“Wasn't very supportive and made me feel rubbish when I was involved in an accident which was clearly the other persons fault.
Other insurance company's agreed except my own!
Disappointed!”
“I had a small accident in my car, Zenith wrote to me shortly afterwards to say they had cancelled my insurance yet have not given a reason for this. It appears they are happy to take my money but when an issue actually arises they just want to throw me out and not refund me any of the amount I paid.
How they can call themselves an insurance company I am not sure! An absolute joke and I would recommend never using them.”
“Advertised a much lower price, i went ahead and got the insurance however needed so many documents which they were not helpful with at all.
Then as found a MUCH cheaper deal I decided to cancel the insurance and they assured me there'd be no more money coming out of my account however the very next day 250 was taken!!! Disgusted at their hiding of information”
“Two way they rip off young drivers,Firstly they wait till around 9/10 months then cancel the insurance.Stating that something had not been disclosed. Then when you dispute it charge you to carry on with your insurance.Usually hundreds of pounds because you don't want to lose your no claims
Want to change your car as a young driver,Same car twelve months newer.
Sorry we have to refer you to the underwriters.Quote comes back £ 600 pounds dearer for 3 months insurance.
Don't use this company unless you really need to.Con artists Not recommended.
Customer service a disgrace.”
“I moved and was refused insurance at my new address. Asked for a breakdown of my refund and was only provided with one figure which was i already aware of. They also tried to charge me for cancelling the policy when they had cancelled it. I had to ask to speak to managers numerous times. I wouldn't insure anything with them again. I'm still waiting for a breakdown of how they worked out my refund. This was 8 months ago. Utterly ridiculous!”
“5 calls and 2hrs on hold, just to try and speak to someone from Zenith. Not their claims handing firm. Not their windscreen replacement firm, but Zenith.
Each time repeating my simple request - an authorisation request for a manufacturer brand windscreen so my car warranty remains valid - and each time being transferred to someone who couldn't help me or (eventually) someone who could but had all the wrong details.
They were the cheapest quote, by a small bit. That wasn't worth the hassle caused for a simple glass replacement.
Never ever again.”
“Pleasant people offering a dire service. Made a glass claim (cracked windscreen) and needed authorisation for a specific part to be fitted. Calls to the numbers on my policy were directed to various windscreen and claims handling companies, but it was nearly impossible to speak to Zenith themselves.
5 calls and 2hrs later repeating myself over and over it's finally resolved but I'll never use them again.”
“Terrible company took money from my account without permission.
I admit I had put the wrong date down on a previous accident . However I sent a letter explaining this and gave them the correct date of previous claim .
They still increased the premium and took extra money from my account . On the phone the guy said its your fault we still might not reduce it even with a letter from previous insurance company . Total rip off terrible service , as has been mentioned by other customers you get what you pay for , please do yourself a favour and avoid this company !!”
“DO NOT USE ZENITH INSURANCE! - DO NOT USE ZENITH INSURANCE! EVER EVER EVER
This company is the perfect advert for you get what you pay for. A 3rd party reversed into my car at an Asda car park back in September 2015. 3rd party admitted full liabilty and their insurer paid for all repairs. Have just found out Zenith my own insurer had me down as "At fault" upto until today even though they were informed the 3rd party admitted liabilty and had paid my repairs. Then at the beginning of Febuary a foriegn driver in a foreign lorry hit my Mum who was driving my Car at the time . The insurance details the driver gave appear to be invalid and we are having a nightmare tracking his insurance down. I informed Zenith of the accident as obliged but have made no claim and no claim has been made against my insurance. Zenith have decided to put me "at fault" for 6 months and frozen my NCD. How can i be "at fault" when no claim has been made. Their own underwriters have said ot shouldnt be recorded as "at fault" as its not resolved. They tell you to speak to the brokers to have it changed but when you speak to the brokers they tell you only the underwriters can change it. You get passed from pillar to post when you try sort the mess out and all their internal teams seem not to communicate with each other. I went with Zenith because they were the cheapest and its bit me in the back side. Do not go with Zenith Ever. Look at all the alternatives. You get what you pay for.”
“Awful, they are cheap for a reason, had a non fault accident 3rd party admitted liability, have been told they can not offer me a renewal of my policy, (penalized for being hit) van was returned in poor condition, they don't want to know.
Zenith are great if you don't need them, Avoid !!!! you have been warned”
“Absolutely terrible customer service. Took my deposit and first months premium, received all the documents requested, then cancelled my policy WITHOUT informing me! When I rang up to add an additional driver to my policy I was then informed that they had cancelled it 3 days ago!! I'm just lucky I wasn't stopped by the police in that time. Refused to refund any money and GET THIS, used my deposit and premium that I had already paid as a cancellation fee!!! What an absolute joke! I was told that they haven't got the manpower to contact every customer to tell them that their policy is due to be cancelled! You only know when you've been stopped by the police and banned from driving! Disgrace.”
“Stay well clear of zenith they are the worst company Iv ever come across , they just pass the book all the time, they keep you on hold and no one seems to know anything shocking service!”
“Absolutely awful experience, it appears there are a number of parts to the claims process outsourced to different 3rd parties; none of whom seem to talk to each other or know what's going on.
It took over a week to get the car collected and even then I had to chase repeatedly. The same could not be said about there personal injury team who kept calling to persuade me I have injuries which I explained I do not have.
Their recommended garage repeated lied to me about when the car would be repaired, the collection date changed 5 times - it wasn't a serious repair.
I've tried to complain, but frankly it costs too much to be passed from person to person, department to department with everyone passing the hot potato.
Absolutely useless, can't warn people enough to avoid paying this company and money whatsoever.”
“I had an accident on 7 feb 15 till now zenith has not replied or done anything to solve my claim they voided my insurance by saying I missed a payment with my previous insurance which I reported to Ombudsmen proved them wrong now they are making more false information like saying prove your address which I sent my bank statement and driving license it shows my address but still they would try making up anything to void your policy they asked about employments driving license no claims discounts what previous cars you had what insurance companies wore they insured with. I would never recommend them to any body also zenith is part of markerstudy group I would suggest to be very careful if they would try to come under another name and sell you insurances take a full payment then void your policy be careful
Ronnie Marshall”
“Phoned for a quote and got a very poor service, phoned the website number in regards to a quotation and was asked for my policy number, having explained I did not have one and was looking for a quote, I was redirected several times. The lady who answered to give me a quote sounded like she was just awake and could not understand what I was saying, she suggested I was whispering and had to get me to repeat myself several times! I was calling from my own business phone and have had no issues with it. After a lengthy awkward process she could not take the quote any further because I could not tell her the value of my alloy wheels, which were on the car when I purchased them, complete waste of my time! though I had already decided half way through the call if this is there first contact impression I would be better taking my business elsewhere.”
