Terrible products & customer service. Bought a robot hoover, it broke within 2 weeks. Took months to get a replacement. 2nd one broke within 4 months - I now have to pay the international shipping fees to return the broken item as warranty is only for 45 days and GEARBEST will NOT refund. AVOID TERRIBLE COMPANY TERRIBLE PRODUCTS & TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Worst onlineshop ever! Don't buy there! The items are not in stock after you actually bought them or you wait for months.

Last few orders were a lottery. Some of arrived just fine, some of them very late and some of them I never received. I tried to resolve this with customer support for 7 months, but didn't receive my order nor money back.

Readers can assess the challenges of dealing with this Internet seller, the rating should be no stars. In the last 12 months multiple items ordered and paid for were never received. Even when you paid for S&H to increase the possibility of receipt - no luck. Vendor provided Tracking Numbers cannot be traced back to any known shipping company. GB tells you to contact the seller for assistance and relief. The marketplace vendor tells you to contact GB and submit a Ticket for refund. The useless customer service function replies to the Ticket talking about extended shipping cycles, paid for delivery 15-30 days, 90 days later still lost in the Universe. The exchanges with customer service just loops without resolution. Paypal is also impotent in resolving the paid for but not received issue - referring you back to GB for a refund. The issue is the lack of integrity in GB business operations through marketplace vendors. My orders involved items that were early sales at a good price for example iHealth non contact thermometer sold at $23.99 that is now being sold by the same vendor Lii 3C Store for $49.99. The price went up since August and they decided to take my money and sell the same item to another for double the price. Take your business elsewhere the same products can be found through others Chinese sites as well as the big "A" who has off shore marketplace sellers with a reliable business model. BBB rating "F" Gearbest.com • Failure to respond to 60 complaint(s) filed against business • Business has failed to resolve underlying cause(s) of a pattern of complaints • 126 complaint(s) filed against business • Length of time business has taken to respond to complaint(s) • • CURRENT ALERTS FOR THIS BUSINESS • Pattern of Complaint: • BBB files indicate a pattern of complaints concerning customer service, shipping and billing practices of Gearbest.com. Consumers are telling BBB that the business is not delivering items within the promised delivery date. Many consumers that purchased merchandise from Gearbest.com say that they still have not received the ordered merchandise after several weeks have passed. Some consumers that do receive their orders tell BBB that items received are defective. Many consumers claim that they offered store credit instead of the refund they are seeking after their items are not received. Numerous consumers report a lot of difficulty in getting a response the company’s customer service department, despite multiple attempts to each them by telephone or email. Several consumers that do interact with the company’s customer service team are allegedly told that their products have been shipped and they are provided with a tracking number. Those consumers claim that the tracking numbers received from Gearbest.com are not valid and cannot be traced by the shipping carrier (FedEx, USPS).

Do not recommend!!!! Worst experience ever! I bought a smartphone using Gearbest and from the beginning that it was a nightmare. First, the phone took over 3 months to be delivered, without any tracking number that was valid for me use and not even the Gearbest support could track the item. After months of talking to the support team, always asking for patience, more and more waiting time, the phone finally arrived. After 3 months in use, the screen and battery stop working and the phone becomes completely inoperable. New ticket and contact with support and another extremely unpleasant experience. After more than a month of trying to resolve the situation, since the phone is within its year of warranty, I obviously requested a refund request given that the technical/support team states that the phone can not be repaired or replaced by a new one. Here began the excuses and the cheeky swindle of this company. First, I am within my right to request a refund, which was immediately refused with no reasoning. Secondly, the phone is available for purchase on the website and there is no reason not to send me an exact new one. Third, the only solution Gearbest has found is a refund of not even 1/3 of the value of the cell phone and only in US dollars, having paid in Euros. The worst experience of my life in so many purchases I have made online. The biggest scam I've ever seen. I advise no one to buy anything through Gearbest. I hope I can help people who are still considering buying with them. Save your wallet and mental health, don't do it!

I ordered face masks back in May and never received them. For the past 5 months I have had an ongoing online conversation with their support center. They give me the same information over and over. Wait or do the same things over and over with no results. My requests for a refund are n=met with wait, we are contacting the seller. Its been 5 months. Do not use this company. They do stand behind what they sell and they will not help you resolve problems. They also won't give you any information to call or write to higher ups in the company. Just the same robotic replies from customer service

THE GOOD NEWS: After more than 30 days of back and forth messaging with Gearbest (GB) I finally received a refund for 30 KN-95 masks from a total of 110 actually ordered. THE BAD NEWS: GB tried to make me deal with a sub seller of theirs named NICHE. The Customer Care and that might be an oxymoron, of NICHE sent me numerous messages which were in no way relevant to my missing masks. They sent numerous requests for photos of the packaging and individual masks which I luckily had. I am convinced they were playing a delay game in hopes I would, out of frustration, give up. I finally told (GB) that they were the seller I ordered from directly and they had to take responsibility for the missing masks, not some company (NICHE) I never heard of when I placed the order. GB finally started communicating with me. Their messaging was slightly better than NICHE but they too seemed to be playing the delay game in hopes I would not meet the PayPal (PP) deadline. This became very frustrating when after NICHE and GB messaged me separately, they would send me a refund but not until I closed the case with PayPal. My only leverage with them was my PayPal Case. Due to PP timing rules I had an upcoming deadline and so I closed the CASE. Within 2 days I was notified the refund was on its way from GB via PayPal to me. Conclusion: The total refund was for around $38. The masks I did receive were of good quality. Why, you might ask, did I spend so much of my time with all of the back of over a month period over $38. I am 81 years old and retired. I am stuck in the house what with the Covid-19 thing. Lessons learned: Make sure you take comprehensive photos of received items and packaging thereof. NICHE did complete the delivery. The problem was that they were totally wrong as to the number of masks in the individual smaller packages. Seemingly easy to communicate, but they made it infinitely more difficult. MORE GOOD NEWS: The K-95 masks seem to work in regards to the horrible air quality caused be the California fires. POSSIBLE BAD NEWS: Gearbest, Niche and PP may refuse to ever deal with me again. OR IS THAT GOOD NEWS.

Ordered a product with a 5 days delivery. Got my money back after 7 weeks from Paypal without any comment from Gearbest. After 9 weeks i received a mail from Gearbest, saying, that the product was lost and that i will get the money back:-) Conclusion: The product was, at the moment of the sale, not in Europe. It was from the beginning impossible to deliver within 5 days. Bad seller = LIFE SMART ROBOT Store The good: got my money back without any discussions!

Bought a cell phone which developed within 6 months screen problems. Expectation in Europe of course is replacement or repair. Gearbest tried with suggestions of maltreatment (phone heated up according to support ) to avoid warranty. I didnt accept and their offer finally was 40 US and some account points, which I declined. Do not buy at Gearbest ever.
