I ordered 4 tickets to the zoo and only got three. They REFUSED to refund my last ticket and I eventually had to dispute with my credit card company. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I told them I’m going to end up disputing the charge and they literally just said go ahead. Like, what the heck? If you can’t provide a service, don’t take money for it!

I ordered a bag on Groupon. When I finished processing the payment, a voucher.was sent to me and I followed the instructions to redeem the voucher. Next I was directed to another website which is VFOX, I was instructed to pay a $6.99 for shipping and handling which I paid. After one month of not receiving the bag I contacted the company, I was told they did not ship the item, because they’re very busy with orders. I find that to be very suspicious so, I contacted Groupon and received absolutely no help. They kept telling me someone will follow up with an email and no one did. Groupon customer service is very unprofessional. Also I ordered a blue toy for a boy from Groupon and they sent a pink I wrote a review on the item and they blocked the review. I am taking this app off my phone for good. Never again.

Gave 30day free trial and after I canceled I was still billed for the next month on the first day they billed me I contacted them via live tx of course and was told they wouldn’t refund my $5 guess they needed it worse than me if they do this to thousands of ppl tho guess how much they are stealing from consumers what a bunch of thieves BEWARE GROUPON IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY

We booked this holiday through groupon, as a tour package called 777.. actual COST $777 each X3 We live in Sydney, but booked Melbourne to China, even though we'd have to pay for domestic flights too, as Sydney was sold out, but we thought it'd be worth it as the deal was so cheap. We contacted SNA many times to find out the actual day the flight leaves, always they said, we're not Sure probably 7th or 8th November. Finally we get confirmation after months of calling, that the flight is on the 8th Nov, and flights always leave in the afternoon around 4 to 5 pm so you'd be safe to get there about 12-1pm Many times we asked SNA to send confirmation of tickets to both adults emails we originally gave, as the phone with one of the email addresses is shattered, and we're locked out of the email, as we don't have email password nor original phone number, they continuously ignored our request to do so. After they confirmed the flights for 8th Nov in July /Aug, we booked flights melbourne, for the 7th.. and hotel. Two months after they confirmed the flights for 8th Nov, a women from SNA, called me in Sept, and said, "sorry, your travel dates have been changed for the 7th of November, i started bawling my eyes out, crying "but you told us that it's definitely the 8th of Nov, and we've already booked domestic flights to melbourne for the 7th, and hotel.. Eventually she got back and said, 'yes it's ok your flights are now confirmed for the 8th again" I asked, where is the tickets, I've given you the correct email address 6 times, still we received nothing That's when I really started to panic and called groupon, in October, telling them of the situation, how I feel they can't be trusted, changing dates and ignoring both our request for plane tickets ect to be sent to correct email.. Groupon didn't care less, stating the vouchers had been redeemed in August already by merchant, no refund allowed This is where it gets really ugly... The morning of the 8th Nov, I called SNA from the melbourne Hotel, panicking, pleading, "where's our tickets, we've still not received them, he said" your flights have just left, 9am" I cried we were told the flight leaves around 4-5pm!" He said," your tickets were sent to you via email, in October.. I started bawling," nooo you didn't send them, I don't have them, you've made a mistake, and the flights we were told always leave in the afternoon, around 4-5 pm latest" He asked, who told you this, I told him his name, and stated 'he even said he confirmed with a supervisor "he argued," no he didn't.. a woman then took my call and told us to go straight to the airport and explain what happened to the airline, China Southern Airlines.. When we got to the airline, we were told by the manager of China Southern, "we can't help you, its our policy, no show no go, we can't arrange another flight, even if there are vacant seats because, its against our policy, call the travel agency..by now we are all bawling our eyes out, trying to explain what SNA had done, but this Chinese man was so cold he didn't CARE, continuing to tell us, "I can't help!" . The agency called back, he, the supervisor said, you're just trying to blame someone, the tickets were sent your email address in October... "I had a nervous breakdown,, then and there, and kept repeating, but you didn't send them to the correct email address if you even sent them at all" he then hung up. My young son was on the floor bawling his eyes out.. a help desk referred us to a team of 2 who worked for airport, who help people in crises, to negotiate on their behalf with airlines... But they said China Southern are worst to deal with, ruthless, and have left the office.They then organised for jetstar to change our return flight to Sydney ASAP. Next flight avail was following day, 12.30 pm. We slept at airport overnight, 30 hours waiting to get home, from a trip to no where, all of us devastated. Total cost lost, $6000+. Visas, passports, hotel, domestic flights, taxis to and from airports, and over 2300 lost through groupon, I can't believe I trusted them after already one bad experience with a merchants false advertisement in groupon, which they refused to remove from their site even after I show them evidence of this illegal advertisement. Don't trust them, groupon, nor the merchant SNA... when groupon were notified, they asked for details of Events, total expenses lost, dockets ect, to be sent via email to groupon customer support, but before I had the chance to send anything they sent an email saying, not our responsibility, take it up with merchant your tickets were already redeemed in August this year. When I asked groupon, "why didn't you wait for details of events like you asked?", they sent practically the same previous email.. When I then threatened to go to media or lawyer, they replied, "go to third party, we'll tell them the same thing" We've all been so depressed for three weeks now, as we saved for this trip for years and lost it all, we feel totally scammed by groupon for ruining what was meant to be, the holiday of a life time for my small family.

Groupon is a terrible company with virtually no customer service. I ised groupon when i went to Universal Studios with my family in July. One ticket went through right away. The second one froze as the transaction was going through so I tried again and both froze. I was already at the gate waiting to get in so I attempted to cancel the transactions and paid for a ticket at the gate. I attempted to contact groupon immediately that day, which took tons of time away from our trip. The did not get back to me and later that day both chatges went through and i had no access to the two tickets I accidently purchased. I called my bank who tried to file a claim with groupon, but groupon refused it saying I had access to the tickets. Then i spent weeks trying to communicate thus with groupon and they were near impossible to talk to. When i did talk to someone he was extremely rude and did not understand what i was saying due to a language barrier. I tried to talk to managers who were non existent. Then, I received an email from groupon which pretty much said i was red flagged and was not sllowed to use groupon anymore, like I was trying to scam them. THEY SCAMMED ME OUT OF $240 dollars and now when I have put a call request in or try to message them they simply do not reply. They are a terrible company with terrible employees and terrible morals. I will never use them again and I am still furious about not getting refunded the money that I deserve. DO NOT USE GROUPON.

Order funky eye contacts they took the money off card I got proof they did and guess what now it's showing that the contacts are unavailable for me to purchase I wouldn't buy from them again if it had to save my life poor customer service very poor

Horrible service! I purchases a coupon, but the restaurant refused to redeem it as I didn't have any QR code (and Groupon never sent it to me). Later on I checked in my account but it said it was redeemed. I contacted their support and they said they will do something with it. I never got any solution and when I tried to login into my account it said the account is disabled! And no email address from them seems to be receiving my emails - all emails fail to go through. Never order anything with them!!!

The service I have received from Groupon as a first time user has been absolutely disgraceful. I purchased numerous items at the same time only for one of them to go missing and be told by the courier, when I was eventually told who it was, the postcode to the tracking number was incorrect. How can some be correct and ONE be incorrect? I received dispatch emails for all items apart from the one I have not received. To then be told it would be refunded, albeit not in full and not back to my card but to sit as a credit on my account. To also be told, the item I had originally ordered was no longer available in the colour I requested. To order this item in a different colour is going to cost me an extra £5!! I will order this item in a different colour but only because I do not want my money sitting in someone else’s bank account!! In addition to this, the only way I could fine to communicate with them is Live chat!!

Awful, awful, awful! Never again will I place an order thru Groupon and will tell everyone I know that their cust. serv. is NON-EXISTENT! Have gone thru the site a million times which is circular in trying to return an item - even tho' it says the item allows for free returns within 14 days. The men's tennis shoes I ordered are solid black, not greyish at all - and came in the wierdest packaging from CHINA - couldn't read almost any of the label!! Probably forced-labor produced. I hate them, but have tried for an hour to initiate the return process. GOOD LUCK trying to get a hold of customer service - when I finally found the number (elsewhere than on their website) the recording said "we're only doing online cust. support now"... but I followed their directions and still can't find a way to even email customer service. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. Never again! I'm giving the shoes away to a person in need and will never buy from Groupon AGAIN!

Groupon ratings are a joke. I bought a Voucher from Groupon, Had a horrible experience with the seller, who refused to honor the voucher. I was out the voucher money plus a deposit I had paid the seller for the service. I tried to leave a rating on the site and it was not possible as the seller hadn't redeemed my voucher. Only when the Merchant themselves redeem the voucher can you leave a rating. Therefore only the customers that have received good service leave ratings. These ratings CAN'T be trusted. P.S - Groupon replied to me completely ignoring their misleading rating system which is tricking customers by avoiding bad reviews and solely focusing on my bad experience with the merchant

I have no trust or business dealings with Groupon. Their refund policy is the worst. We bought train tickets for the Grand Canyon paid over $400 for them and due to road construction outside of our control could not make the train on time. Followed every rule to get a refund. The company that on the train indicated that they did not get any money from Groupon and told us they would recommend us for a refund, however, Groupon refused to give us the refund. That and to business is going belly up and getting nothing for purchasing an auto detail and another service product means I have lost more money than I have saved with Groupon I will never use them again And recommend others do the same. I’m only giving him one star because I can’t give them zero.

This was my first and most likely last transaction with Groupon. Received an email for $10 off my next Groupon purchase. Tried to buy 2 movie tickets for $17 dollars. Checkout said the coupon code wasn't valid. Looked at terms and conditions to see if I was doing something wrong. After finding nothing, I attempted to locate customer "svc". WTF? There is no easy way to get to customer support. When I FINALLY located it and started a chat session, the site disconnected me. I opened another session and the person told me that for the promotion to work, I need to purchase one item that is above $10, not just the order. Nowhere did it say this and the rep couldn't tell me where to find it. The email didn't state it; the terms didn't state that; only the rep stated that! Thanks for wasting my time!

I had an awful experience with customer service. They are extremely tight on dates and refunds. Why set such a short expiry time? Well this is clearly how they make their money as they don't expect half to collect their gift as they simply don't get chance to. Daylight robbery.

Bought a voucher from groupon for $49.99 to use at Wine Insider. I got the discount from the vendor, but groupon also charged my account for the $49.99. I ended up paying full price, for something I would not have purchased without the discount. Groupon is a complete scam!!! I will report them to the Better Business Bureau.

I bought a vacation from Groupon. It made it sound like one thing and when I tried to book it it became another. The airline that they tried to book me on is having financial troubles and on the verge of bankruptcy and they charge for bags over 22 lbs.... $100 per bag. My suitcase weighs 22 lbs. for 3 people that adds $300 to the cost of the vacation. They also charge for seat reservations and food.... this is a transatlantic flight. I told the tour operator I wanted to cancel, they told me I was eligible for a refund because we haven’t booked anything yet but I had to get a hold of Groupon for the refund. I contacted Groupon 1 week ago and they told me I would hear back within 2 days.... two days later I was told next Tuesday.... next Tuesday came and went now they are saying they don’t know when it will be done... It’s a rip off, don’t buy a trip through Groupon...

Got double charged the first charge supposedly got denied then the second one went through turns out the next day they did charge the 1st one and know they dont want to give us our money back already talk with my bank and groupon is really not trying to get me my refund back. Will never use groupon again.

Customer service is atrocious. Provide no help with poor performing merchants. Only interested in taking your money and refuse refund even when service has not been rendered and merchants not paid. Buyer beware patronize at your own risk
