Home Depot scheduled a delivery and install for a dryer. They Failed to deliver on original scheduled date. A new delivery was scheduled. Home Deport unilaterally changed the delivery date to an unacceptable date. When trying to reschedule customer service said there was a 30 day limit and we could only cancel the order or accept the unilateral delivery date. So Home Depot screwed up, cost us time and effort, and we have to STILL find and schedule the appliance. I will NEVER order from Home Depot. - they refuse to fix THEIR mistakes. Dryer NOT delivered, order cancelled

I originally purchased a complete set of kitchen cabinets from the Irondequoit store, but they did not have all of the cabinets upon delivery. Therefore, I was advised to accept a refund from the Irondequoit store and repurchase the missing cabinets at the Greece store and that they should honor the previous discounts. The Greece Store customer service vehemently refused to honor the discounts which was over $200. I also called corporate customer service, and they also refused to honor the discounts and when I asked the associate for his name, he hung up on me. These actions do not exemplify great customer service that the founders Arthur Blank and Bernad Marcus made the hallmark of the company. Very Disappointed.

Hello, l’m writing to tell you about my horrible experience with Home Depot! My dryer which was one year old broke a month ago! It was under warranty with Allstate! Allstate played nasty games with us for 2wks about claiming they sent us a gift card through email!! After SEVERAL CALLS and 2 wks later we got it! Then!! The delivery service was backed up a week!! When they showed up they NEVER KNOCKED WE HAVE A DOG!! And hung a sign we NEVER FOUND!! We then had to wait another week to pick up dryer at store! Best part! Our old dryer burned up cause it wasn’t hooked up properly by HOME DEPOT!!😡😡

Home Depot credit cards my advice (Do not apply for it)! Interest rate is high and there store policies is insane. I will never buy anything from Home Depot again. My mother warned me not to apply for Home Depot credit card and I wish I would of listened to her.

I was in the Federal Way store yesterday, 9/24/23, I went to the front desk and ask your store employee Jessica if she could help me find a specific product I was looking for. Jessica was just getting g ready to go On her lunch but said she would be glad to assist me. Needless to say, you was able to find the product I was looking for and also helped me with a couple of other items. She is a great representative of what Home Depot is all about. I gave her 5 stars, But, she definitely deserves 10 Gold Stars 🌟 for her customer service. Thank you Jessica for going Above & Beyond YOU ARE AWESOME!

Horrible customer service from corporate, home Depot does not stand by their products, warning, warning warning, do not purchase any home Depot carpeting that's for sure, one of the worst experiences I ever had. Went and bought the best carpeting the store offers and padding, the two Hispanics that installed it were terrible I told them this is a brand new house we just painted it recently please don't bang the carpeting into the walls they did the complete opposite !!!!! Not only scratched almost every wall in the house installing the carpet they also damaged the wall by stretching the carpeting putting a hole in the bottom of the wall of my closet doorway, they also got glue on three different walls had to come out and remove it home Depot gave me an unreasonable amount to repair the wall 2 years later the carpeting is discolored and worn out in a pathway, keep in mind this carpeting is supposed to be 10 years or better, Walmart said they're denying the claim to do anything about it. With all this being said I will never shop at home Depot ever again I will bring my business to Menards so word of caution stay away from home Depot !!!!!!!!

This is the worst retail establishment I have ever worked with. I purchased a vanity and confirmed three times that the delivery will be to a room of my choice. I specifically chose the product based on that assurance. Two confirmations prior to delivery said that. Day of, received a different email saying it will be dropped outside. Called....Customer service said Nope, we see you purchased for room choice and you will get that. Day of Delivery says NO. Will never purchase from them again.

My new refrigerator was delivered by 2 workers who spoke no English. We worked through that but realized a couple days later the doors were not level. I called the local store and received questions like “are the doors loose and about to fall off?” And “why didn’t you reject the order”. This is a simple leveling of the doors. Putting the problem back on me and asking passive aggressive questions are uncalled for. I advise to go elsewhere.

Ordered a Smoker Grill on Sept 6. On Sept 11 I got a call from the shipping company that it would be delivered on the 12th or 13th. By the 13th it was listed as missing on the shoppers website. Called Home Depot who claimed to have called the shipper, and said it was not missing and that they had until the 19th to deliver my grill. I called again on the 19th because the shipper still showed it as missing, and the HD website said it was "Delayed" The person on the phone finally admitted that yes my grill was missing. The only thing they could do was refund my money and then I could order a new grill from them. I didn't want my money back, I wanted what I paid for and was due to me. Again the person on the phone said the only way they could fix it was to refund my money and I could order it again. Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me. I took the refund and ordered the exact same grill from someone else that could physically verify the thing was in fact in stock. Cancelled all my accounts and subscriptions with HD and will never buy from them again.

PLEASE BE AWARE, if you purchase a gift card that is sealed in the cardboard covering it comes in, it DOES NOT mean that it will not be stolen. Two weeks ago I purchased a gift card and loaded $300 on it for our sons new shop that needed electrical wiring. 8 days after I purchased the card and before I gave it to our son someone in Virginia used it and another gift card to make an online purchase. HOW? The card was totally enclosed in the packaging it came in from the store. Home Depot told me "sorry, nothing we can do but file a police report". Please, give cash or some other form of a monetary gift not a home depot gift card.

EVERYTHING I have done with company has gone South. Please beware of allowing there delivery or installers in your home without ID. If you are alone make sure you have another family member with you. Check and don't sign anything unless you have inspected it. Just one sorry crappy company.

Well If I had read the reviews first I would have never bought an appliance at Home Depot. In fairness, the guy in the store was good. My complaints are about the company Home Depot uses for deliveries. HOME DEPOT--IF YOU ARE SMART YOU WILL GET A NEW DELIVERY SERVICE BEFORE IT MAKES YOU LOSE ALL YOUR BUSINESS! I bought a washer. When the delivery guys got there they made a big deal over not being willing to tie it into my existing connections. First I had to stand there in front of them and disconnect my existing washer and move it out of the way--myself a 68-year-old woman--while two strong men watched! I can see from other reviews they apparently had no intention of setting up the washer. Not only did they tell me they refused to install, but then someone one else called me on the phone and told me again. I got it the first time and still do not appreciate it!!!! They asked if I wanted the washer sent back. Seriously--these people are ruining your business! They even insisted I sign the documentation of receipt and refused to give me a copy. So there I am-having to set up my own washer! After researching and watching a setup video on the internet and a trip to Home Depot to get a skinny wrench I set my washer up and ran a test load of wash--I needed a washer not an old and a new washer sitting in my basement! Washer works fine. Connections work fine. I have always gone to Home Depot but I too am going to Lowes next time.

The Home Depot Delivery Program is a joke! They broke my order into 5 different single deliveries, totally ignored the request for delivery for M-F 7 am-4 pm only, and left $1,000 worth of tools on the street in front of our office after hours. Then when I called they sent my call to text messages and I stayed on the chat for over an hour!!! with no help. Luckily our cleaning staff saw the boxes and brought them in before they were stolen. Then there is no way to track what shipment was split. This delivery is the worst I've ever seen and the online help can't help! do yourself a favor either use Amazon or ship it to the store, because they do not care if they leave it out side and they ignore the delivery instructions completely.

0 stars don't fall for the scam do not buy protection plan from Department store like walmart or Homedepot all will sign you up with allstate/Squre trade I did buy protection plan from home Depot / Allstate for my appliance. ice maker on referigator stopped working. I did call to send someone to fix and they said that to find company by yourself to fix it and send us the reicpts. after the repair done they rrfuse to pay . They need the repair company to call them and verify the company works and license and if they qualified. Most of the local repair company don't deal with insurance because of the time consuming . It is already 5 months and I can't get the money I did cancel the plan Buy the plan from the manufacture company

My husband and I have used Home Depot in Westchester County New York the Mohegan lake store Cortland town Center since we moved here in 2011 and it has been one issue after another. The associates that work in the store for the most part are absolutely wonderful. They are knowledgeable And very helpful, intelligent and respectful but the follow through on products reaching your home is almost always flooded with paint that isn’t mixed tiles that are broken. Service people pay to install that refuse to do the installation for minor reasons or nonsensical reasons so once you place your order , the quality of Home Depot drops dramatically from the in-store experience also in store it will say that there are 14 available in store, but no one can find them and you quickly switch to some other choice and that can’t be found either so often times you don’t go home with what you intended.

Not happy with the 30day policy that I did not understand. In store credit is NOT the same unless the credit can be applied to my Home Depot account. Two reasons: (1)After two tries, I was unable to handle the power drive; (2) Had no one to load the lawnmower in my car and during the 30day period my area had bad(stormy) weather warnings; (3) Was able to return on 31st day thinking it was 30th day. Didn’t notice July had 31days. I had trouble finding someone to help me load the lawnmower in my car. Story manager was confused about the return date as well; he gave me a store credit which I thought I would be able to apply the credit to my store account. I cannot afford to spend $600.00 in store credit and pay for the lawnmower that I no longer have. I simply want my account to be credited for the returned lawnmower. I do not want this store credit.

I looked up boom lift rentals on their website and found one that would meet my job requirements and a price I could afford on my fixed income. During the rental process I was asked if I wanted the insurance protection and said NO! When I returned the unit I noticed that the charge was higher than I had expected and was told that the insurance is mandatory. This added $55 to the rental cost. This is a very poor business practice and should be better disclosed so customers can make informed decisions on rentals. They should just increase the rental cost to include the insurance and not have hidden costs that customers are aware of!
