I ordered shower doors that were to be delivered last Tuesday, May 28. Delivery showed up as scheduled, but in a wooden crate and was going to be left in the loading dock of my building. I am a 76 year old 105 lb widow. How the hell was I suppose to get that crate to my 6th floor condo and opened? The delivery team from Central Delivery, Home Depots contracted delivery agent said they were simply directed to drop it and go.Not what I was told when I talked to Home Depot customer service. As a result I refused delivery and immediately contacted Home Depot customer service, yet again and was assured it was their mistake and that the delivery instructions had been to deliver to my door. I rescheduled delivery for the following Monday, today and in the interim, I checked back with Home Depot customer service two times to get absolute confirmation that I would receive delivery of these doors uncrated and to my condo door today. I found out this morning that there would not be delivery today. My order had been cancelled. Also while talking with customer service, each time they put me on hold, I had to listen to Home Depot's spiel about" customer safety". Obviously they do not consider the safety of their delivery recipients of any concern. Shame on you Home Depot! Beware of what customer service tells you. Their only concern is to tell you what you want to hear. Not the truth!! Im going to black ball Home Depot. Wayfair will be my go to for my shower doors!

Ordered a washing machine and was told it would be delivered on Sat. between 12:30 and 4:30. Couple hours before received a text saying they had truck problems and couldn’t make the delivery. It also said it would now be out for delivery on Tuesday! Why not Monday? Called and tried to reschedule as I wouldn’t be home that Tuesday. Talked with associate who told us they could bring it Wednesday. Wasn’t happy with this option but decided to go ahead with it. As she put it in she said it would be Thursday! I asked what happened to Wednesday? She said it must have filled up! Personally I feel if an order is canceled one day it should take precedence over newer orders! Ended up canceling the order and was told I’d get a refund in 3-5 days! Funny, they took the money out of my account the day I bought it! Lip service is awesome at Home Depot!!! Delivery service not so great!

I purchased a queen size bedframe with drawer storage after opening the package one of the drawers had a crack I called Home Depot they offered me 15% off or to return it I chose the 15% off continued trying to put it together one of the pieces was missing two pre-drilled holes and then when I finally got it all put together I come to find out that The hardware for the drawer sliders are probably the cheapest sliders you can possibly get because my drawers will not properly align. My advice is to stay away from online purchases and DIY products from Home Depot.

I bought a dryer machine and range. The delivery day was set for Tuesday 5/28. The day before we received an email that the delivery will be rescheduled until Wednesday 5/29. We waited all day and moved all the old stuff out of the way. There was no phone call, no show up, no delivery. The next morning on Thursday we called the hotline to hear that the delivery will be rescheduled again for June 3. What kind of service and delivery system is that? People who have their stuff break down and go buy a new one will expect their things to be delivered on time. Home Depot will never have business from me again.some head quarter need to know about this

Rescheduled a refrigerator install. Home depot associate apparently lied to me and didn't put it in the system. The installers just showed up at my house during my work hours and interrupted a patient virtual office visit. Called Home Depot store, they said there was no change in the system. Been on the phone for 2 hours trying to reschedule. Have to wait a week now for a refrigerator. I have a small child and need a refrigerator. Please do not buy from Home Depot for anything that requires install services - the experience was horrible and still isn't over.

I understand I am not responsible for my husband bill. I needed his permission to talk to rep. I did a three way call to my husband and it was decline by rep! Why? He can verify his DOB & SSN! I don’t understand this rule you have! It was my husband on the phone! Now mind you, the lady was nice about it! Your rule is stupid!!!

Bought a prehung french door, then called to purchase installation. They came out, took measurements and said call us as soon as the doors get here. Called to set up install, they have no work order or anything about our install even though they already an came out for measurements. Now they are not going to come out and install the doors. Because they have no work order. Why have a third party install when there is no communication between them. Now I have to find someone to install....

HD stated delivery company would call 30 min prior. They call 5 min prior and I tell him to wait at door so my 92 yo mother can get dressed and get to the door. They call me back "no one home" I tell them to wait. My mother gets to door and they say we cant get it in unless they take the doors of the NEW refrigerator. So they take the doors off and when my mother said that she needs the doors put on opposite they said no they cant do that. My brother shows up and sees the dent on the side. I call HD and tell them to take it back. My mother still gave those assholes $20. A week later with the refer in the way of a 92 YO, they show up and say we cannot take it because the doors are off. Hopefully you reading this already understands how retarded these people are. My mother does not speak Spanish but was able to explain that the other delivery had to take doors off or it will not fit through house door. They just left ! Call HD and they say they will pick it up next week. WHAT A NIGHTMARE DO NOT EVER ORDER A DELEVERED ITEM FROM HOME DEPOT.

Delivery of dryer was supposed to be on May 30, 2024. WELL, that didn't happen. This is second time around on a delivery from HD. Other one was for a refrigerator. Said no one was home. Don't know where they were at BUT they weren't at my house. Then they said they couldn't find it. DO THEY NOT KNOW HOW TO USE A GPS? AND they could have called, BUT NO, didn't do that either. Probably delivery people so incompetent that they don't know how to use a phone!!!! Needed delivery today as husband was going into hospital next day for surgery. BUT NO, can't turn truck around or even make it the last delivery. SO MANY EXCUSES!!!. AND then the redelivery wouldn't be until 6 days later!! Won't be home BUT do they care? NOOOOO!! So cancelled my order and ordered from LOWES. AND they will deliver Sunday, 3 days later. MY WHAT SERVICE!!!!! I'm telling you, don't think HD will deliver when they're supposed to. They will always find an excuse. CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS!!! They don't try to help you. HD will NEVER get my business again on appliances AND I probably won't go in there for plants or anything else. IT WILL BE LOWES OR AMAZON from now on. Second time around has done me in with HD.

Purchased a washer almost a month ago. Hasn’t worked. Working with GE and Home Depot with no resolution except they are going through the process of repairs which the repair is more than the washer cost by almost 200$ Ordered new rods and a new drum for a brand new washer yet no one knows when they will come or when the repair people can install. Meanwhile I’m stuck with a non working appliance and going to a laundromat. HD credited me 100.00 for my troubles. Well 50 was spent at the laundromat last week and now I’m heading there again :( DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR APPLIANCES . Move along to another source. There are plenty to choose from.

Bought an umbrella stand for my balcony that attaches to the railing and it was windy and my umbrella fell down. I guess it couldn’t hold the umbrella. Very disappointed

"Fool me once, shame on you, fool we twice shame on me" so you got me this time but believe me, I will not spend another dime in any of your stores. Spent over $2k in fencing material and went to return 4 unopened brackets and one unopened set of railing left over from project. Total return would have only been $130. Was told by manager of Exeter PA store tonite that "Our return policy changed in Nov (23) to a "NO return policy"and that this is a HD CORPORATE policy change. When I then asked for District Managers name I was told "We don't know his name".. I spend entirely too much money and work too hard for that money to be bothered with company changes like this for no unnecessary reason. My wallet in my future purchases will state my views. Hope that $130 was worth it to their bottom line later when I take my money elsewhere.

I’m a disabled Veteran , and I use the military discount, I’ve been enrolled for years. Last week I went to use it , but the system wouldn’t let me in , I had to wait until I got home to log in , filled in all the info , however I went to use it on Friday , and it wouldn’t let me access to the discount AGAIN , so I tried relogin , and it wanted me to give ALL my personal info to a third party company ( Sheer ID ) , I believe it was called . Monday I called customer service, and they were so nonchalant about me having to tell a unknown company all my sensitive information , I told them how disappointed I was that they treated Veterans like this , first they went from just having to show a I.D. to having to register to be able access to get a QPR code , and now this . I urge all Veterans , or anyone who cares about Veterans to contact Home Depot , and request that they change their procedures for Veterans to get their discount

I bought in Home Depot a brand new refrigerator with extended warranty,Home Depot Protection Care,I found peeling paint on the front door.I called to Home Depot and after they checked the unit is still under warranty,they refuse to fix the issue with the argument the refrigerator Is in a humid room,my kitchen. This is no true because the temperature inside the house is always 76F 45% humidity,all year.

Delivery never came and they never called me. 2 orders people waiting for work and i have to pay them. But Home Depot doesn’t care about. No order delivery. I am so unhappy because you guys don keep what you guys promise always.

Tried to order custom windows at Tilly Mill store #115. Nobody knew how to work computer to order windows. Asked for manager who was not present. Assistant mgr walked away from me never to return. Went to Lowe’s and spent my money there. $6000 plus. Their loss. Waste of my time. Associates not trained properly.
