ordered furniture middle of february, delay after delay not being delivered until middle of April. said would be 4 weeks. why r u still advertising the same furniture with a two week. delivery ??????????

After sales service simply does not exist. Furniture village are happy to sell you their products but are definitely not interested should anything go wrong once delivered. I would not recommend this company.

Do not buy a bed from here, we spent £6000 and got delivered a mattress that’s completely out of shape. No body came out for weeks and the guy that came out said the bed was off the scale and he had never seen a bed so bad, we’re now a month later and they are now ignoring us and we can physically not sleep on the bed. To add on top we were told to get a more expensive mattress as it was the only one that worked on an electric ottoman, when it’s delivered we are then told actually that information was wrong and this mattress doesn’t work with the bed. The worst customer service I have ever received. And still without a bed. After spending £6000.

Do not touch this Company with a… Do not touch this Company with a bargepole. It takes no regard to Sale of Goods Act legislation that expects products to last, and be fit for purpose and they hide behind their own "guarantees" I bought this very attractive Study Chair in November 2020, and over the last 6 months the faux leather covering has split and frayed on the seat itself and the arms. I have written to the Company both to their service centre, and their owner/CEO Peter Harrison, sending pictures. Rather than try to help a dissatisfied customer they simply hide behind their 2 year guarantee. By their actions they are de facto saying that their furniture, and this chair in particular will only last 2 years. I'm now off to the Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman to complain, and sit outside their largest and newest Store with my picture placard to show people thinking of going in. I'm a Citizens Advice Bureau Advisor and am not going to give up this fight. My previous chair from John Lewis lasted me 20 years and I only discarded it to match my new study decor. Unbelievable treatment of their customers by this Company. Look it up on line, it's the East River Pier 17 office chair in Cream and sells for a whopping £469, reduced from £629!!

Avoid this chain. We purchased a 3 seater recliner and we can't recline it as the footrests overlap. We reported the issue, someone came out who wasn't able to fix it and we were told we'd have someone follow up. That was months ago and nothing. Disgraceful

In the process of complaining, bought sofas and a chair, after waiting since November it was delivered, except the chair as they couldn't find it in the warehouse. 24hrs after delivery we noticed the sagging leather, puckered seats, I've had leather sofas for 40 odd years and this is the worst suite i have ever had, I called immediately and sent photos in, this suite was £5000. They sent our an assesser, he came Thursday, one week after delivery and only 5 days after the missing chair arrived. He sat on part of one sofa that had not been say on, aftet he stood up it was all seated. I'm not sure where i stand now but i want it collected and a full refind of my deposit. I called the finance company, they suggest I wait til the report comes in then go back to them and they will put on a report to Furniture Village, i wish i had nevet got rid of my old one, which was far superior and half the price. Any suggestions would help.

Bought a bed from furniture Village, in the paper work it said it would be guaranteed for 10 year, after 2 year the mattresses is sagging and not fit for purpose, after paying £1449.00 for geltouch 3000 sleepeezee and sending photos from the gateshead furniture Village one of the staff sent the photos from my phone to the care team, same day the care team phoned to say they could do nothing as I had been sitting on the bed, I explained the matteress was totally sagging right around the mattress and I had to sit on the bed to get into the bed. Then he said it was a manufacture fault. They won't send someone out to have a look at the matteress. He said he would contact the manufacture and phone us back in a few days. Nest step section 75 if he does not phone back, please be careful when parting with money and buying from this company.

The store in Ruislip has a good selection of furniture and we purchased some dining room items but delivery cost is pretty steep so keep that in mind, otherwise, good choice of furniture in general.

Purchased 2 three seater cozy range in 2021 Sofa in shop looked good quality, I purchased a sofa from them in 2008, good quality, lasted well I only replaced as wanted a 3 seater sofa. However this is poor quality, back padding all gone flat, on the arms you can feel a board, padding very thin. I had an inspection normal wear apparently, this was after 1 year. Cost 2.5 K for two sofas. Do not buy from them rubbish

Very poor customer service including the delivery telephone service. We bought a sofa, dinning set and foot stool from furniture village lakeside first weekend of December 2023. We were told that we shall have the sofa and dinning table delivered before Christmas and the foot stool between 9-11 weeks. The sofa was delivered before Christmas but the other items have not yet been delivered up to now. We contacted the store before Christmas as we were told they will speak to the delivery company to ensure we get it as promised. We were reassured that it with the delivery company awaiting to be loaded onto the truck. We contacted the delivery company and we were told that they didn’t have the dinning set and that according to their system, it will be out for delivery on 27th January. We waited again, nothing came. We logged in online to track the order, only to see that they have been pushed to February 15th. We were expecting a text today to confirm delivery but nothing came through. We logged in again and the delivery has been pushed to 21st March. No communication from the store at all! No care for their customers at all which is really absurd. I think it is within our rights to use customer rights as they have breeched the contract. We will be in touch. This is the last time we purchase anything again from furniture village due to very poor customer service.

less than 24 hours after delivery and the sofa is already looking in bad condition. wow what a dreadful company to deal. a sofa delivered less than 24 hours ago and already there loose chunks of leather. the sofa is totally non supportive and gives horrific back pain as the seat base doesn't offer any support and sinks down. should you try and use the foot stool your legs are supported by your body sinks down into the seat creating your body to curve which is going to give back pain and spinal damage in the long run. customer service is zero. they do not answer the phone in store giving all manner of excuses. many answer phone messages left and never one returned. shame on you furniture village your leeds store is an embarssment to the industry. a rude store manager evasive in giving the guarantees we asked for claiming the settee had a spec upgrade. clearly it hasn't its totally unfit for purpose and impossible to sit and relax on.

wow there service is so poor and the product sold a nightmare. upon ordering sofa and trying to cancel it we were spoken to very rudely by store staff and a store manager who was evasive in providing the product guarantees we requested it comes as no surprise one day after delivery we have now requested the goods to be uplifted for a full refund. the sofa is of poor quality and one day after having it its the most uncomfortable sofa Thant sinks. the leather is not tight so theres no lumps of loose leather 24 hours after delivery. the seat base sinks giving terrible back and hip pain. it comes as no surprise the manager was evasive in providing the guarantees as he knew the product was problematic. well unless we are refunded a section 75 claim will be done. whilst the store continues to offer the rude service and its clear there only interested in targets as opposed to good customer service this one company I would not buy from again. if I could upload the photos on here I would do. THIS IS ONE BUSINESS TO AVOID. THEY MISS SELL GOODS AND OFFER EXCEPTIONALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. they do not answer the phone in store and when you ask why nobody answers the phone you get excuses of staff members being off. 30 phone calls many answer phone messages left and never a phone call returned. hang your heads in shame furniture village your the pits of retailer.

AVOID BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE A DISGRACE AND NOT TO BE TRUSTED. I bought a Sofa Delight sofa bed and raised a complaint about the mattress being too small at the time of delivery and have been arguing the case for 3 years! We were assured that the mattress would "settle" given time, which was deemed impossible by an employee who came out in response to the initial complaint. Store colleagues described the mattress as ridiculously small for that sofa bed. It is significant that we were originally assured in the Tunbridge Wells store that the large Sofa Delight is a full double bed, which is why we went ahead with the purchase. Their own website stated that “This is not your average sofa bed experience, the pocket sprung Hypnos Kingsclere mattress on the sprung and slatted base offers superior, luxurious, king size comfort”. We already had a smaller sofa bed and bought this one in the belief that the mattress was 54”/double bed size, as the salesman specifically informed us. Not the truth. The mattress is only 51" and leaves the slats exposed. I had been told this matter would be resolved but after so many emails, phone calls and photographs they have now changed their tune and said there is nothing they are prepared to do. I feel so let down and wish I had never bought from a company who takes your money but accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any faults in their products. A terrible waste of £1500. Do not be another victim of miss-selling and dire customer services. Shop elsewhere.

I purchased a Romilly sofa in November, within three weeks I complained that the fabric on the sofa looked old already, all puckered up and creased. I live alone and im the only one to have sat on it. I was asked to send pictures to them so that they could get in touch with the manufacturer Emmiera, and they would get in touch with me by e mail, they never did. The next thing I know I was being told that a new cusion had been ordered and would be delivered within 8 weeks. It turned up unanounced and I refused it as this isnt want I wanted. I contacted customer services told them I wasnt happy with this option and that I wanted someone to come here and see what the issue was. I told them that its a quality issue and their answer to me was that if the Emmiera representative came out and states there is no quality issues then that would be the end of it. Nowhere else to go with the complaint. I found the woman totally disrespectful and rude and had no care for how I felt about the product. I paid £1595 for this sofa, its in gold and looked lovely in the showroom. Don't waste your money it looks old already and its been in my home for 8 weeks Disgusting customer service

Avoid this company, I placed an order at the York store over 8 weeks ago, chased up my order today to be told the manager didn’t honour the order as their sales representative had agreed a price that was too low, very unprofessional and unethical company !

Bought the Ariana sofa 2 setter, snuggle chair and large stool that February. After 2 weeks had to get the cushions replaced as they had sunk . Brought new inserts, same happened again . They are not filling the cushions with filling. Back cushions so uncomfortable. To hard and now suffer with terrible back neck and back . £3500 waisted. still on finance , absolutely awful . Looks lovely but it’s not fit for purpose, don’t buy from these

Sofas not fit purpose and dangerous then aftercare service very rude and mislead you they are a nightmare to deal with no communication unless you chase them. Avoid this company and their products at all costs

Extremely poor quality of sofa , the foam lost its resilience with in few months. Furniture village complimentary insurance neither external insurance cover this issue. Not sure where to go . The finance is still outstanding and the sofas are ready to be discarded as no longer comfortable to sit on. Give me bad back !
