My initial contact with your sales office by phone was a very positive one. They told me they could fulfill my order of bulk bag pebbles and membrane and suggested how they could help with how it was delivered and took payment, I had an e mail that was not a proper invoice of my payment amount but simply said the delivery was pending. A few days later I got another e mail saying that they were not able to meet my order and it had been cancelled without any reference or feed back to me. I phoned the sales office only to be told they were not going to deliver as no suitable vehicle was available! Yet the web site says they can deliver all over the UK. Again I had to check if a refund had been made as no conformation was received on this. A very unprofessional procedure and total lack of consideration to a potential customer as this was to be the first part of a much bigger order. I will never use your company again and have advised my contacts of my poor experience with you.

I asked you to deliver the goods through my gate but you dump an 850g bag of gravel on THE ROAD!!! How exactly you expected me to move this to prevent a fine from the council is beyond me....I was extremely disappointed as I have specifically communicated with someone at your company about the delivery as I requested it on Saturday and you ignored this and delivered on a Thursday which was extremely unhelpful.

Hi, Sorry for the problems, The delivery driver will do his best to put the gravel i the place required but this is not always possible.

1. The driver, (who was a lovely, helpful guy) turned up on his own. He was unable to move the 1 tonne bags with the equipment provided. I had to help him constantly for about two hours (had i been employed by the company i would have breached several serious health and safety guidelines). 2. Even with two of us (Francis and I, (please don't scapegoat him he was really helpful)), there were several times when the tonne bags almost fell into the middle of the road, blocking an entrance to a nursery school. It was only through Francis' expertise, risking serious injury, this did not happen. 3. One pallet did break and a tonne bag ended up in the middle of the road, i had planned to report it to the police as it effectively blocked the school entrance. In the end, Francis and i had to shovel furiously for 30 minutes to clear the road. Some product was lost in the process. I have taken photos to support this, i eagerly await your response. I'm a landscaper in Brighton and unfortunately this company was excruciatingly rubbish at customer service, Ignoring delivery dates requested by their website on ordering and then dealing with stroppy employees on the phone. Not worth the hassle to deal with again.

It is now 1545 and even though I understand that you only give a delivery day i would have thought that's phone call would have been a good idea with an approximate time of delivery.

Ordered some blue slate chippings on a weds, chose the Friday as delivery day. Nothing turned up and we had no contact to say what the problem was, when I called it kept going to answer machine. Finally on the Monday I got an email saying they were too busy to deliver and they would deliver the following Friday. We specifically needed the delivery as we had a project that needed finishing and the customer service was non existent. The product was good but that was the only positive. Wouldn't recommend.

I was on holiday last week so payed an extra £5 to Graslands on top of the £10 delivery charge to choose the day of the 9th of September for delivery of my 2 bulk bags of gravel - whilst on holiday I received a phone call from the delivery driver on the 2nd of September (a week earlier than I had paid for) to say he'd dropped my bags off but had had to drive on to my lawn to get past my car and drop them next to my back gates as instructed. If the delivery had been on the day I paid for I would have been there and moved the car - if the driver had phoned me before dropping off instead of after I would have refused delivery and saved the damage.When I returned home not only were there deep ruts in my lawn - the concrete lawn edging was completely broken in two places - (this edging was to keep the gravel from moving over my lawn and drive after I laid it). So I paid extra money to have my day of choice ignored and to have my property damaged when my purchase was to improve it. I phoned and left a message complaining and have had no reply. I was planning to use Grasslands again to finish my drive but I would definitely not recommend - if I don't receive recompense for the damage I will be suing.
