Very ignorant staff member who served me . I went to Selly Oak store to return an item and also to pick up a new order. I was asked for the receipt which I could not instantly find on my phone but she had the order receipt which was with the return item of which I thought was the receipt as it contained all the details of the purchase but she said was no good and I should of had the receipt ready on my phone before going into the shop, and I said there was nothing on the returns section that stated that otherwise I would of. She argued that it was, shame she obviously does not read her own business website. In the meantime I had then found the receipt but with the distancing rule you have in store she could not even see it anyway. Only for her to say it does not matter she sorted it anyway. So why did she not deal with it like that in the first place instead of all the caffuffle.

Absolutely terrible ordered a power washer on line got email to confirm pick up went to my local store 3 miles away no power washer in stock absolutely poor service never again

Just been to collect an order, had a message to say it was in two days ago so tried to collect yesterday after work. Queue was huge so gave up. Just been again to collect, to be told they're closing at 6. Explained I worked for the NHS and working all hours god sends, staff didn't seem to care even though it was 5 to 6, they weren't letting anyone else in. Guess you can cancel my order. Ordered a bicycle said it would arrive Saturday or before. It’s Saturday now and still no tracking no updates or anything rubbish service would not recommend Halfrauds to anyone

My wife had a windscreen wiper fitted that took two of them. The wiper came off scratching the windscreen so bad they had to fit a new windscreen. Lost a day off work, Customer Service is SHOCKING. Will never go there again!

I have found Halfords in Uxbridge to be the epitome of what customer care and good service to be all about. So refreshing to get happy smiling staff in a shop where you genuinely want help. I have used the car service for lamps and wipers and the bike service any number of times. I have had a full bike service, puncture repair, new tyres all sorts of purchases and every time I see to be served by someone new with the same philosophy. “Here’s an old bloke who needs help, let’s cheer him up!” Today I popped along expecting the store to be closed but they had a physical distancing policy in place that worked well. No one allowed in, parked bike outside, told Charlie ( for that was his name) from around 12 feet away, about my gears not working properly, he came out wheeled my bike away and 15 mins later it was back on the rack, he said “i only had to twiddle a couple of screws, so no charge”!!! I then pedalled off into a glorious sunny day for a trouble free multiple gear changing ride for a couple of hours much needed exercise. Thank you Halfords and bless you a Charlie and all the staff in these difficult times.

Bought halfords red universal cone airfilter and honestly couldn't be happier. It fitted perfectly onto my Corsa C 1.2 SXI twinport with no issues. As soon as it had been fitted took it straight out for a drive and it does do what it says on the box plus makes the engine sound a bit meaner but drives a lot smoother. Although the delivery was late I can honestly say I'm happy with my order.

Ordered a parcel from halfords on Friday which was meant to get to me on the Monday after or before, however arrived late on the Tuesday afternoon, however no one let me know it would be late until 3 hours before delivery.

Phoned customer service today. The duration of the call was over 45 minutes. I understand you are all busy due to this virus but I got hung up on. I urgently needed customer service and i feel let down. I have mental health issues and struggle as it is to communicate. This is unacceptable in any event. I have wasted what little money i had left to get some credit to get. I'm not on contract I pay as I go. Truly shocking.

I just wanted to say a huge thanks to the staff and in particular the young lady that answered the phone at the Lancaster Branch. I had a flat Battery on my discovery 3 and the Battery was under warranty. My Local branch at Kendal was closed and I had phoned the nearest branch to me at Kendal.This was on Sunday the 29th of March. I travelled to Lancaster the car was needed the following day to go to work in . The staff there were brilliant. Thanks once again

Got fitted in for last chance MOT as am a key worker. The team was very good car returned within the hour and was given 5.00 of quoted price. I am very grateful. A big thank you and all rules were in force at the centre Halfords by Jury's Inn Swindon well done 😁😁

Cannot believe that you are reopening the stores all over after only just shutting due to Coronavirus Putting all the staff at risk. So you say that no customer will enter the store and it will be on the car park deal , and everything will be done at the front of store , credit cards only But yet the machines for credit cards are plugged into your tolls. And I have never seen you use wireless ones, but also you will be putting you staff and customers at risk cos some one still has to do the machine With the customers so how exactly is that going to work distances between staff and customers Lock down means lock down this is the only way we can control this contagious virus from affecting and killing our loved ones we need to just remember how Italy are not coping with this situation and look where it’s getting them more deaths and younger people every day So for god sake of not just the staff/ customers shut the shop And stop penny pinching

Hi, I want to share my opinion on the staff at Halford Bolton as of today, I had an hour to spend my Van for MOT at 12.40, I was there at 12.30, but due to a viral virus it was written on the site that the store was down and not even working I saw nothing, went outside the door of downtown Mott and waited half an hour for the attendees to look at me smartly and laugh. Then one of the employees came to me and told me that I was already late to get to my garage because I had to be there at 12 and 40 and was there to go to the reception, given that a virus was announced today that did not more people should be approached 2 meters away. I was standing in front of the garages, which saw me very well and could come to me and make fun of me and finally kicked me out of the workshop. He was not interested and shut up, so at this point it is very, very bad and he talks very bad in semi -ford and just thinking of taking people's money and then chasing them like a wild dog. I'm very disappointed with their attitude and the attitude they told me and I have no words at all, they took my money, they didn't even want to talk to me on the phone about my situation and they didn't even give me explanations, they just kicked me out of the service and hang up. That's unacceptable. I took my car to Halfords Bishopbriggs, it was needing a new brake light bulb, I was there about 10 minutes and the job was done, the staff were friendly and helpful it was reasonably priced and I was given a spare bulb, I would highly recommend Halfords

I purchase a 'Dashcam' from Halfords Yeovil a couple of months ago, and had it fitted by them, in my nearly new Vauxhall Mocca X. Everyone involved at the Yeovil depot were 'first class', and extremely helpful, (especially, the engineer who carried out the work), it was completed very quickly, (and cleanly), without any damage to the vehicle, (indeed, it was so good, it could have been 'factory fitted'. We were very pleased with the product, except my 'wife and I' (being not in the first 'bloom' of youth), were confused about some of the technology, a further visit quickly 'ironed out' our problems, as the engineer quickly, and simply explained 'everything' to us, so 'First Prize' Halfords Yeovil....So why then, have I only 'rated' them 3 stars, well, it was nothing to do with the Yeovil Branch, (who as you can read, really deserve 10 stars. I suppose that really, it's probably my own fault, as thought I rarely, (or almost never) take credit, this time, (having recently purchasing the 'new car'), I decided to take the offer of 12 interest 'free' payments, and this is where it 'all went wrong', as after Klana sent me a confirmation of my direct debit agreement, within weeks demanded another payment, I then tried to contact Klarna U.K. (Don't bother !!!), as after reception put me through to finance, I spent over an hour 'waiting' only then to be told, it was the 'wrong extension', I then received another demand from Klarna, (plus a 'fine'for 'late payment') well, as I told them, ''It's a Direct Debit for God's sake' 'you' determine when the payments 'taken'....I then contacted them 'online', no luck there either, so in 'disgust', I 'paid the off', and cancelled my Direct Debit....So Halfords Yeovil 10 start....Halfords financial Director, (Or whoever decided to use Klarna)....Minus 500...SO, WHATEVER YOU DO, 'DON'T TAKE HALFORDS 'CREDIT'....

Good store but kicked me out because my mates were messing about and I didn’t do nothing I just went to buy a inertube personally I think u should only ban people messing about not when there buying something and u locked my mates in the lift and I got a vide...disgraceful!!!

Halfords in store Stroud. Very rude staff. My girlfriend asked for Mann oil filter (usually +/- £14) quoting reg number and showing my text to her of what was wanted. She was sold cheaper filter (+/- £4) for £8. My good lady is not mechanically minded and Halfords saw her coming!!! Sold something not wanted and ripped off as well. When I returned the unwanted filter I was met by a rude member of staff, then two and eventually a third. Gang mentality and not helpfull. Denying my lady asked for Mann filter and denying they were shown text with details. Ripped off and sold something that was not asked for. Plenty of other places to buy from. Next time I will order online from the comfort of my home from people who are happy to sell you what you want but NOT HALFORDS. VERY BAD SERVICE!!!
