Was asked if I had driven a rear wheel drive car before when I said no not yet , they come back with I have to cancel my current policy and start a new one which is going to cost mmore this company are not on your side! They make everything difficult and I am not happy I am 99% sure I will never use flux! And I will definatly tell anyone who is considering it what trouble I've had!!

I can see that you have recently contacted us regarding a change of vehicle quotation from a front wheel drive vehicle to a rear wheel drive vehicle. The insurer who you are currently insured with requires previous experience of rear wheel drive vehicles and consequently we have had to look at alternatives. I took a policy out wit this company and after payment Adrian Flux then changed the goal posts requesting additional documentation than agreed on the insurance acceptance date. The additional documentation was sent but allegedly not received and so the policy was cancelled creating yet more charges to myself (cancellation fees) I have tried to contact Adrian Flux to discuss this by email and phone to no avail. The only correspondence received is yet more charges from a debt collection agency. Its costing a fortune to not have my vehicle insured, what a sham. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

I am sorry that you are not happy with our service and that your policy was cancelled as this is something that we always try to avoid I have reviewed your file and can see that the copy of your driving licence that you submitted was unreadable and that you had recently sent your original licence to DVLA to be updated to change the address. As a consequence we requested a further updated copy of your driving licence and documentation to verify your change of address. I can also see that one of our operators has spoken to you since this review was posted and assisted you with your issues. Kind regards Simon

After 4 years as a customer with them I have been given a quote which is double what is available to me on a comparison website. Customer services made no attempt to retain my custom and all responses given to me where robotic and indifferent. They have charged me £27 to exit the arrangement despite being within a 14 day cooling off period.....I would advise looking elsewhere for insurance!

Hi Tracy, Thanks for your comments. We appreciate you feedback and are sorry that you are not happy with our service. Our notes indicate that you thought your renewal date was the 29th but it was actually the 20th. When you then contacted us on the 29th we cancelled your policy as you requested but had no option but to calculate a charge for the time on risk that you had. Despite the fact that you have cancelled your policy with us I hope you will still consider us in the future. Kind regards Simon

Shocking service. Took out a policy last week to start 10 April. Today I get an email telling me to phone straight away and within 2 working days otherwise policy would be cancelled. The lady on the phone who picked up had a serious attitude problem, I was subjected to a Spanish Inquisition, asked me why they had an old address on record! errr because I had moved! They had an old job I used to do and wanted to know why I had said I was retired errrrrrrrrr because I am retired now. They used information I never provided and all the information I did provide was TRUE. Why they had a outdated information is anyone's guess. After waiting for another 10 minutes I was told all was OK with the information I had provided, which was what information I provided in the first place and to send then 1. Copy of driving licence, 2. Copy of no claims and 3. Colour photo of my car in the garage. I have no issues with 1 and 2, but a colour photo of the car in the garage, come on! I then said due to the attitude I no longer wished to deal with them, I was then told no problems it will cost me £60 to cancel a policy that doesn't start for two weeks. In over 38 years of taking out Insurance I have never ever been dealt with in such a brash and totally unfriendly manner. I have paid the £60 because if they are going to deal with me this way as a new customer then god help me should I need to make a claim. Be warned folks, stay away from this company that entraps with low quotes. Flux if you are reading this: I am a CUSTOMER NOT a possible criminal.

Appalling customer service, 6 phone calls taking over an hour and still no service, I can't even speak with anyone to cancel my policy. Chris Bainbridge.

I have taken out and paid in full for a policy, they now want me to jump through all sorts of hoops, sign mileage disclaimer, delay licence checker codes, two different versions of how my no claims from my everyday car would be used! maybe money supermarket should be informed of reviews added to their site, his do I get my money back, my insurance isn't even due to start for another 2 Weeks

We do ask for various documentation in order that we can verify the policy information. Just hope you never need to make a claim! They left us without a courtesy car for nine days and whenever we tried to chase progress we got passed around from one number to another. Absolutely shambolic service!

Courtesy cars are available for the duration of repairs if an approved repairer is used but sometimes the vehicle needs to be assessed to determine whether it is repairable before a courtesy car can be supplied. In cases of this nature the supplying of a courtesy car will be delayed. absolutely disgusting service. they made an error on my policy stating i had taken a policy out with them on a provisional liscence, even though it was their error! i sent numerous poictures and proof of my liscence and no claims, yet the error wasnt picked up they then tried to take a years no claims discount off me due to this. it took numerous phone calls and a phone call from a very helpful lady at me new insurance to ring them to confirm i had 3 years no claims. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! God knows what would have happened if i had ever needed to claim with them!

This company is happy to grab your Money and charge administration fees then cancel your policy unless you pay more, very bad experience

Absolute abysmal. Offer you a good competitive insurance quote for you take the bait then once signed up they are a absolute nightmare. Customer service is appalling. Treatment of customers is disgraceful. Customer service come out with complete utter lack of knowledge concerning performance motors. Insure your motor then devalue your motor by nearly half without informing customer. Stalk and pester you for documentation so you do all the work for them but then can't be bothered to send out required documents such as ncb when you really need them. I'm a petrol head and on a lot of forums and this is the growing reputation of this shoddy penny pinching company. Never use again. Avoid like the plague.

Because of an IT issue at point of sale I have had to cancel my policy. No ownership of the problem, no promised call backs, over 4 hours on the phone to resolve and none of it my fault. Now subject to a financial ombudsman complaint. The worst customer service experience I have ever had from any company

Late delivery of important car insurance documentation appalling, twice in 2 weeks, which left my wife and me not able to drive our cars. They lied several times regarding the dispatch of the documentation advising that they had sent it only to state the following day that it had been sent on another day, Still have not received it 6 days later. I suggest you use another insurance broker.

Got a quote fair enough it was decent price (bait). After two months my policy has been cancelled and charged over 50% of policy price reason being that i have not sent documents that i have already sent. Worst experience with an insurance company ever

Rip-off merchants - over £200 in charges. STAY AWAY! Absolute con-men. I signed up around 9 years ago and had my policy on auto-renew. I never had any contact with them until last month, when I wanted to change my car. My new quote was for £798.80 (3rd party only), within minutes I found a quote online (with Admiral) for £429 (fully comprehensive). Adrian Flux are happy to take your money, but if you need to change the car or cancel your policy they find HUNDREDS of pounds (over £200 in my case) worth of charges to screw you over. STAY AWAY! Also, I was on hold for 20 minutes, when the rep asked if she could put me on hold again, i said no and asked her to call me back; she refused and put me on hold for a further 10 minutes. SERIOUSLY, STAY AWAY!

worst insurance company out there quote cheap but then you find out why from the day I got this insurance they have been putting obstacles in the way and trying to cancel the policy I think somebody is on a bonus for cancelations or is it they try to get as much out of you and then cancel before you get a chance to claim I would avoid like the plague

I'd echo every other negative review on here. Terrible, rude obnoxious company who seem to make their money cancelling policies rather than investing in any kind of service. The issue isn't with trying to claim, it's just in their constant demands for paperwork - they don't accept certain utility bills, the pictures you have sent are unclear etc etc until they then inform you the policy is cancelled & provide a huge bill for the pleasure. I'm also complaining to the ombudsman & would recommend everyone with a bad experience with them does the same. Even if they weasel out of the complaint it still costs THEM £600 which is charged by the ombudsman ???????????? Avoid like the plague

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE avoid at all costs. No matter how valid your reason to cancel your insurance you will be stung almost 40% of your annual premium. Bunch of criminals.

I found Adrian Flux to be the most complicated and misleading insurance company i have ever dealt with, they would not let me cancel the policy in the cooling off period and kept on adding extra costs for the cancelation that i know they are not in their rights to do, which added to my costs and also Adrian Flux black listed my name to other insurance companys because i dared to stand up to my rights against them! Also after spending hours getting through to the customer services they were rude as soon as they found me to want to cancel my policy! Never had such a nightmare with any previous insurance companys like this in my whole 22 years of driving. A warning to others please Avoid them.
