“I do not usually write reviews but I visited this reviews site soon after (yes, after!) placing our very first order with Furniture Village. We had placed our order online, after visiting the Ipswich Furniture Village, where we saw a lovely dining table set on offer. It was a late night purchase -- we have just moved into a new home with a toddler and our general exhaustion (and a couple of glasses of wine) meant that we did not do our usual due diligence of reading reviews prior to ordering. The following day, on reading the reviews here, both my wife and I were horrified and even contemplated cancelling our order immediately, but as we really liked the dining table set, we decided to "risk" it. Needless to say (from our 5 star rating) that we are extremely happy that we did not cancel our order. The after sales experience in our case was brilliant. We were contacted a few days after placing our order to arrange the delivery (the set we choose was marked for 14 days delivery). We agreed for the first available delivery slot and just 10 days after placing the order, we have our lovely dining table set delivered and installed in our dining room. The delivery personnel, who had driven down from Cambridge, were prompt, efficient and very pleasant -- I would go so far as to say it was a pleasure to deal with them. All in all, we have had an outstanding experience with Furniture Village.”

“Re. After my review of yesterday I had a prompt reply from Furniture Village. My furniture is to be delivered next week, dead on the 9 weeks estimation. This is the second time I have purchased from them and would definitely recommend them. Shame their phone system was on the blink when I tried to call. Thanks go to Phil and Josh at Preston for their help re the purchase. Mrs Dempsey”

“We purchased a Parker Knoll large sofa and armchair from Furniture Village, Jason and Katie gave an excellent quality service, very knowledgeable about the product we bought. Small problem with the chair but it has been resolved thanks to Katie, I would highly recommend Furniture Village and the service we received.”

“Ordered a suite from Furniture Village South Ruislip, when it was delivered it was not right, so went back to Furniture Village to see what they would do about it, I was expecting having dealt with similar retailers in the past the usual argument and refusal to help, however the response I got from the store manager Yatin could not have proved me more wrong. He worked extremely hard and professionally to resolve the issue and in the end we chose a different suite which is great. Because of my experience I will always make Furniture Village my first stop for furnishings and would recommend the store to others.”

“Following on from my bad review of the shoddy service I received from Homeserves. I now should amend and leave a positive review. I went into Furniture Village Hill this morning and they explained about their Phone problems and could empathise. The manager was brilliant he listened to my problems took on board my dissatisfaction and the problems. He is going to look at the problems and get a second opinion that won't involved homeserve. Oh and Hannah on messenger was also amazing in getti g me the report from Honeserve”

“We went to Furniture Village yesterday to buy a sofa, a very nice sales person named Christine helped us to make a decision, she was honest and didn’t push us to buy, she was just providing the fact then leave you to decide freely. We bought two 3 seater sofas. Christine also made us a lovely hot chocolate 😊 very nice lady, very polite, not pushy and surely a great asset to the company.”

“We bought 2 two seater sofas, just over two years ago. One of them has developed a list to port on the left hand seat. Despite having the repair people come, we were told by the experts, that these seat squabs would always start to sink, even after as short a time as a few weeks, and after two years this would be expected, and it was our problem because we sat on the seat and leaned on the arm! Thus causing the seat squab to collapse on that edge! Luckily Furniture Village Poole has decided that this is not acceptable and have offered to replace the seat completely. I cannot ask more than that. Full marks Furniture Village Poole. Problem resolved.”

“We found Christine very helpful when we purchased our 3 piece suite today. She was professional and helpful without being pushy, allowing us to make the right choice. The coffee and cookies helped and were tasty. We enjoyed chatting about our dogs while doing a comfort test.”

“We were very well looked after by Aliciya after being to 2 other well known stores and getting fed up with the pushy salesmen. The staff at furniture village are not at all pushy and left us to discuss and reflect before we purchased. Very pleased with everything”

“I had my 2 new sofas delivered today. They arrived precisely within the time frame detailed at the point of ordering. They contacted us a week before to advise of the delivery date. We told them we’d be out that afternoon, and so they accommodated our requirements with a 2hr delivery window 8-10. They rang at 8am to advise the delivery drivers would be with me in 20mins. The delivery men (Richard and Guy) were very friendly, and professional. My sofa was assembled very swiftly and a full explanation of the controls etc was afforded. They were very careful and considerate of both my home (putting up protective padding on the door surrounds), and my toddler who was eager to help!! The sofas arrived in perfect condition. I can see there are a lot of unhappy customers that have left their reviews but I’m pleased to report I’m not one of them! Thanks Furniture Village Norwich.”

“I came into the Peterborough store this evening looking for a sofa , I was approached by someone who worked in there called Christine who was very friendly and helpful and not at all pushy like you get in some other stores . We have ordered our new sofas and were entirely happy with the service we received , thank you”

“This is the first time using Furniture village and I must say I had a great experience and the delivery drivers (Mark and Simon) could not have been more helpful. I wanted to post a review as reading the numerous 1 star reviews almost caused me to doubt my purchase with furniture village but I am glad I decided to try out their service. I ordered our table and chairs, which had a lead time of 28 days (was only given as a guide) but I received a call to arrange a delivery within 2 weeks. The date was confirmed and I received a call on the day to book in a time slot and Mark and Simon arrived to setup my furniture. Judging by some of the reviews I may have been lucky as they were professional, friendly and built my furniture with no issues. If Furniture Village are listening and are looking to improve their customer service then asking Mark and Simon to show others the way would be my recommendation. Will use Furniture Village again.”

“Bought a bed which was only available online. They arranged the delivery, assembled the bed and were very respectful in the house. Love the bed. I felt comfortable getting it online without seeing it and wasn't disappointed. Very good quality product.”
