Terrible service, also their policy is very shady. I will have to say goodbye to my $100 and the funny part is i cannot use their services and they will not provide you a refund because if policy, whatsoever not recommended.

RIP off charged £33 got picked up just dropped and given a little story found our the cable car was pennies to ride so got charged £33 basically for a lift and a story

Do not use Get Your Guide Do not use Get Your Guide. 

They do not deliver they do not show up at time stated on ticket. They take your money and do not refund it 

We had a ticket for an Athens tour for 8 am. We showed up at 7:40 am. They never showed and said they sent an email the night before saying pickup was 7:30 am. We never got the email. They are the worst. No refund. Date of experience: June 10, 2024 Booking GYGG46ZKK36M

Terrible company. DONT USE. They don't inform you on the app or via text or phone call on changes to departure times they email but who looks at emails on holiday? They don't refund either. Our departure point changed by over a mile. We were on foot we only noticed after seeing our boat the other side of the Danube. We had waited for 50 mins at the departure point no signs up either.

Avoid using Get Your Guide if you can. We’ve had two incidents recently where their service has been terrible. With one very stressful scenario involving fraudulent activity – GYG absolved themselves of all responsibility regardless of the fact our account had been hacked. Plenty of other good companies out there which we’ll be using from now on. We’ll be closing our account and not using them again.

A guy took our money, picked us up from a hotel and took us for our dream jungle 3 day trip. After getting on board of a wooden structure that was supposed to be a safe boat we started asking questions. It turned out that there’s no reservation, no nothing and they are trying to offer us not so premium journey for a load od money. Guy tried to scam us and GetYourGuide team stand up on his side!!!!! We had to go to the police to force the guy to refund!!! It’s a joke - we ended up in the middle of nowhere of the Amazon jungle asking consul of our country for help.

We booked a day trip to Mont Saint Michel from Paris with GetYourGuide. Unfortunately, 2 days before the day trip we both got sick. We cancelled the trip and were assured by the provider that, because we had cancelled within more than 24 hours of the trip, we would get a full refund. The provider would refund to GetYourGuide, since they booked it, and GetYourGuide would reimburse us. However, once GetYourGuide received our refund, they refused to pay us asking us to jump through all kinds of hoops (get a doctor's certificate to prove we were sick, etc, etc.) even though they already had our money. It took a couple of weeks of daily phone calls and threats to get our lawyer involved before GetYourGuide refunded the cost of the trip (which, remember, they had ALREADY received from the trip provider). GetYourGuide is a third party trip consolidator, not a travel company and their shady (if not illegal) behavior regarding our refund should be a wake-up call for anyone considering using their (so-called) service.

I booked a trip to the Alhambra for 3 people. Received confirmation email. Everything seemed fine. The day before the trip I received a phone and it suddenly 'overbooked' We could go later in the day, but I had to check that first with my friends. I asked to call back, but I had to decide immediately! (I cannot decide for other people) I sended WhatsApp, it was read immediately but there came no answer (rude) They would pay me back... Then I received mail. In 2 weeks my money will return (this is possible immediately!) And if not, I can take contact... The e -mail does not state 'transfer' but 'canceled by civil unrest'! Unfair! Unfriendly! Unreliable!

We booked two places on a guided tour of San Marcos basilica in Venice Unfortunately our train to Venice was very delayed so despite leaving over an hour to get to the meeting point we literally had 15 mins. I message the guide directly on the contact number given and received no reply. No reply also from the Het Your Guide in app chat. In the end we waited less than ten minutes and paid less than 10 euros to see the basilica. get Your Guide will not give any refund or credit. Not worth the money and very poor customer service

Husband and I joined the small group walking tour of marseille on June 1. Our Guide was Charles. He is very personable, professional and knowledgeable of the city and history. Walking pace was just right . The 2 1/2 hours went by quickly and we definitely knew more about Marseille before we started! Highly recommended

I had a terrible experience much like those who have already written reviews. With confusing communication about whom to collect these passes from, I arrived to collect my passes a day into the five days. As such four days remained on the tickets. After my effort to visit two ticket booths, call the vendor phone number where I spoke with a local vendor on the phone, and an in-person conversation with an on-site representative, I was told that I could no longer receive my tickets. However, 4 more days remained on my pass for open access to all 3 locations. This was a blatant withholding of services paid for.

Bought same day museum ticket didn’t load spent hours trying to sort . Wasted over a morning to get sorted had enough asked for refund they would not do it. DO NOT USE COMPLETE RIP OFF

I purchased a tour of the colosseum months in advance for nearly $400. Within 2 minutes of purchase, I realized that with the international time change, I had selected the wrong date. I immediately called getyourguide Requesting a date change, not a refund just simply changing it to the next day. I also sent an email to the merchant, they both refused to be flexible at all. I can understand if I had waited days or even hours to notice my mistake, but 2 minutes? My large family travels very frequently and will NEVER use getyourguide again.

Nothing more than a middle man, wash their hands of anything further planning or information once they have your money. Their resolution for issues is " cancel for a refund " Really useful when you have planned and booked a trip while on holiday. Sold a trip that we were informed by our Hotel was illegal for tourists to do as per government instructions. Book direct with a legitimate operator and save yourself the stress of dealing with GYG.

Via Get your guide zijn we in contact gebracht met Esiness, Parga, Griekenland. Fantastisch dag gehad met chauffeur Dimitri en Nederlands gids Yvonne. Jammer dat we geen tijd meer hadden voor andere excursies. Echt voor herhaling vatbaar.
