“Am a second buyer at homechoice,,,,however agents are calling me daily saying that they cannot debit,,,I did inform them that I have never ever received a mandate which I must approve via my bank app,however i did recieve my purchase still,,,and I did ask them to rectify,,,on Saturday on the 18th,,,,today another agent called me asking me when am I making a payment,,,,I was surprised ,,because am still waiting to receive the "mandate" to approve the debit ,,hence am not a first time buyer I've never experienced such,,,,to a point whereby agents are shouting at customers,,,,”
“I ordered a sound system with Home choice on August and I received a message from their head office that my delivery is on the way.I went to the store(mall of tembisa)several times to ask about the delivery but the staff was very rude I only got one respond that they will call me when my order has arrived and they never did.i went there after a month I asked the same question and I got same respond that I should go home n wait so I told the lady to help me cancel the order n she refused telling me that whose going to pay for that order and they cannot sell it again ,mind you I didn't even receive the other n also is not at the store so she asked for my details saying that she want to cancel the order but no she did a stop order for me.The frustrating part is that they call me 7 time a day bullying me that I should pay for my order n they always sending me messages that I should pay.
So the bullying continued until today there still continuing calling and sending messages.i tried calling their office but the guy told me that is non of their business that the bank is charging me for not paying that stop order .
I told them to cancel my account with them and they refused so this is totally fraud and I don't ever wish buying at home choice.such a bad service with unprofessional staff 🚮🚮🚮.very disrespectful I remember the last time was buying the pots and the two ladies (employees)where laughing at me telling me why did I choice those pot I should have taken the other one and why do I have to buy expensive pots at home choice where I could just go to a Makula store and buy nice pots with a reasonable price ....and I regretted for not listening to them because the pots are horrible ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜”

“I paid up my homechoice account in June 2024. I have a paid up which I’ve mailed to homechoice but I’m not getting any communication from them, I try to call everyday and the consultants keep on transferring me to the legal department which they don’t even answer calls. I call the legal department almost everyday and not even on a single day I’ve spoke to anyone from that department”
“I’m very disappointed at the had service I have been receiving at home choice. I placed an order in July and when it came back it was a wrong item so I requested for a return. The parcel has been picked up since the 29th of July and up to this date I have not received my refund of more than R3000. I’m very disappointed because I thought home choice is a genuine shop. I orded pots, upon recieving them they were posts missing so I sent them back but didn't order again. They kept debiting my account. I called, my money was returned but they never stopped. They debited R958.57 and when they returned it they returned R777.25.what happend to my R181? Is this how they scam people??”

I have just spoken to one of your rude staff ,she dropped the phone while I was still talking , I was explaining to her that I don't have an account or owe you anything and I feel I'm now being harassed by the store. “My experience has been absolutely horrible. Staff members are extremely rude and they refuse to assist with anything. I made an oder they took the money off my account and then apparently said I never paid them even though i had proof that the money went off my account. After fighting with them for weeks they eventually allocated my payment. Then it took them over a month to deliver my parcel and all pf it didn’t even come!!!! A month after the rest of my parcel arrived and it was used and in very bad condition. I will NEVER order from there again.”
“I made 2 claims and they said that the problem wasn't caused by normal wear and tear. 1 was my AC unit and the compressor had gone out/ stopped working. This became my issue and they said that it was used incorrectly. Then one was my washing machine seal around door was torn. Taking clothes in and out of washing machine was miss using the machine. what then is normal wear and tear. whatever they decide is not going to cost them money to fix.”
