Hi guys got 2 bulbs fitted ,but obviously they never fitted on in properly and now bulb keeps falling as they had not put the clip on .They won't accept responsibility but are quick blame to its the roads and my driving , if the clip had been secure like the one on the passenger side this would never happened. They now want me to buy a headlight after the problems they have caused me costing £600+. They are f***in crooks not to be trusted . This was in the Rutherglen branch

Purchased an e bike over a year ago, there were lots of issues with it, trips back to store, missed work days, I purchased a brand new battery that arrived and doesn't hold its power. They don't answer the phone, you end up arguing with a customer service team the other side of the country. The staff do not care they take weeks to resolve problems you don't get any money back for time wasted it's a bad retailer who doesn't care after they have their money I regret buying a bike from halfords it was a mistake

DO NOT JOIN HALFORDS MOTORING CLUB!!! IT IS UNCANCELLABLE! It auto renews and charges monthly / annually and only allow you a small window of a matter of weeks to cancel your subscription for the whole year! When I challenged the call centre agent the first thing they said was "it was stated in the TnCs which you had to tick to say you've agreed to" various court rulings on this type of sneaky term enforcement, look up some case law: inconsistent terms and conditions - wherever TnCs are non standard (I.e giving ridiculous windows to cancel annual subscriptions) courts will rule any non standard conditions DO NOT APPLY!!! INFURIATES me when companies try to manipulate customers like this. They are fully aware a huge majority will want to cancel so make it unnecessarily difficult in the hope you'll forget and they'll bill you forever. Wasted 45 minutes of my life trying to cancel and it's still active. Go elsewhere people, I had an eye opening experience on my most recent visit to auto centre - charging dealer prices but giving gypsy garage service. Absolute swindlers!

Worst customer experience of my life. Booked in for a roof box fitting. Nobody was aware that I was coming, even though id booked online weeks ago. Then i was asked to park on the pavement between two tight bollards outside the front of the shop (is this even legal to have vehicles driving onto a pavement outside of a busy shop front in the snow? It seems like a crazy health and safety issue to me, as it is designed as a public highway). Then the person who was installing the bars and roofbox said he was unaware it was required on the day and didnt know if he had the parts (asked if I had them) and then said he didnt have the staff to do the work, as if it was my fault for bringing it in. I mentioned i had booked weeks ago, then was told "we dont look at the diary that far in advance". Then when i came back two hours later for handover, i was informed the boot of the car hit the roofbox when it opened but that's "just the way it is". Even though i researched the roofbars and box and the models are compatible with the car. I asked if the box could be slid forward to avoid the boot and was told it would take too long to do on the day and would need to booked back in. Then i asked for all the manuals and spare parts and was told some had "gone missing" during the installation, and "that's Sundays for you". But not to worry as would try get me another "for free". Its not really free when I've already paid for the parts and a Halfords member of staff has lost it during installation. Then when leaving the tight bollard space due to the narrow width of the pavement (which isn't designed for vehicles) when pulling out of it, the corner of my car has been dented by the bollard due to the tightness, you can imagine how frustrated I was by this point. Halfords then got in touch and promised to pay for the repair to the car. I have it in writing from both the Durham manager and the customer experience representative, I then went and got the car repaired, sent over the invoice and they then refused to pay for the work as I was driving the vehicle. They fully backtracked on their promise which I find appalling and will be taking further. What a disgraceful establishment.

Booked in for a windscreen chip repair on weds 25/1. They never turned up, i had to ring them up at 7:30 to ask where he was. They said the mechanic wasnt trained in that job. No call or email to say he wasnt coming ao i waited all day for nothing. They booked me back in for 28/1 . Same guy didnt turn up again because still untrained. They tried booking me for a third time!!! Demanded a refund. Rang a total of 5 times before i got refunded. Dont bother wasting your time

Wish I had read some of the reviews for Halfords first! I went into branch to buy a roof rack and after checking they said they only had two parts of the kit in stock and would have to order in the third part. they said it should be in the branch the following week. I have spent two days trying to get an accurate update on where the part is. The guy in the shop gave me a direct number to call the branch when I paid for the goods. I called the shop for two days before i got a pick up. I also called the help center but they did not know and said the branch would call me. After the second day, I got an answer on the phone when I called the branch. They told me they did not know when the part would be in but would call me!

They cancelled my order and over a month later I had to go to PayPal to get my money back. Online chats were pointless - a reputable company would not do that.

Utterly appauled: All I want is a 7.5amp fuse for my car. Went to Sutton Halford most fuses out of stock. Then went to Epsom Halford again most fuses out of stock. Then phoned number on New Malden's web site which connected to a helpdesk phone number. After repeated explanation in detail what I needed the woman said she would contact branch. After a total of 40 mins on phone she advised store had some in stock. Went to store none available wasted petrol and time utterly appauling. Helpdesk pathetic and store's stock control in 3 branches non existent.

Ordered 3 De-Icers on 13 Dec 22 to be collected at Halfords Store Washington the next day. Total cost of £9 was taken from my PayPal account. One hour later received an email cancelling my order. Problem is that they kept my money. After the 30 days they give themselves in their Terms & Conditions to refund, I got in touch via chat and was assured that withing 24 hours the refund would be instigated - it was not. One week later contacted via chat again and was assured the same - again no contact from their Refund Team. I will now open a PayPal dispute which seems excessive for such a small amount - but they are not getting off with this daylight robbery.

Avoid.8h keep my car there for oil change. I pay top price for that 130 £ and treat me like rubbish. This teams from there is to lazy and have poor management of work, is last time when i use this service.

My son bought 2 tyres & dropped his car off for fitting. After waking around the city for 2 hours he thought he'd best go back as the car would be ready (No Staff at all rang him up). On arrival back at the store he was told that there there was a problem as they didn't have the tyres ?? Then staff told him to ring in a couple of days & they "should" have them in 🤣 To put the icing on the cake you still haven't refunded the £196.18 he paid you & it's been 7 days now. WHAT A COMPLETE JOKE - basically robbery of people's time & money 🤬

Ordered a turbo trainer online during the January sales. Waited two weeks for the trainer to arrive so I could collect it. On the day of arrival I was called and told they couldn't honour the price they had put up on the site. I can't comment about the store itself but I would advise against buying anything on their online store.

I have been waiting for a refund since 1st December 2022. I have contacted them numerous times and my bank manager has as well. Unfortunately to my annoyance l am still waiting for my refund. These people are nothing but a gang of useless zombies. 👎☹️👎

Ordered parts for home delivery, was told would arrive on or before the 29th, Not received, showing on website as in progress, emailed them no response, phoned them and was told get it by the 1st, Call them today to try and cancel, and have been told someone will call call me in 24-48hrs to cancel, I replied saying, no I want it cancelled today, and was told they can't do that. So avoid Halfords like the plaque.

Do not ever use Halfords especially for mobile fitting . I booked in a start stop battery change on for the first appointment to be cancelled at the end of the appointment window. I rearranged another appointment and again they failed to show and didn’t even contact me to notify me . I called customer service only to be told that they didn’t have the stock and the engineer had continued to his next job yet the tracking system showed the van was on its way then that the job was in progress , they clearly specify that they will call when on the way yet this process has never been followed, I made a third appointment and after calling customer service was told that the engineer estimated time of arrival was 9.43 and yet again as the window for appointment expired I received a text saying I would have to reschedule due to engineer being sick so yet again I’ve had to reschedule another appointment. I filed a complaint but they won’t respond It has so far cost me 3 days of time and money and a failure to even respond to my complaint or compensate me for my loss off time and money . I thought using a reputable company and using the mobile fitting to reduce inconvenience but it has created more than I could have imagined a company such as Halfords I thought I would get a 5 star service but this is sub zero standard and the service is the worst I have ever known.

Your service is shocking. I've booked and paid for "windscreen treatment" for 27th of December 10 am. Day before I got text message "Your vehicle RJ12EPZ is due at National Tyres on 27/12/2022. Please arrive 10 mins before. Track your vehicle's progress in the garage: ....". I arrived about 9.45 and garage was closed. After 40 minutes I gave up and went back home. I called Halfords helpline to get refund but guy told me I get refund within 4 working days. How can you treat customers this way? To sum up, I waste 1hours, fuel and money for nothing. Stay away from them!

Halfords promised me a refund since 1st December 2022. It's now 20th December 2022 and l still haven't received my refund. I rang them up and l contacted them online and they kept saying that I would receive my refund. I am still waiting for a refund. I feel neglected and very angry. These people are nothing but a gang of UNGODLY EVIL ZOMBIE HEATHENS.

Such a piss-poor company. Was supposed to receive my online order on Wednesday... It's now Friday! Tried to chat online repeatedly to complain and the lazy buggers are all offline! When you ring up you have suffer some disembodied recorded voice trying to waste your time and bump up your phone bill. You're then put on hold listening to some crappy irritating jazz music and you NEVER EVER get through to anyone!!! No stars is not an option so even giving them one is far, far more than they deserve... Shocking company!!!

I wish that I never used Halfords Autocentre Byfleet!!!! I booked my vehicle in here for its major service, which I paid for and booked online, and I booked a time slot for it. At the counter, they told me I could not wait indoors because it could take the whole day. I had to pay over £20 for a cab back home, and to get back here, another £20. Now if my vehicle had been fixed, it would have been okay, but it was not! My right indicator was still not working as I asked, and my engine management light was still on. My vehicle kept on losing power and struggling to pick up speed and get uphill! They did not fix any of the problems. I had it checked over by them again almost several days later and they said they cannot find any fault with my vehicle because their diagnostic machine does not allow them to read Mercedes fault codes, they do not do any wiring, and they can not fix my indicator. These people are either lazy and do not care or are not proper mechanics to complete such simple tasks. That day again I had to get two cabs wasting my money because they could not honour their time slots! One of the cab drivers even warned me about Halfords and their terrible service and the terrible service he had from that branch. They are only best for MOT’s. I am now stuck with a faulty vehicle, and Halford did not even tell me anything after the first service. I had to call back and drop the vehicle off again. They just passes a faulty vehicle back off to me saying that it was fixed! DISGUSTING service! I will not be back here and I will not recommend them and their below-standard services to anyone! I now have it booked elsewhere. PS Halford. I paid through Klarna. I have now disputed your payment with them! They have put it on hold. So good luck getting any more money out of me. I will be sending them my complaints for their records because I have a legal foot to stand on!!!!
