cancelled web order within 30 mins but reserved payment on my credit card account took 7 working days to disappear!

Poor quality items for the price. Found the pace of delivery and refund process slow and not on a par with retailers in general. Would not use again.

This is a terrible company. Not only did they confirm my shoes were in stock but they even told me after two weeks with no arrival of the shoes, that indeed the shoes were on their way. The following day I received an email to say the shoes were not available. It is no way to treat a customer and had I known the shoes actually were NOT there for me I could have chosen an alternative pair. They did nothing to make me interested in future purchases. It is totally unacceptable to treat your customers this way. I have seem similar shoes which I ordered and they could have suggested an alternative after my complaint but no such thing.

Why has the wonderful Dizzy style been discontinued? I am told by all the stores I visit that is was the most popular style & they all still get many requests for it. It was comfy as well as being stylish and I have personally recommended this shoe to hundreds of people around the world. BUT towards the end of 2015 & all of 2015, the button on 3 of my pairs fell off & instead of being just cosmetic, they held the strap on - so I now have 3 barely-worn pairs that are unusable. I've contacted Customer Services many times as I wouldn't trust my beloved Dizzies to any ordinary cobbler, but Hotter won't repair them or replace them. There has definitely been a quality control failure at Hotter during that period. The beauty of these shoes were that they were elegant, but most importantly, were not full off cut-out shapes that are not ideal for our rainy British weather. How can Hotter offer Shake in winter with all its cut-out heels - and the Velcro on its strap was hopeless in less than a year. The staff in their shops, say HQs don't appreciate feedback from them even though they keep asking for Dizzy to be resurrected due to customer demand. Working with feet, I recommended Dizzy to all my clients so Hotter has lost a lot of sales. And I agree with many comments, their Customer Service team are hopeless - no initiative. I do feel Hotter have lost the plot & many previously-loyal customers. Less leather, more fabric & much higher prices!

Bought a pair of leather boots at their sale on 26 November 2015. I was cleaning the soles today (5 Aug 2016) and saw that both have a deep split right across the sole! I see that many other reviewers have had the same problem. I will never buy from them again.

I ordered (and paid for) two pairs of Hotter shoes from their website. These were not delivered to me and the tracking information I was given was completely untrue. Despite the fact that the carrier returned the shoes to Hotter without them ever having reached me, Hotter have been completely incompetent in rersolving the situation. Their "excellent customer service" (which they trumpet on their website) was seriously lacking with disinterested call centre staff giving no explanation of what had gone wrong and, making no effort to effect a refund. Trying to get through to Hotter by telephone is a nightmare as they obviously do not employ sufficient numbers of staff to answer the phones. I shall not be using Hotter again. What a let down!

4th pair disintegrated soles. Have just put my 4th pair, out of 9 pairs, of Hotter shoes into the bin because the box like composition of the soles have split and disintegrated with only very light wear. Very disappointed in Hotter as they were previously not interested in the complaint, despite sending the shoes back for their comments.

My 93 year old aunt was helped extremely well by Dawn at the Hotter shop in Solihull. Dawn was not patronising or confusing. It took about 45 minutes to find a pair of Hotter shoes that were not painful and would help my aunt walk in comfort. Please thank Dawn for her patience and expertise. 100 / 100

The shoes are very comfortable. However. Every single pair I have bought have only lasted a few months before the soles split. Given up with Hotter!

The soles of my hardly worn Hotter Shoes disintegrated as I walked. Very bad experience.

Customer service poor.Ordered sandals online which were available,only to be sent an email next day to say out of stock.Was told they would be available a week later if I wanted to wait.I decided to wait and two weeks later I phoned customer service to find out where my order was. I was then told they would not be getting any more in. If I hadn't phoned up I would still be waiting-not good enough.

Hotter shoes may be ok if your feet are cold, but all that padding (they say needed for the "comfort"element), ensures your feet are on fire! Really not suitable for every day shoes in my opinion. Perhaps ok if your heating at home breaks down and you need heat. Dreadful experience.

To quote from your website "EVERY pair of Hotter shoes that leaves our UK factory is backed by our 100% guarantee." This is not true. I bought my sandals from an independent retailer and although they rub open sores on my feet you will not honour the guarantee. What you have written about the 100% guarantee is misleading. It should read "Only shoes purchased direct from Hotter are eligible for our guarantee." Are you going to change it or continue to lie and mislead.

Shoes sole and heal totally disintegrated when e mailed complaint they were not interested at all,will definitely not buy hotter as gain very very inferior quality

2012 pair is shoes hardly worn sole is split will never buy a pair of your shoes again Went into Merryhill store to be told could do nothing customer service none exist

After battling with the internet to place an order, rand the customer service line and a very nice lady in Liverpool did the order for me WELL DONE THANK YOU YOU WERE BRILLIANT. Arranged to have them delivered to store in Llandudno and was assured there would be plenty of time for them to get there, as I was going to be there the following week. Ordered Wednesday 1 June. On arrival in Llandudno Tuesday 7th June, they weren't there. Went again on our last day Friday 10 June, not there. The really helpful lady in the shop checked her computer and said the order hadn't even left the warehouse yet? So in 10 days you weren't even able to pick pack and despatch something to your own store. Unbelievable. The ladies in the Llandudno shop were excellent,they sourced replacements for me in the shop and I was very pleased with their actions. You back room ordering and warehousing procedures must be in a terrible state. You shouldnt offer a serivice that you cannot provide. Love your shoes, your staff are brilliant, you processes and timing are not good enough in todays e shopping environment, Its too exhausting to use you.

After using Hotter online for years, I have to report my disgust that they took money from my account on 23 May and on 4 June, I have yet to receive my shoes! I have tried phoning and waited on a line for 10 minutes listening to stupid music and have emailed them twice to no avail. I won't be buying from Hotter again!
