very poor service they are full of lies still waiting for my delivery I will never buy anything from them again

Horrendous experience with a damaged ‘Oak’ table, not yet 10 months old and already peeling. Informed by customer service agent that we had damaged the item by putting heated plates onto the surface, yet the manufacturers report says it’s built to withstand heat, despite this we always have and always do use mats or a table cloth to protect every time the table is in use. Something that I was able to show the ‘technician’ when he came to view and take a couple of photos. Avoid this company!

I purchased a home corner suite from furniture village unfortunately it rates as the worst sofa we have had in 35 years The service in store was ok but they want the sale I have called people out to inspect it but they say it’s a characteristic of the sofa well if this means after not even a year the material stretching the foam sagging and general appearance not good then this is not a good characteristic to have I personally would not purchase from this store again I am having to pad out the cushions my self to help try and make it look half decent

hi bought a wardrobe on August 26 , after numerous calls, finally got a delivery . however the parts were incorrect. so after 3 months and a useless after sales service i may now have to wait another 6-8 weeks for it to be fitted by them, half a year waiting for a wardrobe is not acceptable. after sales support is a complete failure. I will never buy from them again ever. anyone that does after reading these reviews then it serves them right

Ordered a table and 6 chairs from them back in September. Was promised delivery week commencing 25th. This week past and heard nothing from them. Tried ringing multiple times and calls just go to voicemail. The after sale service is so poor, they just fight for the sale and anything after that they couldn’t care less. Still waiting for a delivery date, only god know when this will be and what date we will actually be given. Company makes false promises. We have sold our existing furniture 2 weeks ago to make room for our new furniture. It seems we will be eating Christmas dinner off our laps this year. We have had no offer of compensation for the extreme poor service and am totally disappointed with this company and we haven’t even got our furniture yet. Seriously thinking of cancelling our order as we have lost all confidence that this company gives you what they promise

Don't believe a word they tell you, they'll tell you anything to get your money. Promised 3 weeks delivery, chased after 5 weeks and then told it would be another 6 weeks. Complete liars, if you are after prompt delivery or an ethical company avoid these *****.

Within 3mths, the leather has puddled on the chaise seating cushion to the point where you can literally pick the leather up with your hand. It looks extremely unsightly as the 2 other seat cushions don't share the same issue. 3 pics attached showing how extreme one of the seats are compared to the other 2. We advised FV of this and a technician was sent out to inspect the sofa. His report stated the cushions, frame and springs were all in good order and the puddling leather was natural. Today, FV rang me to say there's nothing wrong with the sofa and to 'dress' the leather every time we sit up from it by flattening out all of the sagging to make it look presentable. Not what you'd expect from a £2k investment within 3mths. The puddling/stretched leather and the need to regularly dress it was NEVER spoken of when we were in the showroom purchasing the sofa. Avoid this style of sofa unless you want i to look 3yrs old within 3mths. FV have fobbed us off and said it's natural wear and tear.

Order numbers 272757521 and 272757594 bought at Norwich Store We bought two wardrobes in July , they finally arrived 31st October. They put one together but couldn't do the other as it didn't come with all the parts ! NO email from your company to advise us when they'd be coming back to rectify this. The staff at the store aren't able to advise us to when the contract will be completed. We had arranged to have a new carpet laid the following week, the result 75% carpet laid The doors on the wardrobes don't shut right up to the frames and a drawer needs adjustment as it screeches/grinds when opened and closed. We would like someone in authority to advise, instead of passing the buck. We need this contract completed!

bought a piccalo 3 seater and after just 9 months delivered in January 2019 one cushion collapsing so you can nearly feel frame bellow we have no children just two 70 year old living in house no children bouncing around on it

Hi. Like everyone has said so far that when you go in store they are all after you to get a sale off you but when it comes to after sales service...well it may as well not exist or brand the company as being from the third world country as it hasn't got the British Western culture it was once meant to have taking pride in its service. Bought sofas and the one side of the furniture came wrong and in fair play the drivers were excellent (they should be promoted to replace the management as they were very polite and sympathetic) but no top managers followed up with phone calls to say they were sorry and would look into not just rectifying the situation asap but also compensate us in way of fuel as we had a fair distance to travel from Newport to Bristol but also throw in a rug or something to keep us as a loyal customer and perhaps refer others to the store....really...Hmmmm!!! As yet, and it has been a few weeks and a big fat ZERO for after sales service.....ZILCH for service. A shame that in UK we have service like this...I feel sorry for the Owner of the company as long as he too is not involved in the careless service. A very dissatisfied couple. Had no choice but to give it one star as you have no choice to give minus stars!!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE, RUDE STAFF AND NO CUSTOMER AFTERCARE: Spend close to £15K in Furniture Village Watford, had loads of items arrive faulty and replaced, including power sofas and lighting,etc. It’s been 11 months since I put the order in, there were problems with the sofa twice and the lighting they sell, I asked for help to deal with the issues, not only the problems are not solved, the staff was utter arrogance and rude ignorant. He seemed to be very un-helpful and defensive. I still left with the problem, and cost me more to fix the issues. PLEASE BE WARNED – they are friendly and pushy when you buy from them, the good reviews from the customers were those without problems, however, should you have any issues, ‘ZERO’ support will be get from them and leave the mess you will deal with it. A VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER AND WE WILL NOT GOING BACK TO THIS STORE OR ANY OTHER STORES DUE TO THIS EXPERIENCE

Terrible aftercare service. Terrible quality. Sofa delivery was delayed and when it arrived the sofa was nothing like in the showroom. The chaise (Chill range) has too much stuffing in it and the back cushions collapse as soon as you lean on them. Called FV Watford 4 times without anyone calling me back or trying to resolve the issue. Had to go into store in the end, and when I explained my issue they were aware of other customers having similar problems. 4 months after ordering, the problem is still not resolved.

The staff in the York store are smug, arrogant and the most unprofessional, unhelpful bunch of people I have ever had the misfortune to come across. There are plenty of other furniture stores alongside this one, I would recommend you go to any of them!

I purchased a piece of bedroom furniture by phone, when it arrived(in perfect condition) it was unsuitable, so made a phone call, well 2 to be precise, and the item was picked up within days, and after a phone call regarding refund, it was done within minutes, a full refund, good customer service

Chris at the Bristol branch very helpful and friendly.Just had delivery of leather sofa & chair on time given,also delivery men job well done. Only annoyance now was being charged £30 for floor protectors in store when placing order not realising at the time,they are nothing special ,which I thought for that price .Looks the same in b & q £3-62 pkt of 8 Just checked online.
