“There are loads of lovely people selling records in the UK that love music and care about their customers. Neil at Horizon Music is not one of those.. Do yourself a favour and purchase your vinyl from somewhere else. I bought a faulty 12” from Horizon, emailed & called to get it sorted out and never heard back from them. If you read the reviews you’ll see I’m not the only one with this kind of experience.. Avoid at all costs and tell everyone you know to steer clear.”
“If I could give them minus i would. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot these guys defo have no toes left or feet for that matter. All records were "In Stock" I waited over 3 months didnt get a shipped confirmation or a reply from over 5 emails. These cowboys are dishonest and misleading to a huge percentage of their customers.
Like all music websites if you want something thats rare or in demand you gotta be there that day or have pre-order with a confirmation. If these guys are still showing it in stock when everyone else is sold out - its gone!!!
Horizons Music rely on you being gullible and desperate as i bet these are not your first choice in a music supplier. Why ruin your reputation by lying and deceiving your customers? Small business only survive on their reputation and good customer service increases sales and return patrons.”
“Just as the others have said, these guys don't respond to any emails or send your records. They simply ignore you and hope you'll go away. Thankfully I paid with PayPal and will be able to get my money back, but it's still a long and annoying process. Order from Juno or somewhere else that actually cares about their customers.”
“It's unreal that a business offers worldwide shipping but refuses to correspond by email
They do seem to know how to operate a computer, mind you, since they:
- Fill their webshop with hard-to-find titles they don't carry
- Collect money up-front and refuse to refund
- Reply to bad reviews on Trustpilot and solicit 5-star ones every time the bad ones come in
- Update their social media (where they block customers who ask for order assistance)
I've been requesting a cancelation and refund on an order clearly I will never receive (they said it was a pre-order.. but there is no repress announced??) since FEBRUARY, both on Trustpilot and by email. They reply on Trustpilot so I know they're aware... they just choose not to follow through. Out of spite? Just plain fraud? Hard to know but avoid this gong show.”
“I ordered a record before Christmas via Discogs and made an immediate payment via PayPal. Horizons Music never changed the order status from 'payment pending' to 'payment received'. They ignored several of my chaser emails and I had to click on 'seller not responding' before someone got in touch saying "I'll have a look for your record at the weekend".
The trail then went dead again. I had to click on 'seller not responding' more times and each time Horizons would get back with another vague excuse. Strange as the record I bought wasn't even a pre-order - it was advertised as being in stock.
Weeks later I got bored of waiting and filed a PayPal claim. Luckily PayPal refunded me the money.
I left a negative seller review on Discogs and Horizons had the nerve to leave a negative buyer review!! Unbelievable! I raised this with Discogs and they obviously removed it. Also, I received a phone call from a very aggressive sounding employee asking me "do you think negative reviews are helpful...DO YOU?". Customer service, huh! How rude. If you read this Horizons: I would suggest that you spend more time packing records which you supposedly 'stock' than a going after dissatisfied customers.
Avoid this company like the plague!”
“Placed an order nearly a year ago, still waiting for my records 11 months later. After two months of waiting I managed to get in touch after some chasing and was told they were waiting for a reprint of one of the six records I ordered. Nine months later and I still have no goods and the company are ignoring emails, not answering the phone, and have blocked me on social media. Lots of terrible reviews for this business online - I strongly recommend any vinyl buyers avoid them.”
