Dissapointed, had a renewal quote over the phone, which although it had gone up a lot on previous year, I accepted. When you took the full payment out of my bank , you took an extra £45.00 above my verbal quote. After a phone call to your office I did get a return of my 45.00, but I should not had to do this. Think next year I will shop around.

Take to long to sort out claim get pass to many people and end up going round in circles. Still not sorted my claim out give up with them . Would not recommend the company

Original quote was competitive. I called to sort it out and all was ok. Then I get a message saying that I wasn’t set up to automatically pry, so I get charged an extra £20 and now my cost is more than other companies? Why was I not told until it was too late, so that I had to pay a penalty?

No complaints, easy to deal with and I renewed so that says a lot. One gripe - twice asked for paper copies of documents and never received them. All in all would recommend, but it will cost you a printer!

The price was OK so I let the policy roll over from last year. I hadn’t realised that I had not updated my payment to a new card and Budget charged me £20 late payment, thus making the insurance expensive. Not very happy .

Good price and value (even if not claimed) however been given £5.00 Argos voucher to say thank you ! However when went to use I down loaded and the voucher did not exist !!! Very disappointed as I was about to use (embarrassed was I ) Maybe in future just take £5.00 off premiums!

I feel my insurance is far to high and should be looked at to find a more realistic cost for my insurance I have been with you for a long time now and feel I deserve a better price Can someone contact me to discuss this please Charles Stewart

I have been a customer for many a year and haven't needed to claim during these many years on any of the three vehicles on cover. We recently disposed of one vehicle and now wished to add a new one in our company's name but were told that they didn't provide cover for this Peugeot Expert 1.6 diesel. Why not do they only cherry pick vehicles they like the look of? Very Disappointed. Alan

Increased my premium by £250 automatic renewal and as an existing customer I should have paid more attention as loyalty has cost me. Poor service and punishment for loyalty will not keep customers.

Price is one of the best which is why I chose it. When it comes down to pay outs? Well, that started out as questionable. Sydni was awful. I think she may have been promised a salary rise or promotion if she could do her best to deny a pay out. Maybe a clash of personalities but as the honest, understandably anxious (water escape in my beloved cottage), kind and compassionate human being that I am, I don’t think I’m far off the mark. I could not stomach dealing with her. I designated a friend to take over the communications. After two years of negotiations I was able to secure a pay out that was close enough to cover my losses. Kitchen slate floor tile replacement, garden decking replacement, both partial. Emergency call out for water escape crisis. Very hard work trying to claim. I could not have done it without my friend’s intervention and assistance. I understand from her that an employee called Alex took over from Sydni. Alex was a breath of fresh air. Yes I received the final pay out via her, but more than that, she was human. Her telephone manner, personality, understanding was second to none. As a result of Alex I decided to renew with Budget Insurance.

As much as they are cheap the renewal quote only saved me little from the previous year, forgetting about calling them to cancel is the only reason I'm still with them... not next year, I could have saved myself over £200 on the annual premium... Worth shopping about and seeing what's out there. Customer service is meh!, prices are average and everything is via email which is OK if savvy, not good if you do not know what you are doing...

Yes well,,,I feel very safe with budget ,,,budget do look after there customers,,,in lock down I thort my budget insurance had lapst,,budget was still looking after there customers

My insurance went up £60. I drove fewer than 2000 miles last year due to lockdown. Not particularly happy.

Budget bombards you with calls when you are due for renewal, so many calls??? not necessary

As with all insurance companies, Budget does not reward customer loyalty. My insurance was hiked up quite substantially on renewal. Sick of having to phone up and request a better deal, so will be switching companies ASAP. Shame, as customer service agents are always super friendly. Just fed up with being shafted on price each year.

Raising a premium for no reason after 1 year no claims during a pandemic, says it all really. You did refund the difference from a cheaper quote, I suppose I should be grateful. God help if I’m ever in a accident. Other than that had no problems. Genuine customer service advisers SO FAR.

Quite a wait to get through to claims dept but when I did they were helpful and answered my questions. They said the assesors or repairers would be in touch but still waiting after two days. Still dont know what is happening.
