I've found Sheila's Wheels easy to deal with and efficient. We were driven into the back of and called them to discuss possibly claiming. The call was answered quickly and the advisor was helpful. No complaints so far.

All the staff at Sheilas Wheels were lovely and helpful. I had to call them to amend my policy due to changing my vehicle and also again for having amendments done to the new vehicle and everything went smoothly on the phone with them. Very impressed and won't go with anyone else.

My main car policy was fine, but the problem arose when I wished to insure my son for their holiday with insurance to cover them both for the use of my car. Despite many attempts on line and phone the problem persisted, I was later told that the system was to blame! Eventually, senior personnel were called and the problem was sorted with the issue of the correct documents. To maintain customer goodwill I have to say that I was handsomely compensated so no hard feelings. I hope to renew my policy with SHEILA'S WHEELS when it becomes due.

I had the worst experience in my life . if anyone crashes into you they don't care they don't give you a car on hire and they're rude to their customers all they want is your money every month I'm going to cancel my policy I don't want to have any thing more to do with Sheilas wheels again

They're not even worth a 1 star review ! Absolutely horrendous customer service, costs about 5p a minute and have never got through to them in anything less than 20 minutes. After that you're on the phone for a good hour trying to sort something, continuoisly being put on hold! I've just cancelled my insurance after a years policy and they're charging me £150, despite the fact I've been trying to get through to them to cancel the insurance ever since it was up for renewal. After 6 times of trying to get through to Sheila's Wheels to cancel the insurance (waiting 30 minutes each time until eventually hanging up) I finally got through to be told they were going to charge me a minimum of £150 to cancel it! How it costs that much to cancel a policy is beyond me, the car has been off the road on our private land since the insurance ran out and as I have a black box they are able to see that?! They've also told me on 2 different occasions that they will be sending me a compensation cheque due to the amount of times we've called and been unable to get through, and their response to the fact we have to wait so long to get through to their customer service is 'all our customers have to wait at the same'. They have also sent many threatening email and letters. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Do not stay with Sheila's Wheels, unless you don't mind paying far more than you should for genuinely good insurance. Having used these people more than once, we shopped round when they proposed a ridiculous premium increase simply for replacing a like for like car. We did shop round on Compare the Markets and saved £400- insane

I am leaving such a high rating based on my experience with Ryan Collins. I have to be honest, if he was my employee I would immediately promote him to Director of customer service. He knows how to handle customers and deal with things in a timely efficient manner. Too many companies don't make the right hires for customer facing roles, but this is not the case here. Ryan was professional, pleasant and was quick to solve my problem. Thank you, Ryan.

The WOREST insurance company i have ever seen in my life. They are not equally treated the customer. They use advantage of language they dont have standard regulation it depends who you are!!! Every one who works there telling you different ideas according your English level which means if you dont speak fluent then they start to cheat not to cover any expense and never admit what they said before. They are very stupid company.

It would seem I'm joining a whole host of unhappy customers of this sad company. Although to be honest, I don't think any insurance company wants to pay out money if they can get away with it. My problem was with some tiles being blown up out of place by high winds. The bad weather was confirmed by a Sheilas wheel member of staff as being 65 mph winds and torrential rain. But despite that fact, when the surveyor turned up to look at the damage he walked out into the garden and took pictures of the roof from half way down the garden and stated it was wear and tear and could not, therefore, honour any payment to repair the roof. Whilst I agree there may have been wear and tear on my 1950s house, it doesn't detract from the fact that high winds took the tiles up letting the rain in which wasn't an issue prior to the storm. On checking the damage inside in the bedroom, the ceiling was badly stained and the plaster board bubbled from the wet. The mattress was soaked and an expensive cupboard had been soaked and now the draws are jammed solid. Carpet and underlay were also water damaged. The surveyor said the bed would dry out and as it isn't stained would not pay out on that. Which it did but now smells musty even though it isn't stained and is unusable. The carpet they agreed to pay out on. The ceiling was, as far as the surveyor was concerned, repairable with stain cover paint and a 'good emulsion'. He would not pay out on replacing the damaged boards. The surveyor offered us a pittance to repair our cupboard and advised us that a rubbing of a wax candle would sort out the jamming or plane a bit off the draws. Apparently they encourage 'mend and make do' attitude rather than look after their customers attitude. This comes after seven years of never claiming a thing. So I'm afraid Sheilas Wheels can get on their collective bike because we won't be using them again. The problem is there probably isn't an insurance company in the country that will be any better. The whole industry from cars to pets is a big money making scam.

I have been with this company for 2 years and only had to contact them once as I had an amendment to make on my policy, So after being passed around to 3 different people and being fobbed off 3 times I eventually got through to an advisor Ryan Collins who works in the operations department, him and solely him is the only reason why I am giving this a 5 star review, my first sentence to him was 'can you pass me straight to a manager now please' now looking back at this I know I was rude however after being fobbed off 3 times previously he did understand and after being calm and sympathetic towards me he asked what my problem was (I also completely understand he could of quiet easily have passed the problem onto someone else but no he decided to stick out the call and deal with the issue) not only did he rectify my issue he went the extra mile in making sure my complaint was dealt with and I was happy with the outcome. He also followed up a week later after the call to ensure I was all okay. I don't usually write reviews however I do appreciate good customer service. Thank you Ryan

I took out an online policy but needed to make amendments. Called their 0345 number numerous times, never got through, over an hour on hold. Rang overseas 0141 overseas number and eventually got through. Decided to cancel as impossible to get hold of, was told 'admin fee' of £26 even though cover hadn't started. After much moaning this was waived.
