“No staff about to advise. There was one member at checkout. .I did find someone at the back of the store whom I though could help. No she could not. She went to find someone else. Did not come back. Purchased what I could. This used to be a great store. The shelves were always full. Not now.”

“it was a windy, miserable Sunday afternoon. I decided to go and get my rabbit a new cage. so, my first thought was pets at home. little did I know it would be a day from hell. i was so humiliated and angry at the disgusting behaviour of the workers. after looking for a while, a lady approached me, she had blonde, out grown root hair, definitely a Gemini. she took me to the cage department and decided to inform her that it was for my rabbit. short after, she told me it wasn't even big enough for her left toe and punched me in the face. (i have left an image below) i would click 0 stars however there is no option and my eye is glitching.”

“To buy something from Aberdeen Beach shop you have to be very patient. The employees here do not seem to be interested in selling to customers and only make things look nice on shelves or pets in their cages. My family and I have been customers of this store for some time. We have already bought pets and many accessories and consumables for them. In the last month I tried to buy some fish but every time an employee of theirs invoked a reason not to sell me: the tank is too new or too small, the water is too cold or too hot. They've sent me home 3 times so far. In the meantime, I bought some fish from another store and they are happy with the aquarium they live in. Today I tried to buy 2 fish again, but two employees from them found other reasons not to sell them to me. I don't think they like to get wet ... They are usually very calm, but buyers need soothing pills for the humiliation and inability to buy a fish from there. However, we decided not to buy anything from their shop.”

“Wow , well done pets at home !! I was lucky enough to be on a trial for the furminator ( & lint roll ) . . Brilliant product , all pets love being groomed with it . Whenever I've been into stores , I find the colleagues very helpful , friendly , knowledgeable & caring for our pets welfare , always good to shop around , but never had any issues when buying or returning products . Thank you”

“this company is so unreliable never got stock of dog food they recommended try ringing the head office and they are still using covid as an excuse everyone else seems to be getting supplies we are two years into this and dogs still need to eat i will buy from else where in future”

“Just been to your Poole store. We were served by Chantel who was very friendly and knowledgeable. She signed us up to visit club and gave us lots of advice. Nice clean store and friendly staff. We will be back and would recommend.”

“Avoid this company at all costs! As a previous employee for more than three years I can speak from experience and say this company is shocking, pets are nothing but an after thought and DO NOT COME BEFORE PROFIT. The vets upstairs should not be aloud to work with any pet as they do not have a caring bone in their body. Staff are promoted not on merit but who they are brown nosing within the company at the time. The groom room at Redditch is a death trap for dogs (unless you don’t mind poor cleaning) your dog being forcefully handled round the throat or almost set on fire just to “make targets” and get as many dogs through the door than is physically possible. Management are useless and refuse to act on such concerns, instead tell you “to stop moaning”. You will be forced to work long hours, despite your contract stating part time, should you refuse or are unable to work additional hours then your life will be made hell, you are not aloud an opinion and if you do raise concerns it will simply go no where, why? Because management are too busy sleeping with each other or doing all they can to hide the issues raised. I had to mark as one star as it won’t allow to give zero! Please avoid shopping or working here”

“My dog was suppose to get a bath with extra conditioner.. his teeth cleaned and nails cut...service was suppose to take an hour...35 minutes later they rang and said he was ready to be collected...his nails were not cut ..I asked why and they said well they weren't that bad so didn't do it...I checked his teeth when got back to car and they looked exactly the same as when he went in...I rang them and they said they did his teeth but clearly they didn't...so I paid all that money just for a bath...will not take him back there again”

“Bought 2 dog beds which both stores said available online then after accepting my money online I had messages saying they had cancelled both orders and I will be refunded in 3 days.really not happy as if not in stock they shouldn't have accepted payment but did state only low stock not non in stock”

“All my hamsters came from the his store and all of them lived to just under 3 years and one lasted nearly 4 years,the shop assistance is excellent and there's a good variety of hamster toys and bedding..”

“Was told after my dogs grooming the 5th would be free and they. Would send me a voucher which they never did.when I collected my dog and reminded Izzy the groomer about the free groom she denied I should have got a free groom and charged me £45. I hope people will and read this because it is a Iie they just want to keep coming back.well I certainly won’t be Hastings branch”

“If I could give a zero star review that's what your shop in St Albans would get. I came into the shop at 16.28pm to pick up a delivery and decided to get a few bits as there was a lady at the till before me. I then asked Keith for some advice and he was horribly rude telling me the shop closed 5 minutes ago. I told him there was a lady at the till and I could not drag her away and he continued to be so horrible. He threatened to bar be from the shop. On what grounds? He also threatened to get me a parking ticket.Is it because I pushed back and would not tolerate how nasty he was? Typical bully. The lady and the cashier witnessed it all. I was shaking. I will find somewhere else to get my supplies. Amazon has gained a new pet owner.”

“Pets at home vets,Dog had a ear problem, in there 3 min, one small bottle of ear drops, £96.60. Looked online, could buy for £8.40. I know that they have to make a profit but that’s a bit much,”
