I ordered fence panels through my local garden centre from Forest Garden. Paid in full and was told it would take three to four weeks to deliver. Four weeks past and I was then told the price had gone up by 7.5% and my order would take another four weeks once I paid the increase. The order was cancelled and I obtained my panels in 7 days at the original cost from another supplier. Forest Garden have now lost my custom and a future planned project for a 300 meter fence line and decking project. Shame on Forest Garden for trying to rip of it’s customers and not honour the original purchase. I have since found out through my local garden centre they have form for ripping off there customers. DO NOT purchase anything from this company as they have no customer care or ethics.

Ordered a shed online through a different company that uses Forest Gardens as the supplier and delivery. We were able to choose a date for delivery upon ordering the shed which we chose 15th June. On the 14th June we received an email saying our shed would be delivered on 15th between 9:17am - 11:17am but that we would receive an email on the morning of delivery to stipulate or more accurate time slot. On the morning of 15th June (delivery day) we did indeed receive an email stating that our shed will be delivered between 7am - 9am and so I tracked the driver as it enables you to do so and they were still in Cheltenham at 9am (we live in Bourton-on-the-Water 20mins away), that's fine I thought maybe they had a little delay, which happens. Well, at 10am I tracked the driver again to see how he was progressing and to my amazement he was heading down the M5! Kept tracking the driver every couple of hours and he ended up in Bristol and that is where he stayed up until around 1pm ish. The driver then headed back up the M5 and the tracking seemed to then cut off halfway up the M5. I called Forest Gardens several times to be told that they would ring me back with an update on my order and guess what never received one that day. I had an incline that I had been fobbed off and so I ended up googling reviews for this Company and have found that what is happening to my order happens quite regularly to others. Roll on Tuesday 16th June and I receive a call from Forest Gardens just after 9am stating that their was a problem with the loading of our shed. Apparently the load was too high and was deemed unsafe!!! Surely they know what orders they are picking up that day and should provide the correct transport to accommodate the loads should they not? He then proceeded to say I will have to put your order back through and we will then contact you at some point to give you another delivery date. Me knowing that I am being fobbed off said to him "your telling me that you can't give me a delivery date right here right now over the phone?" He couldn't give me a reasonable answer so knowing I was being fobbed I told him to no bother as I will be cancelling my order through the Company in which I placed the order. I have cancelled my order and am awaiting the refund of which they say will take up to 5 working days. I then on Weds 17th June received a text from Forest Gardens saying that my order will be delivered on 25th June despite the fact I have cancelled my order. I called the original Company in which I am awaiting the refund from to confirm the order is definitely cancelled and they confirmed it is. It will be a case of wait and see if they do try to deliver it on that day and if they do I will just have to laugh. Do not ever use this Company, how they manage to stay afloat is beyond me. Their customer service is shocking and zero f***s are given.

I work for a merchant that sell's forest garden products so ordered it through work expecting the service to be seamless. After being told it would be a 4 week wait due to Covid-19 which was understandable I received a delivery text 1 week after ordering stating my delivery would be arriving the day after in the morning. 4 hours after the estimated delivery times still no order so I rang up to question to find out that it was still in the warehouse and there was an error with the system, hence the incorrect delivery text. Annoying but was 3 weeks earlier than told originally so not too much of an issue. Coming up to 4 weeks after ordering I spoke to a lady called Emma on the live chat to ask for estimated delivery date in which she gave me a date 3 days after which was perfect but 3 days later I had received no delivery text the day before or the day of delivery so was sceptical. So again spoke to Emma on the live chat which confirmed delivery would be what she said before so I sat and waited for my delivery again and again no show. Rang up to speak again and a man called Amit dealt with my call but didn't know why it hadn't shown up and it was supposed to be there. He seemed confused so looked into it further for me and called me back. When he called back unfortunately there had been an error and they were unsure why but my delivery was on their system but was never loaded to the van. This meant my delivery was not getting deliverd on the day they had told me. I understand errors are made in companies but that is 2 days I have spent wasting time waiting for my order to arrive and have been waiting for 4 weeks now. The next delivery date they could get me would make me wait for a total of 7 weeks and there is nothing they can do in terms of an earlier date. I am really not happy with the lack of organisation in this company and how they have wasted my time multiple times waiting for a delivery which never shows. My own company who has direct contact can't even get a reason to why the order hasn't come which I believe is diabolical and makes forest garden's customer service department look incompetent. My delivery has obviously yet to arrive but I am now sceptical it will even come at all. 7 weeks for a flat pack shed is stupid. The customer service from Amit was polite and I appreciate him reordering my product to crease the errors out but I am not happy with my order basically being lost and the lack of information why it has been.

On 21st May I ordered a Summerhouse from George at Asda. On Thursday 4th June I received a text from Forest to say the Summerhouse would be delivered on Friday 5th June between 4pm and 7pm. I spoke to Emma on your Live Chat and she confirmed the delivery date and times. On Friday 5th June I received an email from Forest to say the delivery times would now be between 9.30pm and 11:30pm. Again, I spoke to Emma via your Live Chat and she told me to ignore those times, they were wrong, and the delivery was definitely between 4pm and 7pm. I explained we were two elderly ladies and usually in bed by 9pm! She confirmed the delivery would be 4pm to 7pm. When I “tracked” your driver, he was actually only a couple of miles away but the tracking still said 13 hours away. Well, no sign of the delivery and on the tracking late last night (Friday), it said he was only an hour away, and that was around 11pm! My partner, who is in her 70’s, waited up until 1 o’clock in the morning. I’ve checked on your website this morning, and it says you only deliver between 7am and 7pm, so why on earth did you expect us to wait up until past midnight? No way of contacting you on a Saturday morning! I have two very angry men here this morning, who have arrived to construct the Summerhouse for us! No Summerhouse! And they are demanding the £250 we agreed to pay them for a days work! I am appalled and so disappointed! This is really a despicable way to treat two elderly ladies and I will be speaking to Asda. I have Multiple Sclerosis and a lung disease which means I have been isolating for months but this weekend has made me ill. Ann Martine Donaldson

Summerhouse On 21st May I ordered a Summerhouse from George at Asda at the cost of £575.00. Needless to say, still no Summerhouse! I will be posting this review on as many sites as possible until I get some answers! Ann Martine Donaldson

Probably the worst workmanship I have ever seen, I would recommend that if you ever see an advert for this companies sheds, proceed at your peril or you will be deeply disappointed.

Diabolical after sales service. Not prepared to do anything about gaps between slats and door no longer lockable 6 months after you erected the Wrekin Log Cabin. Best advice is DON’T BUY FROM THEM.

No roof beam on delivery for one off the two sheds along with missing batons. Badly finished wood. Nails not in right. Window beam not in middle where we had to add other bit off wood to fit windows On both sheds. Holes in most off knots in wood where light shines through. No batons on corners off one shed as not received till 12 days later after 5 times Contacting them on chat. Two broken windows. Badly fitted wood in areas. Hole in knot where can put pencil through. Had to put tarpaulin over roof off second shed as half built when noticed beam and batons missing, expected beam to be delivered with windows 5 days later but did not come, waited another week for them. Parts upside down where we had to fix. Asked forest to come and pick them up for return but refused, they said it says on there web site that its states about knots falling out, l told them l ordered through very and does NOT state that on very, but what about all other problems, they couldn't care less. He worst quality l have ever seen. I sent photos off the quality, the person did say she saw them then said she couldn't open them to see them, so what was it. I only gave one star as didn't allow no stars. Ordered them through very.co.uk.

Awful service and a bad-quality product. I ordered an overlap shed from the Range, which was then delivered and supplied by Forest garden. We did not pay for installation and it was relatively okay to build with 2 people, though there were not enough screws supplied (even compared to what was listen on the diagram). Also, the windows were almost impossible to secure to the point that we gave up. Very easy to break into I'm sure. The next day we had reasonably strong winds (though not a hurricane or anything so extreme) and the roof felt tore. I took photos and new felt was supplied, though forest garden refused to have someone change the felt themselves even though it was not our installation that was faulty, and we then had to spend another hour taking the ruined felt off and replacing it. Then, within only 2 weeks, the shed began to warp so much that I could fit my hand through the gaps. We contacted forest garden first, who said the wood was meant to warp naturally. I argued that this made it insecure but they insisted it was explained in the product description. I then contacted the Range who agreed with me that this warping was definitely not acceptable and after 2 long months I was finally granted a replacement by forest garden. They agreed to replace with a slightly smaller apex shiplap shed, less prone to warping, and because the shed price was cheaper they would offer dismantling, removal, redelivery and building of the new shed for free. (Initially they had suggested I dismantle the bad shed and would also be charged to have it put up. I refused this since we had not caused any of this damage and my time had already been wasted a great deal.) Another month since went by to finally get the shed delivered, with many miscommunications between myself, forest garden to deliver and service to dismantle and erect the shed. The overall service was SHOCKING and I am yet to find out whether my new shiplap shed will be much of an improvement. I would not recommend this company at all if you are looking forward to enjoying your garden, as they are simply a waste of both time and money. I will submit this review on every other site selling their products as I feel consumers should be warned. No other compensation for this debacle has been offered to me.

We bought a summer house from Forest Garden in May. When it arrived we engaged 2 professional joiners to construct it. The parts were so badly warped and stretched that, even with their expertise and equipment they had difficulty putting it together. Because of the poor quality of the pieces the rain poured in. We paid another joiner to try to repair it but the quality is just so poor that it, still leaks. We have never used it and we will, now have to pay someone to take it apart and dispose of it. In total the whole experience will have cost over £1500. The original cost of the summer house was £800. I have written to the company several times asking for some sort of help and they are completely disinterested. Do not waste your money with Forest Garden.

I only wish there was an option for zero stars. After paying over £800 FOR AN 8 X 6 shed, it is still leaning against the side of the house waiting to be erected. It was delivered over 3 weeks ago although the website states erection within 7 working days. It has warped which now means I have to change the panels around each day to try and straighten the warp out. The plastic for the windows is almost like cling film and even although I have asked, there is no floor. The wood is very cheap and construction of the shed is very poor indeed. Before you even think of purchasing a shed from garden forest, please use a cardboard box instead it will probably last longer

Ordered a garden bench. Lots of splintered bits, holes and rough edges. Complained and they supplied a new bench. Again a few splits and rough arm rests. Managed to build one out of the two. Possibly bad shipping or bad protective packaging Customer service good but would have liked more than 12hrs notice they were delivering the next day. Certainly won’t be using them again. Shame, as i like to support UK companies.

Disgraceful service! I ordered a play house and was told that it would be delivered on Friday between 12.57 - 15.57. I waited in and received a phone call from them at 15.56 to say that the driver had exceeded his hours and was not coming! Surely he would have known sooner that he could not possibly make it to my address in the time he had left instead of making me wait in for 3 hours and then phoning me to cancel with 1 minute of the allocated time remaining! This play house was my daughter's 6th birthday present, my husband was going to build it at the weekend for her party next weekend but now I'm told that I have to wait another week for a delivery slot (& after now reading other reviews I'm sure I would have got a call with a feeble excuse then too!) I spoke to them and they made absolutely NO attempt to rectify their incompetence and get the house to me sooner seen as it was a child's birthday present. Avoid using this company! I will be contacting Argos (who I ordered the house through) and explaining this 'service' to them as a third party supplier you are representing them too! Order cancelled.

Planter suitable for wheelchair users. This product is totally unfit for purpose. Joints that are supposed to be the same size are anything up to 1/2 inch different. Legs are not square, not one of them are right angles. The size of sides does not fit the frame. My husband is a skilled cabinet maker, so if he can’t put it together what chance do unskilled customers have. We have contacted Wonkee Donkee to complain and demand a refund. Are you aware your reviews on trust pilot are 2/10 for 108 reviews. Your product is rubbish.

Ordered twice from this company, and both times the items had to be returned for a refund as they were already broken on the van. Twice they tried to leave the broken items with me, but I refused twice as I don't want to be responsible for their crappy mess. I would not advice to order from this company, but unfortunately other companies use this company, so ordering something at Wickes might still come from this company.
