Bisto had a sudden attack of violent unexplained vomiting, she had to go on a drip and have bloods taken. L&g sorted the claim out straight away and paid the vets direct with no worry to me at all

Fantastic service from my home insurance provider. One initial phone call to claims line then received a phone call within one hour to provide me with a voucher to cover the cost of my much loved , lost , personal item. Thankyou

Home insurance claim on kitchen fire came out at 11:45 to board up windows and door .. Followed by disturbance allowance paid prompt appointed loss adjustors although slow progress with them was all wrapped up in three weeks l&g very very helpful pushed to get things sorted no hassle paying out so surprised everything but the little slowness by the loss adjustors all in all 10/10 thank u l&g

I dropped my iphone 7 in the sink on fri 10th March 2017 and it stopped working the next day. I called Legal and general on the sunday and was told i would get a call back within 24hours. I hadnt heard anything on Monday so i called them back on the tuesday to be told how sorry they were that i hadnt had a call back. I went through what happened again and my claim was put through to the rapid claims department. I was called the following day to be told my claim was all processed and i would receive a cheque (minus the excess) through the post in the next 5-7 days and they would collect my broken phone whenever suited me by courier. I got it picked up from my work place and received my cheque on the Monday. All very professional and very easy to deal and chat to. Maybe my claim was very simple but i was expecting to be faced with a lot of challenges given these reviews but i didnt at all.

I never write reviews but I have in this cause because L&G really deserve a good one, they have been helpful and simple all the way through. From our initial quote - where everything I queried was explained clearly, to taking out the insurance and then processing our first claim. I didn't think we'd have to claim as early on in the policy as we did but when we had to it was easy and quick. I completed the claim form that we were sent when we took out the insurance, dropped it into my vet and the funds were credited to my account not long after. I didn't have to do any chasing up at all. Lovely customer service team and easy to follow processes. :)

I bought a new bike and insured it through L+G along with an existing bike. The cost to insure two £500 bikes on top of my existing policy was very cheap at only £13 a year. I was horrified when one of my bikes was stolen only one day after I'd insured it. I was convinced that they would think I was committing fraud and refuse to pay out but they only asked a few very reasonable questions and then not only paid out for my bike but also for the lights and locks that went with it. There were no quibbles at all. They didn't even ask for receipts for the lights and lock. I was very impressed. I had the money (obviously minus the excess) a week after my bike was stolen.

Today I feel that I must write a review about the legal and general home insurance emergency cover. Unfortunately, I could not get into my house, the key would not go into the front door and I was locked out. It's Sunday but I called Legal and General I had emergency cover and a locksmith came to my home within 22mins and let me into my home in about 2mins. Whilst we don't always choose emergency cover we had this year in July and I am so happy we did.

This is a good value for money policy with Legal and General. Cannot comment on claims customer service as I haven't made one.

I was invited to renew my policy unfortunately the price quoted was well above the previous years cost. I went to comparison sites and got the same Legal and General policy at a much keener price. It is such a pity that a loyalty policy doesn't seem to exist. I would happily allow my policy to roll over if I felt valued.
