Not told by Holiday Autos when I made my booking that Firefly would add a senior driver charge which exceeded the rental cost . Had no option but to accept this when I picked up the car. I regard this practice as dishonest and underhand so will never use this lot again and would advise others to beware of them. On top of this the car was covered in dents and in a bad, dirty state. Companies like this know that you are on holiday and dependent on them so can rip you off. Despicable.

I wouldnt even give them 1* review! The booking process was simple enough. However, we arrived in Valencia after a very early morning flight with two young kids, exhausted. When we got to the rental desk, they didn't have our reservation. After -5 minutes the desk clerk (i must add that the Alamo staff are so friendly and helpful), realised that our reservation had been made to collect our car from the train station in the centre of Valencia. We had booked for Valencia airport, and knew we hadn't made a mistake, and even proved this by going on the holiday autos website and went through the steps to make a new booking, and the train station doesn't even come up as an option, so how could we have booked it. They had no automatic cars there that could fit us all in with our luggage. After an hour of the airport staff talking to the train station staff, we were told that we had to travel there to collect our car, which was a 20 minute drive. Luckily the staff arranged a lift in two cars, from their friends who drove us and our luggage there. When we arrived the staff were amazing and so helpful, but the only car they had for us was a Qashqai, which we gave at home and know we cannot safely fit everything in to. We had purposely chosen a more expensive class of car, to ensure it was big enough for our needs, and had even emailed Holiday Autos to confirm this after we booked. As there was no other option, we had to squeeze our two kids in between suitcases and drive with almost zero visibility for 40 minutes on motorways and winding roads, seriously unsafe and scary! I messages Holiday autos through the Resolver website, as i couldn't find any contacr for complaints for them online. After two days of emailing back and forth, they agreed to escalate the case with higher management and told me i would hear back from them. I have no returned from my holiday and hear nothing. I emailed again today only to be told my case had been closed, without them even bothering to apologise or compensate us.. When I objected and demanded they reopen the case, i was told that once higher management closed the case, that was it. I am shocked and to be honest disgusted that such a well known company can treat customers this way and get away with it. Don't touch them a with a barge pole, even if they offer the cheapest rate!!

Having rented cars in Canada for many years . This year we paid up front for a car through Holiday Autos in Canada. Over 1000 £ . My wife is the driver but our credit card is in my name and so Hertz would not release the car which has never happened before. Holiday Autos then refused to return any of the money despite the fact that they had to pay nothing to Hertz because no car was actually rented. Holiday Autos will screw you on the small print and keep your money for doing nothing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

This company does not deserve even a 1 star rating. My husband has never taken out additional insurance in over 40 years but this company said we agreed to it and overcharged us by 4 times the agreed amount. When my husband questioned them they said it would be refunded on our return with a full tank of petrol. This has never been done and you cannot speak to anyone to complain. Never go with them again. Carole and Robert Booty - still waiting for refund . If this isn’t forthcoming Facebook will be our only option

Avoid Avoid Avoid!!! Both Holiday auto's and Inter Rent like the plague, they have terrible service when you pick up and even the worst service when you call customer services. Note you only have 3 hours to pick up your car and if your flight is delayed and the rep isn't there to pick you up, you then stand the chance of like us losing you reserved car and needing to pay for an upgraded car... in our case and extra £350 - this is a con, just pay more and avoid these guys!

I rented a Car from AVIS through holydays Autos and I discover that they did not have an office in AZ airport and and they return only partial of my payment Very poor agency

Booked a small car. Gave me totally different enormous car, unsuitable for the area. Tried to get a refund. Impossible task. No replies to email. Did live chats but these go nowhere. Website Manage Bookings to lodge complaint does not work. Customer service non-existence. Use this company at your peril!

I pay for my booking. I didn't get the car at all. Nobody cared about it. I was left alone with my wife and two kids.

I will never deal with this company again. Rented a car for a week pre paid because of a flight delay they gave car away but refused to refund my money so I had to hire another car plus insure new car, I am currently paying for a car I havnt actually got and insuring it !!!!!!!!! The people I have spoke to are rude and unhelpful would never recommend this company they are the worst !

VERY BAD COMPANY AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THIS COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN AVOID ANY AFTER CARE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. EASE GO ELSEWHERE AND SAVE YOURSELF LOTs OF HASSLE. THERE ARE PLENTY OF BETTER COMPANIES OUT THERE CHEAPER MORE RELIABLE FRIENDLIER AND LESS EXCESS PRICES AND COSTS.

Neil Xavier of Holiday Autos is an absolute disgrace. He was rude and condescending whilst dealing with my complaint. I will take the matter further directly with Holiday Autos, who are quite frankly fraudulent, but in the meantime, enjoy your minimum wage Neil...you deserve it.

This company is an utter disgrace. They are fraudulent beyond measure. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I sincerely hope your company is liquidated at the very earliest opportunity. It is time the Authorities regulated vermin like this properly.

I will never use holiday autos again ... Although I. admit I didn't read the small print .. the fact remains I. Did not receive my car and they kept my money! (I will not waste any more of my time explaining the Debit card saga.. I will simply warn other potential victims across all social media.

having used this company I would never again nor would I recommend, my flight was delay and also was delay at airport due to having to wait on wheel chair assistance from air craft to terminal. As a result I was over 2 hours late getting to pick up car. The rental company easyrent say they do not hold cars over 2 hours, which to me is unacceptable for airport car hire, they say in terms and conditions they do not hold for late pick ups but a time limit is not mentioned anywhere. Full details of there replay is below and costs Booking Ref: GB619482750 Holiday Autos Ref: 01134619 Dear Michael, Thank you for your patience. I apologise for the delay in responding to you. We have received a response fro the rental location and they advised that your rservation was used and a charge for an upgrade was applied to your reservation. An upgrade was not requested but was told that was only vehicle available. Cost for upgrade vehicle 154.02 euro and initial payment lost 113.54 Total cost of Car hire 267.56. Every effort is made to accommodate changing pick up times, but the car rental agent is not always in a position to hold the booked vehicle after the pick-up time has passed or to keep the rental desk open. At Holiday Autos, our customer is our primary concern, but we must stand by the rental Terms and Conditions that you agreed to at the time of booking: "If: 2 - You failed to pick up the car at the arranged time and date, no refunds will be made to you." Please be advised that the above mentioned terms and conditions were delivered to you prior to completing the reservation (it is mandatory to tick the box "I agree to the terms and conditions"). They were also displayed on your confirmation voucher sent to your email address on Mon, 17-Jun-2019. Therefore, due to the fact that the terms and conditions were not met (you were late), the agreement was signed and the vehicle collected, we are unable to offer you a refund of the funds paid on this occasion. Every effort is made to accommodate changing pick up times, No effort was made as it been an airport car hire, the hire company did not check flight status or try to make any contact with me. I do recommend that you contact your travel insurance company, you may find you are entitled to claim a refund. Alternatively, you can contact your airline to find out if they are in a position to offer you compensation for the inconvenience caused by flight delay. Quite simply, avoid this company at all costs. They are obstructive, unhelpful and devious when obtaining a refund. The refund process on the site is set up to completely frustrate and deter you. There are many more reputable and trustworthy sites out there. Use those for satisfaction. Once again, avoid this company when hiring a car abroad.

Do not use this company I have hired cars in Corfu for years with no problems but this is the first time I used these cowboys and after arriving in the rain they inspected the car and put down the marks which in the rain you cannot do a full inspection upon returning the car they charged me for a small mark on the front bumper which had no signs of recent scrapes but they said wasn’t on their sheet which I never got a copy of I pointed out several marks on the same bumper which they said were previously there but this one wasn’t they charged me for a full respirated of the front bumper for a mark smaller than a pound coin as I work in insurance I asked them to send me confirmation of when the car had been repaired which they replied we don’t repaint till end of season so I questioned their financial loss as there is several marks on the same bumper all age old which I believe will have been charged for a re paint and as the work had not been done they have not suffered any financial loss and have double charged for the same job st chichi point they offered me the admin fee to be removed as this was taking an age to sort and the gear of missing my flight I have paid the extortionate bill but will be back on May to check the work has been done and if not I will be taking these to court as every car they have had damage and I don’t believe they repair it but just make money on innocent people STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Terrible company! I found a rental car service through Holiday Autos, and rented a car though them at Centauro car rental at Barcelona airport. Holiday Auto failed to warn me about necessity of International driver's license at Centauro. We were forced to pay around 130 euros for full coverage. Holiday Autos refused to give us back $63 for insurance that we bought from them, but did not need. It is a horrible company of scammers! Never use them!
