprofessional bunch of team they are. TOTAL CHEATS

Avoid this company at all costs. Firstly, Floors 4 You don’t have a customer service number and only take responsibility for the sale of purchased goods i.e. don’t take any responsibility for product quality, delivery, fitting or after service. Four out of twelve packs of vinyl flooring were delivered damaged which took two weeks to be replaced. Floors 4 You continuously make promises that they do not keep and try to shift the blame onto customers wherever possible. It is also worth noting that Floors 4 You will not cancel any orders which have been made no matter what the circumstance.

We ordered flooring for our lounge dining room, kitchen Hall stairs landing and downstairs toilet from the Cardiff store . The store had previously had good reviews and had a special offer on at time of purchase.We ordered this back in February 2018 following a horrendous boiler leak On December 20th 2018 last year.Due to various delays with de humidifiers and having to have new screed we have only just been able to arrange our floors to go down. Having lived with concrete and dust for past year ,I was finally looking forward to having flooring again. First of all the floors were supposed to be fitted on Thursday 13th December after several phone calls to the store to check stock and fitting date we were told that there was an issue with the fitter, and that they would be coming to us on Wednesday 19th December 2018, however on phoning store again to check time fitter was coming was told that there was now a problem with the fitter and that the original fitter had now left. The store was not very sympathetic and said there was nothing they could do this side of Christmas. I then tried to speak to Shaun, the regional manager who was very unsympathetic and very unhelpful, although the manager of the store was rather more sympathetic and said he would try and get a fitter for us before Christmas.Eventually they found fitters and arranged it for today 20th December 2018.On arrival the fitter measured up and informed us that we were 8 boxes short of the engineered wood that we needed for the dining room, on phoning the store to inform them of this, they replied that we never ordered or paid for the floor in dining room, which was not the case as we gave the measurements which were from Wimpey's house dimensions which we were given when we bought the property, therefore the measurements were accurate and correct and as far as we were aware the dining room floor had been included in the price we were given. We had phoned the store on several occasions and checked the dimensions and were assured that what we ordered covered the lounge dining room, kitchen downstairs loo, hall stairs and landing. On phoning the store we were informed that it had not been ordered with original order as it looks like whoever did the order ( someone called Max) had not included the dining room measurements in original order despite giving the correct dimensions and checking on numerous occasions. a We were informed that if we required the engineered wood for the dining room we would have to pay again and pay for another fitter, which I find is totally unacceptable as it is the stores fault that this happened and not ours.To make matters worse the fitter then informs us that there is not enough laminate to lay the downstairs loo floor as they were a box short, this apparently was due to the laminate we ordered not being stocked any more and new supplies had less laminate in them than previous supply.We spoke to Shaun Tiffany regional manager who again was not really helpful but agreed to provide a box free of charge but this would not be available until after Christmas. Shaun eventually agreed to pay half of the fitting and materials for the dining room which again can now not be done until after Christmas.We are also short of door T bars which again was underestimated by Max when we did the original order.As the fitters were leaving we were also informed that the doors to our lounge and dining room can not be put back as they need to be shaved since flooring has gone down, so now we are left with no doors to lounge and dining room (Dining room doors go through to lounge), no floor in dining room and downstairs loo, no floor in dining room, no T bars on several floors. The attitude of both the regional manager and the manager in store is horrific we paid a large amount of money to this store and now have to fork out even more to get the job finished.I have spent the whole day crying and it has ruined our Christmas as now we will have no floor in dining room when family come over.I feel very frustrated and let down by the store and think the attitude is appauling, it was the store's mistake not ours. I do not know if there is, an ombudsmen to look into this kind of thing, but sure as hell will be looking into it. Currently we have little choice but to pay the store the extra as no where else seems to stock the engineered wood we need and as dining room and lounge join by double doors we need it to match Avoid this shop at all costs.We will have to [pay for completion but will never ever use this store or company again. Christmas has been utterly and completely ruined.

Awful customer service 2 cancelled deliveries no explanation and substitute underlay. The flooring itself is excellent just let down by poor delivery.

Wouldn't even give 1 star. Asked if they could source a floor that I had previously bought from the same unit, although under a different company. They said they could and that I would get the floor in 10 days. It's now over a month later, still no floor (and only concrete floors in my house) no commitment on a date they can confirm & most of all, the store manager and area manager of the Newcastle store have to have the worst customer service skills I ever witnessed. Asked for one of the directors to call me, still no call. A total scam. Had my credit card company reverse the transaction. stay away and find a more reputable retailer.

Customer service they have none been waiting for my flooring for four weeks even though was promised 7 to 10 days said was manufacturer out of stock just liars rang the manufacturer direct and they advised me they have other suppliers went to floors and doors and they have sorted my order straight away and is being delivered within 3 days floors for you stay well away

Bought goods from the Warrington store in May 2018. Oversold on a number of items that the fitter returned to the store for refund. Six months and lots of telephone calls/emails later still no refund. No telephone number for customer services and they do not reply to emails. Do not buy from these people.

I have had 4 boxes of flooring delivered and all are damaged and xant be used i have emailed and no response as of yet i need this sorted asap
