“I have gone through nearly all brands of camp food provided by REI, and this brand is by far the best! Not only in quality ingredients but most importantly in flavor and portion size. With only water required to rehydrate, I would argue the flavor is better than even routine take-out back at home! This is the only brand I take with me on all my treks and I can't recommend it enough. The only downside is that since it is a premium meal, it's not the smallest package and therefore not ideal for ultralight and the bare minimalist. But if you can carry the extra weight, then you are going to thank yourself later when you're able to treat yourself to such a delicious meal at the campsite at the end of a long day of traveling!”

“You could be camping, sailing, on the go, in a power outage, or in a pandemic where shopping access might be difficult... or simply not feeling like cooking... there is GTG to the rescue! Great and healthy meals that feels like comfort home cooking.”

“Great service, best camping food on the market for sure ;) Real ingredients = real food! It could all have less spices though I think. It would be 100% delicious Thank you for making a great product! The breakfasts meals are incredible!”

“I have used Good-To-Go products since 2019. This includes thru-hiking the John Muir Trail and Long Section hikes on the Appalachian Trail. The meals are delicious, filling, and the packaging holds up extremely well in a bear canister or food bag. They have a variety of dietary options, the meals rehydrate well, and I use them to start and finish each day of backcountry adventuring.”

“Put in a pretty decent sized order with the Pho promotion. The packaged shipped within a day and I received it within 72 hours! And I live half-way across the country. Meals are delicious and I appreciate the straight forward ingredients. Definitely recommend for backpackers or even anyone who wants to buy some easy ready-made lunches.”

“I absolutely love Good to Go meals for their quick, tasty, and healthy plant-based meals. I am a professional photographer who since the Covid shutdowns has spent more time exploring the outdoors shooting in nature. Good to Go offers easy-to-pack meals that are good for on the road, on adventures, and delicious enough to often be a quick healthy meal even when home. Thanks so much Jen and Dave for the wonderful food. As an owner of a small Maine business myself, it is also a bonus to be able to support another local small and growing business. “I have eaten the Thai dish so far and it was delicious! I recommend letting soak for more than 20 minutes. I was not at high altitude but the peas were still a bit hard after 20 minutes.”

“We bought two breakfast items (oatmeal and granola), I loved the granola (full disclosure- normally I am not a big oatmeal fan). We also purchased four meals, single serve to test them out. Loved loved loved the Thai Curry. (Spicy!) Trying the other too soon, I have faith they will be wonderful. I emailed the company and the turnaround time was quick, professional, and helpful. I am over the moon this is a local US based, locally produced and nothing we don’t need in the mixes.”

“I initially was just curious about GTG as meals for sailing for this summer 2021. So I tried a few meals beforehand; the risotto, the Pad Thai, the pasta and how could I not try the Mexican Quinoa bowl...I felt since GTG co-creator is a Chef from NY (now living in beautiful Maine with her husband and their dog)...the food must be amazing! My work is usually 12 hr shifts working with patients with COVID-19... and then I head to a hotel room (since we are isolated from our families)... I boil water (don't recommend hotel water, bring bottle water) and add it to GTG pouch et voila... home cooked meal in about 15 minutes! I simply cant tell you how wonderful it is to have a hot meal after our long days! But, when you open the pouch that has self cooked and you are met with the smell from Italy, Thailand, Mexico... then comes the taste! This ranks as comfort food from heaven for me! I have Type 1 Diabetes so I always look for food that can hold my glucose from falling to low (it even tells you on the pouch how many calories each meal has...how cool is that?) and I won't crash in the middle of the day or night while working with our patients! It has been a difficult year for everyone around the world... my secret now is GTG takes me away to these far away exotic places (Thailand, Korea, Italy, Mexico etc) if just for a few minutes! I tend to get the 5 day supply box or 15 meals (1 or 2), easy and so fresh! Now, if summer can just get here for me to escape on a sailboat with these amazing meals! Thank you to everyone at GTG from creating the meals, packaging and following up on our orders, you have all made such a difference during this difficult time. You got to try this!”

“I picked up couple of different meals from Johnson Hardware last year while thru hiking the Long Trail SOBO in Vermont. These were the first Good To-Go meals I had tried and they were really great. I'm leaving this weekend to thru hike the Benton MacKaye Trail SOBO and I purchased all 15 dinners and split up with two meal drops. For taste and calories, these meals can't be beat after a long day of hiking.”

“I purchased one each of the Good To-Go meals for a solo motorcycle trip. I was avoiding all hotels and tried to camp where I could. The Good To-Go meals were perfect! I was happy with the taste and the servings size. I will be purchasing more for my next trip! Bonus... I live just down the road from their office, so I was able to pick my order up and save on shipping!”

“I took the Pad Thai on an 8 day backpacking trip and it really hit the spot! So tasty and flavorful - it didn't seem like "trail food" at all. I had the Veggie Korma as well and - just loved having new and complex flavors and veggies at the end of a long hiking day. This company is committed to high quality delicious and nutritious foods and using high quality ingredients without harmful and weird additives. Will definitely be bringing them along again!”

“Every single thing I've had from here is delicious. This in itself should be a selling point, but what originally attracted me to Good To-Go were the ingredients. It's almost impossible to find trail food that is as simple and healthy as this.”
