“SCAM!!! They are not an American company, so they're not abiding to the laws here. They're from India. They tell you they take a $500 deposit and your money back guaranteed if you don't use it. I told them parameters to follow for a music video storyboard. Something that had 1 location and a couple of actors so it could stay low budget. They didn't listen to anything I said and had us at multiple locations, 50 actors and ending at a concert lol. That's a big budget music video and exactly what I didn't ask. When I told them I didn't think they were right for the job I told them I'd still be happy to pay them $150 to thank them for the work they did. They said they would only give me $300 back. Literally fighting over $50 dollars lol. These guys are clearly broke because they don't have any business. They're just using ChatGPT to write up a brief and are scammers. They'll tell you there's a backlog of refunds. It's been a year. There's no way it takes that long. They just waisted my time. Save yourself the money and headache of working with non itelligent people who don't know how to follow a brief and then don't refund your money. They're stupid because I would have paid tens of thousands if you would have followed a brief or at least been an honest man and accepted my $150 and given me my $350 back (even when I was promised my $500 back). Literally after 60 emails and 6 phone calls throughout the YEAR we agreed at refunding $350. They finally put in writing (see email below) that I'd have my money back and still, it HAS NOT BEEN DONE. They even threatened me while on the phone with them. These are not good people.”

I hired Ghostbook Writers for their editing, publishing, audiobook, and formatting services, having written my books myself. Unfortunately, the entire process was frustrating from start to finish.
The books were formatted incorrectly, with different font sizes in various sections, leading to an unprofessional appearance. Worse yet, 100 copies of my book were printed and had to be refunded due to poor formatting conformity. I was misled into paying a few thousand dollars for an audiobook version and a Wikipedia page, which I was assured would boost sales. However, seven months after publication, there is still no audiobook and no Wikipedia page.
This company is a scam. They will take your money and deliver the poorest quality product imaginable. Despite their employees having Americanized names such as Mark Wilson, Mark Williamson, or Richard Wright, they all have difficult-to-understand accents and clearly work in non-American time zones. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of integrity ingrained in this company.

“For anyone looking to have any work done by GhostWriters (Wisdom Writers) please do your due diligence. I had hired this company to format my 24 page childrens book for Amazon KDP Publishing. Thats it, just formatting! That was December 5 2022, it is now January 26, 2023 and after 5-6 versions they provided to me its still not formatted correctly! In between this time the person handling my project went silent for a while , when she finally got back to me she had stated she was out due to a personal matter. We continued on with still no success and then at some point she sends me an email stating she is no longer working with the company due to personal health issues and my project would be passed onto another person. At this point being it had been over 2 months, I kindly asked for a refund. The new person wanted to get on a call to discuss this and asked for an opportunity to finish what they agreed to do but I stated at this point it has taken so long I was not happy with their service and just wanted a refund. Well of course as I expected, they were not open to just saying sorry you experienced this and we will provide you a refund. Instead they escalated it to another manager who insisted that they speak to me on the phone. I spoke with this manager via text because I wanted everything discussed documented and I told him I didnt want to verbally speak on the phone in case I they are trying to screw me over as I already felt now this was all bascially a scam. 4 days ago I hired a freelancer from FIVERR to do this which is what I should have done form the beginning. The freelancer did the job in 2 days! I told Ghostwriters this and then they still said well let them try and finish the job. Why would I do that for when the job was already done now and they couldnt deliver for over 2 months! Their response to that was well you didnt tell us you hired another company so its basically not our fault. What a lame excuse! “I agree with the Review from Rik King! After paying for them to edit our first book, I basically had to re-edit the entire book! Talk about a waste of time AND money!
We also had paid upfront for them to ghostwrite our 2nd book. The writer for this project was absolutely horrible. Please make sure that you only pay for one project at a time as they will NOT be willing to issue a refund for uncompleted projects that have yet to be started if you're not satisfied with the current project.
I paid for 3 projects. The first ghostwriting project was an epic fail. The writer appeared to be writing in circles with no logic in the structure of the chapter. Since we were not happy with the writing we cancelled the remainder of the writing.
I also cancelled other services that had not been completed, but the company informed me that they couldn't issue a refund because they can only do so if the work is not "based on your given topics, guidelines and approved outlines." So, if the writing relates to the outline, but doesn't make sense, you won't get a refund.
The book cover we paid for was also not worth the money we paid for it.”

They were also supposed to do the cover art. Repeatedly I would explain what I needed, and repeatedly they would do something else. Not just something else but something nonsensical. They never did get the cover art done correctly for the hardback cover. I finally just gave up on them.”
