“Fantastic build quality, & colour options (Coffee bean was my preferred choice, mature, simple, & looks great) Although the temptation to pre-book someone building it on your behalf, i highly recommend you roll up your sleeves & built it yourself, takes o/a 2-3hours tops, & the satisfaction is worth it...plus you can order a bougie takeaway with the saved £80 & eat dinner in bed. Do it. Great service, thank you & good luck”

“Very solid bed once built. All the finishing and joints were accurately cut. And the paint finish is very good. The bunk bed will definitely be able to handle our two kids. The only negative is all of the mortis and tenon joints weren't tight and actually had a bit of movement in two directions. I could slide them in effortlessly which wasn't expected.”

“Website: flashy/inviting. Sales team: excellent. Delivery: excellent. Assembly instructions: lamentably poor, small diagrams, poorly reproduced - not sure how "Los Americanos" get on. Design/construction: despite the catchy name and promise of "externally-constructed toilet" sturdiness, I was left underwhelmed. The parts were incorrectly labeled; (supposedly) matching lengths were cut/machined to different lengths such that when correctly and carefully assembled, there were visible gaps (and yes, I have a proficient engineering background and matching dexterity to have assembled this bed painstakingly). Overall: our old bed, bought beside the road in Uganda and assembled/disassembled using 4 x M10mm nuts and bolts, but replaced because the replacement mattress size is unavailable in UK, was a far beefier and more solid example. This company infer solidity but deliver an "Ikea-ish" result for flashy/"folksy" promise and over-optimistic pricing. Mt recommendation is to buy elsewhere.”

“Finding a smaller-than-average single bed for a small bedroom was difficult, but Get Laid Beds' space saver single bed fit perfectly. I ended up buying three mattresses and two beds. The mattresses are very comfortable, and the bedframes are beautiful and easy to assemble. However, the parts in the boxes didn't always match the instructions leaflet, causing some confusion. One mattress was missed in the delivery but arrived a few days later. Despite this, their customer service was excellent. I highly recommend Get Laid Beds for high-quality bedroom furniture.”

“Bought for my teenage son, who's room is in the loft so this low bed and space saving design (where mattress sits on top of the frame) made a huge difference. Delivered on time. The bed is as shown, and is really solid and well made. My son absolutely loves it! I've had to drop a star however as the building instructions weren't the best, with none of the bed parts labelled (a letter or number would help) so we spent much longer than necessary trying to figure it all out. Also, instructions were for the Oriental not Toyko, so we initially panicked we'd been sent the wrong bed! Just small things, but would hugely help with customer experience.”

“The on-line ordering process was simple and easy to complete, including a host of different options for both mattress and bed. You even get to chose which day to have the items delivered, which suited me perfectly. Once the order was placed, there's a steady stream of e-mails confirming and then later informing you of the progress - I even got one saying the bed was beig painted and then going through quality control. Really felt like the company wanted to inform you as much as possible - including confirmation of despatch and all the tracking details we've come to expect from on-line orders these days. The couriers were efficient and fast - one minor niggle was having paid extra for a by 12 noon delivery, they actually arrived 30 mins late, and the T&Cs say they won't guarantee any time slot. But otherwise all good. The bed and matress came well packaged - indeed, the matress was triple-bagged to protect it, and therefore pristine once unwrapped. Assembling the bed was relatively easy: I would say that the instructions could be slightly clearer - there's a lot of white space on the pages so the 'close up' bubbles showing 'detail' could be even better. But what I thought was great was, even though there were only 2 screw sizes, the instuctions had a exact sized template that you could hold a screw against to know you were using the right one. Brilliant. Lots of pre-cut holes making locating screws easy - but you definitely need an electric screwdriver to complete the job (or at least I did). Also, the company provides a several more screws than you need - this is always a sign of a customer-focused, service-oriented company in my view. The assembled bed looks great, and having bought a mattress without trying it, I'm delighted with how comfortable it is. All round, an excellent experience - quality of service and of product is superb, at what I consider to be a very reasonalble cost.”

“Bed frame is good no complaints. We also bought the recommended mattress. It is ridiculously high on the bed as slats sit quite high. Having simply unpacked, the mountains of plastic to see what it's like. We requested to exchange the next day. VERY DISAPPOINTEDLY the answer was no. So many online firms offer replacement, as do they, on certain mattresses. But the lack of willingness and service to work with a customer, willing to pay the same and cover delivery charges was unexpected, and counter constructive for them. Their advice was I could try and sell it. Thanks for that”

“Exceptional craftsmanship & customer service from 'Get laid' beds. From placing our order to delivery, we cannot fault. The bed is beautiful & matches our existing furniture perfectly. Communication was excellent throughout. We are impressed with the sturdiness of this Kingsize bed, with wider slats than many we have looked at previously. We had a very comfortable nights sleep & the height is perfect for getting up from; another thing we have had to factored in to our considerations as we get older. Thank you so much. We are delighted!”

“Well made bed frame and comfy bed that looks good , but it really should say on the website that an electric screwdriver is strongly suggested. We don’t have one and it took ages and was quite painful on hands to put all the screws in by hand even though there is some pre drilling. Would recommend but invest in an electric screwdriver or attachment for your drill!”

“My experience with Get Laid Beds was a mixed bag. While the bed looks decent now that it's assembled, the journey to get there was fraught with issues. Damaged wood, a mouldy slat, and vague instructions made the assembly process far more difficult than it should have been. The colour was also much paler than advertised online. Although the finished product is okay, the initial quality issues and frustrating assembly leave me hesitant to fully recommend Get Laid Beds.”

I’m pleased to hear that the bed looks decent after assembly, but I'm truly sorry to learn about the challenges you faced during the process. We strive for high standards in quality and clear instructions, and it’s disappointing to know we fell short in your experience. Your concerns about the damaged wood and slat are taken very seriously but we did not receive any communication from you to be able to look into this and resolve it for you before you left a review. You chose the "Natural" option which is plain bare pine with no stain over the top. This is fully natural colour of the pine wood. This variation, as with all of our finishes, will be a result of using real wood rather than veneer coverings. We also encourage customers to order our free samples of the finishes so they can be seen in natural light. Although we provide clear examples of the finishes, they way in which you view them may vary depending on what you use to view a website image, the contrast and tones may vary for each devise. “So far so good! My king size oxford bed was fairly easy to assemble, feels really sturdy, slats are thick, no fear of them breaking, no creaks or weird noises when I move around on it. Overall this seems a lot more solid and well designed than my old bed.”

“Ordered the London bed with floating shelf and under-bed storage box. It came it in 6 easy to move boxes. I was able to put bed and storage box together by myself in about 3 hours. I am very pleased with the bed.”

“The Bed arrived on time, although some packages where missing. After doing a full inventory I contacted Customer Service and after some back and forth, they supplied the missing parts swiftly. After this little mishap, everything went as planned. We now hav a new Ottoman and an Everyday mattress and we are sleeping better than we have in the last 7 years. Also, love the colours, the materials, and they do have a great the company name xD Fully recommend.”
