Autosaint car insurance are genuinely the worst car insurance company I have ever come across. First of all, they charged me a fortune to change my car details.. about two hours after I took out the policy and before they'd even installed the telematics box! At this point I wanted to cancel but was told I would not be able to get all of my deposit back. As a young and new driver who had saved hard to pay for insurance, I couldn't afford to lose any of my insurance deposit! They did not tell me that there was a mileage cap and that this would be ridiculously low that i'd have to spend hundreds of pounds on extra mileage. Now I want to change my address, and my payment date as I have a new job with a new payday and don't want to miss a direct debit installment. They want to charge £60 for the change of address, £60 for the change to the date, plus £335 to change my address! They won't add this on to my installments so I have a day to come up with the funds or my car insurance will be cancelled with the remaining installments due in one lump sum. I could also cancel my policy for a cool £289 plus £70 to have the telematics box removed. Not to mention the 29 minutes on hold to their premium rate number with the operator regularly putting me on hold with no warning. PLEASE do not go with this company, I've never felt so stressed and worried about what I'm going to do. They are a disgraceful company and they're totally exploiting new and young drivers.

Takes ridiculous time to get through on phones every time you need to sort your systems out! you are un pleasant, unhelpful to youngsters that don't know how it works you take advantage !!!!!! would never ever consider using you again ever

This company are a bunch of crooks that should be kicked of comparrison sites . Lure you in with a cheap quote online and then get you to ring them (because they will not ring you) and then transform your quote in to something completely different. Online quote £1581 turned into 2800 by the time they had added conditions and changed excess from 450 to 750! Believe what you jave read about them i wouldnt want my life in this bunch of crooks hands

Terrible company with no help at all! Was the cheapest policy until you had to change something or update something. My annual mileage is 12K and I'm paying a policy of £2300+ per year now! Won't do anything to help or resolve the hike on my insurance premium. They claim to be 40% cheaper than all other insurers however in my case they're 40% more expensive. STAY FAR AWAY

This company is absolutely AWFUL! Definitely would not recommend!!! For a start they had hidden admin fees and extra charges for when i wanted to move my policy over to my new car, which totaled near enough an extra £300, for a car that would be cheaper to insure. They didn't want to know when I had accident. On the phone they passed me through other places, such as ladybird, even though I was 100% with autosaint. Then the quoted me a renewal price, but throw on an extra £400 for an accident that I didn't officially claim for as the accident as it wasn't my fault. Now they have said it has affected my years no claims, even know I never claimed. Ridiculous! Customer service is terrible!! They have you on hold for ages and when you finally get through they say we will have to call you back tomorrow, and they don't. Overall, this company is SH*T!

Awful company with absolutely no concern for providing even a halfway decent service. They will take your money and not even provide you with a service and try to justify this by hiding behind their contract and using insurance jargon. There isnt even a customer relations team. My advice is definitely go with someone else for you insurance, even if they seem cheaper it will end up costing you in the long run.

Took out my first year insurance at 1600 and had one claim. I then had my window smashed and was told this would not affect my policy so I went through them to get my window fixed. I rang up for a renewal and was told this was a second claim on my policy so my insurance for my second year had gone up to 1900 despite being told it would not affect it! Every time I ring they can take between 20-40 minutes to answer. I transferred the last month of my policy as I got a new car and I had to pay 240 to have a new box fitted yet was told the box in my old car would be put to 'sleep' which obviously shows that they are not bothered about the box! When I made my 'second claim' I was told that it was reported by a solicitors when I had reported the claim myself and no one had any details of the first claim I made when I rang up to find out about it. I recently found out you have to pay to gain access to the details of your telematics box at the end of your policy yet this doesn't even seem to be taken into consideration as my score was 99%! They also quoted a higher renewal rate referring me to another company when online I found a quote of 1400 from autosaint themselves! If you e-mail them you may wait 2 weeks for a reply if they ever respond.

DO NOT INSURE WITH AUTO SAINT..THEY ARE THE DEVIL IN DISGUISE !!!!!! Atrocious customer service !!! When you ring they keep you on hold and keep telling you that you be answered in 5 minutes this kept going you will be answered in 5 minutes until I gave up after 30 minutes.!! They were supposed to fit the Black box to my daughters car.. I took a day off work to wait in and get it done they never came. N E V E R I N S U R E W I T H T H I S C O M P A N Y !!!

This insurers is a joke! It may seem all cheap at the start but they have hidden costs all over, for things like, changing a date one day later to pay, swapping cars over after an accident, new box fitted in new car even tho they told me to get rid of old car with old box in it, and many more! Ridiculous.. Sent me a letter saying I had gone over my millage and had to pay £430 5 days before saying they were going to cancel it, prior to that I tried contacting them about my millage and they did not pick up! Tried ringing them for 2 weeks straight and an hour at a time for phone calls... Stupid! Don't ever go with them, waste of time money and effort even if it's cheap at first!!! Disgusted!!!

Avoid at all cost, worst insurance ever, everything was fine until I had a crash was not at my fault but have made no attempt to help me at all it happened in August and now its January and they still haven't had a reply, they actually told me they have no financial interest. Never even called me once and every time I call them it is at the same situation as before. Never ever go with them again

Do not insure with this company, avoid like the plague, I have had nothing but trouble with them since insuring in May 2015, their staff all have the intelligence of a poodle and I doubt any of them could run a bath let alone an insurance company, they constantly tell you that they're going to cancel your insurance policy over something you've done when in actual fact 10 times out of 10 it's because they've had an admin error, spoke to a man called Dave Morgan the other day who assured me my direct debits were all correctly set up and I would hear no more from them, along comes Monday morning where I am being told my direct debits were not set up correctly by this little c#%t and I had missed a payment that was due 6 days before the direct debit was even due (how is this possible) I then asked to speak to a supervisor as I assumed he may have just a little bit more intelligence (wishful thinking) being a supervisor Dave Morgan then put me on hold for 10 mins while he spoke with his supervisor and came back to tell me his supervisor agreed with him (not what I asked) even though I had asked to speak to him personally. I was then told he would call me back before 5pm and that he was all of a sudden rushed into a meeting (Yh right). The customer service from this company is shocking and they will do anything to con you out of money they have absolutely no remorse and they will never apologise when they're wrong, my phone bill was £125.74 this month just from being on hold for the majority of the time, I have been on hold for more than 45 minutes at a time in more than one occasion, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS CONPANY.

My daughter went over Milage and they wanted 400 pounds more for extra 3 thousand miles do not go with them they will rip u off.scamming little gits

Absolutely dreadful! Like most people I was lured in with a cheap quote and once I rang up giving my details in, I sent them a copy of my driving license and then received an email saying I lied about when I got my provisional license (not when I passed my test or when I started driving literally just when I got it) and told me I had to pay an extra £300. Now I've just been told I'll have to pay an extra £500 to get more miles on the policy. Terrible company, pay the little extra and avoid all these extra costs they throw in

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!! I have had endless problems, complete scam wouldn't recommend to anyone. When looking for provisional learning insurances in February of this year, Autosaints offered me a years policy so that if I passed my test at any point of the year (which I had booked, and passed, the follow month) I could just ring and they'd change it to full licence FREE of charge. This worked out the cheapest and most reasonable. I had a box fitted to the dash in my car a few weeks following which recorded my speed, acceleration and braking and an allowance of 8,000 miles a year, within just 8 months of checking the dashboard moniter saying My driving was "excellent", I recieved a letter saying I had almost hit my mileage allowance and if I did not add more they'd have no other choice but to cancel my policy. I then rang and was charged £500 to add an extra 5,000 miles on to my allowance. On the 2nd of December, 2 months before I would expect to get my first years no claim, I received a letter in a plain white envelope with no evidence that it has been tracked, the letter inside stated "Following previous warning that you are one of the worst drivers that we insure, we have again recieved your driving behaviours and unfortunately as it hasn't improved to the standards required, WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO CANCEL YOUR POLICY AS OF 09/12/15" after endless phones calls to find a reason why, I finally got through with no help and claims that they had tried contacting me to warn me that this would happen through phonecalls, post and email to both me and my parents, we received NONE of this!!!! After arguing this and that my overall driving score on my dashboard box was at 98% they refused to reassess the situation and advised me to cancel to policy myself before they declare it for me. I wish I had payed that little bit extra to get insured elsewhere.

Never never use this insurance company. They are stealing money. Applied for insurance £1600 per year. I payed £350 deposit and £160pm. Had insurance with already 2 months and then they decided that i must pay additional £1800 in 7 days or my policy will be cancelled. I am not crazy so i told thet I not gonna pay it and told you can cancel. After cancelation i didn't get any money back and was asked to pay some outstanding £186.97. So 2 months insurance costed me about £600
