Hard to get in touch, they dont respond to emails, first email I got said somebody will get back to me within 45 days!!! Yes 45 days!!! Not 4-5days,45 fuck*ng days. I ve to pay the excess despite it being not my fault. And they took my NCD of me 3 weeks before renewal despite the accident not being my fault. People on the phone seem so arrogant and not interested at all.

I rang to report an accident just over a week ago. I waited nearly an hour to get through. when I finally did, the office had closed, and a call handler took my details and said someone would ring me back the next day. Nothing since, and I've been unable to get a response since. I have never had cause to claim on car insurance before, and had no idea it would be this stressful. If I ever get through to anyone and get this sorted I know I will be looking elsewhere for my car insurance when it is due for renewal

Very Bad Customer Service Need to make a clam 10 August 2016 so call them up i got the run round i had to phone 5 times and then for them to not send out the right forms for me to fell out. they did not take in my complaint .of that had to call in many times and they did not they said over the phone i was cover and then said i need a dr. form for my dr. sing which he did and stamp then the Customer Service said i was lying over phone which i said i was not or dr. would not have it dr. sing the form for them to see then they said we need need to see dr. doctors medical reports which they got then they said because i said i was not 100 % when see my dr. on day i got home when i was going fly for my holiday they would not pay out on my claim this has taken 16 weeks i have chatted to ombudsman and they have said this is not right and that 21 December that need a answer for my claim this means this has taken 17 weeks for me get claim look at and this not right i would not recommend any one to use AXA Travel Insurance or cover wise .co.uk they will use any way not pay you and delay your claim as much as possible and put you off as much as they i have made over 15 calls to cover wise and AXA Travel Insurance to try and get what i took my Insurance out for i hope this dose not happen to any one else 17 weeks of stress is not right for any to have go trough to get there claim look at and and for AXA Travel Insurance cover wise to give you what you pay for when you don't know what is going to happen in life.

Got a good deal online for my car insurance. Now for the last 4 days I have been trying to get in touch with then. Spent hours on the phone still haven't been able to speak to someone yet. Was even cut off after the first ring. Have also sent emails still haven't received replies. Excuse: very busy that little voice says every 2 minutes. Clearly there is a problem there. Unacceptable. If they can't cope with the work load they should be looking for a cleaning job or employ more staff instead of tarnishing a world reputable company. I know who I will be with when I need to renew my insurance...not with them!

If I could give zero to this company and I would. Drove home from their garage after they had repaired my car after an accident and car broke down on the way home. Called them back to take my car and they refused to fix it..I had a loss of about 5 thousand pounds to repair my vehicle....never go with axa .

Will never go with Axa again! Brought home insurance, when it was re newal time they sent plenty of emails and letters saying we were renewing however failed to tell me how much the new policy was. When I called to get a price and then cancel I was told I did not need to do anything else as I said I was going else where. Have now been inform they are charging me half of the years premium for cancelling!

Had an accident and did manage to log it however as for trying to arrange a courtesy car which I pay for in my policy and trying to arrange for the relevant repairs to take place is basically impossible, I have rang 6 times to be placed on hold listening to terrible music for a minimum of 47 minutes and some calls took beyond an hour and then I got cut off! if I made them wait for their DD every month I'm certain they would be pissed off too?!

Complete waste of time and money the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with had an accident four days ago still waiting after several promises for somebody to collect my car and leave a courtesy car I have phoned several times and spoken to five different people this is after hanging on hold for 40 minutes each time I have emailed all the addresses I can find again no responsePlease take my advice and spend your money elsewhere

I have been on the phone for days as hit a deer on the 17th November 2016 and need to make a claim but have been put through to various departments but my claim has still not been logged. Even phoned complaints at customer service and that was an answer phone. Phoned various numbers. Has anyone got any suggestions as need my car fixed. Ombudsman said they have 8 weeks to reply so thats a waste of time. Lloyd Nembhard

If there was an option to give no stars I wouldn't even give one star! I had a car accident 4 days ago and despite numerous attempts to contact axa I have still not been able to. I resorted to sending emails from the first day and calling was pointlessly after listening to music for one hour the line just cuts off! My policy includes a courtesy car and I have been without a car to date. Please do yourself a favour stay away!!

My husband had an accident he wasn't seriously hurt but his car needed to Be towed we was told they would be there within 4. Hours so we waited and waited 5 hours later called them up and the office was closed so we went home I called the next morning to ask what happened and nothing had been logged for the car to be taken and one for us to take so again waited for around 3 hours then to our horror that hadn't sorted us a courtesy car so waited on the phone for another hour to get through to be told we can have a car but would be a fiat 500 that would be fine for a person or a normal height but my husband is 6ft8 and 19stone When we said this to the person on the phone they basically said not my problem went to the garage to collect the car and the man said I'm sorry I can't give you this car as you won't fit in it which me and my husband new anyway so finally got a car that he fits in now waiting to find out weather our car is a right off week and a half later we didn't hear a thing from them and we have a holiday approaching so I called them to say about it and then they said I have to bring the car back cause I are not allowed to take it on holiday with you i finally give up arguing with these people but I do warn everyone DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMAPANY!!!

Proof of no claims bonus went to AXA junk mail. Without any further correspondence, they cancelled my insurance. This left me driving at risk for several weeks. They have not accepted my evidence of their response email and have not provided any proof of trying to contact me. Do not insure with this company.

Upon receipt of an email saying my NCD needs proof and notification from axa saying approx £300 would be debited from my account in 3-5 working days, it was infact taken twice the next day, AFTER proof of NCD was given. Almost £600 was taken unlawfully from my account immediately, and I am now told that I have to wait up to next Tuesday (1 week) for this to be back in my account. Not acceptable and extreme inconvenience has been caused.

Had an accident Sunday, have rung the claims line 5 times, been kept on hold for an average of half an hour each time, only got through once - this was after 9pm, and was not the actual Axa claims line but a third party they employ to manage out of hours calls - these people simply take down your details to pass on to Axa who should then ring you back the next day (obviously they haven't) - this kind of makes a mockery of their website claim to have a 24 hours claims line. It is now 5 days after my accident and the company I have paid a full 12 months insurance premium to have not supported me in any way at all. Meanwhile the other party admitted liability (I am very lucky here - just think if she hadn't), informed her insurance - CHURCHILL - VERY NICE PEOPLE - on Sunday night, on Monday morning they contacted me - arranged for my car to be repaired and provided a hire car for me. My real feelings about Axa are probably not publishable however - insurance companies should be subject to some consequences of this level poor customer service.
