Five hour wait and - 120 excess for mileage to home garage as damaged caused by blow out ! Dreadful experience no updates no app working ! Mob running out no food no drink for five hours eventually home six hours later - - never use again !

We had a puncture on a little known road in the Yorkshire Dales. We had no idea where. A Green Flag transporter was with us within the hour. We used “3 words” and we were found quickly. The smiling, happy driver loaded our car and whisked us back home. The person at the end of the phone line was helpful and did her job with a smile (well, it certainly sounded as if she was smiling!). GREAT!!

Received my renewal letter. I rang and said I was cancelling policy as no need required. Month later received another years policy in post. Tried 3 times today to contact them on phone and after waiting 20 mins each time was cut off before speaking to agent. Will try again tomorrow. Why can’t they be contacted by email, it is 2022

Problem with brakes binding on caravan on first day of holiday in France, despite recent service in UK. tried garages locally, unable to get anyone to attend as English caravan. Remembered Green Flag! Spoke to Amy, who arranged with "Optimum" presumably French link with Green Flag. Attended, much to our relief, within the hour. Very capable cheerful, breakdown mechanic arrived and fixed problem within 20 mins. Thank you Green Flag most impressed.

Great service from Hough Green Garage today. Returning from our holiday in Wales the warning lights came on dashboard. As we had just passed Chester Services on M56 my husband drove to the first available exit to leave the motorway and parked in a layby. I phoned Green Flag and explained that car was loosing power and warning lights were on dashboard. Had a little difficulty with the App but Recovery Vehicle arrived within half an hour of placing the call. The lady taking the call was polite and reassuring and recovery driver was very professional. Our car was driven on to the pickup truck and we continued the journey home to Yorkshire.

I feel a bit guilty leaving a poor review because the driver who eventually came and transported me and my car away from the breakdown scene was nice. However I had to wait three and three-quarter hours for assistance. They were hard to get hold of and kept fobbing me off with predictions of one hour. Tell the truth from the start! That would help even if the news is bad. It is incredibly demoralising to expect something important like getting rescued and then being repeatedly let down. Another thing is the policy with our insurers includes towing but only for 25 miles I discovered the other night. They charged me nearly ÂŁ100 for towing an extra 25 miles, an unexpected cost.. I realise other people have even worse experiences but am investigating moving to another roadside rescue company

Absolutely disgusting experience and support last night cut me off after 40 odd minutes of waiting to get through to someone for an issue I flagged to them at 9PM to only have my call returned at 02.16am. You guys cannot be serious leaving people vulnerable out there!

Worst customer service specially Wendy who is very rude and arrogant unhelpful that lack professionalism and manners. Rabish breakdown service. Never again.

Fortunately, I've never had to call them out, but if I do, I hope their breakdown assistance is better than their admin and mobile app as they are both useless. The rest of us are in 2022, come on Green Flag catch up

Mayday is an arm of Greenflag and are recommended by the caravan club for breakdown cover. I have been with Greenflag for years. But no more. I went online to the mayday website for cover ticking the box for 2 vehicles cover, the other was one vehicle. It came back with a quote of ÂŁ105. I rang customer services to confirm other details, I also asked the full details of the cover, she said I wasn't covered for 2 vehicles ??. I'm confused. That would be another ÂŁ32 she quoted. So why is there 2 tick boxes ? with a tick for 2 vehicles.??. She replied I don't know what site you are on or what you are doing.....I'm on the mayday site how do you think I have got the ÂŁ105 quote..... Well it's an extra ÂŁ32 do you want it or not, as that is what it is. As I don't think you are putting in the right details, how many university degrees does it take to tick a box with 2 vehicles I thought. She sighed in impatience and tutting. I said thank you for your help I will go with the AA they are far more professional in the approach. And more professional with how to speak to potential customers, I have transferred to the AA. if that is how greenflag train the customer service staff then they can expect to be out of a job as people will walk to another company as I have done. Conclusion, I have gone with a company that respects customers.

After contacting Green Flag as I had broken down in a Shopping car park in Southend, they were able to get me back on the road within half an hour. I was very happy with the speed and service.

Rang Mayday/Greenflag which the caravan club recommend. I wanted cover for my motorhome, online quote of ÂŁ105 I went thru the online process indicating In the check boxes 2 vehicles. Which I assume as it says it covers 2 vehicles. Which gave me the ÂŁ 105 quote. I rang mayday to confirm my selection only to be told I need to pay an extra ÂŁ32 for an extra vehicle, the woman was very short in her seriously unprofessional attitude when I stated I had ticked the box 2 vehicles....No that's wrong she said ?? You don't know what your doing, so ticking the 2 vehicle box is not covering 2 vehicles I said. No your ÂŁ105 quote is just fir your motorhome and not your car as well. So I asked so why have the 2 vehicle tick box then ?? And the final 105 quote. Her reply was well I don't know what site you are in but that's the quote you will have to pay. I said I'm on the mayday site I know where I am. And I know what I'm doing. She sighed as if annoyed, and a reply do you want it or not...my reply was I will go with the AA they are far more professional and approachable with there attitude. I have been with green flag for years but after that escapade never ever again. They have lost my custom for good.

For the first time ever we called out Green Flag. What a total waste of time. A nice lad, but with absolutely no electrical diagnostic testing equipment how are you going to manage and diaognose the faults on today's cars. We will be voting with our feet and going to the AA. Our visit a total waste of time, and we have wasted our money for years.

I have been a policy holder with green flag for over a year. Today unfortunately my gear selector on my car failed. I call up for road side assistance on was told my policy has been cancelled due to my partner been given a good deal in corporating both our policies. I have my policy paperwork in email and my partner has no idea what they are talking about. I was left at the side of the road and told I would have to pay ÂŁ158 for recovery! Avoid at all costs!I ended paying a private recovery company to recover my car.

Whilst the recovery driver was sent to the wrong post code by their colleague H couldn’t be more helpful, professional and caring ensuring we fully understood the problem, what was to be done to get us home safely. He clearly knew what he was doing and what we needed to consider. Thank you

My car broke down on 7th of May and was undriveable. My call was dealt with by Tony who was sympathetic and dealt with things quickly and efficiently. A truck picked up the car within an hour ,driver again very pleasant and efficient. My regular garage was closed so the car was taken home and then picked up again this morning to deliver it to the garage for repair. I was very impressed with the service overall. Thank you

Hi my name is Mr Harris i broke down yesterday 5th May, my wife rang Green flag they sent a man out he arrived ten minutes later, un believable, he spent a couple of minutes under the bonnet got the car started, he was fantastic very pleasant new exactly what he was doing absolute pleasure, I would have give him a tip but got no cash on me, Thank You Green Flag, superb Mr & Mrs Harris
