They use every excuse they can to not give you access to your money I have been trying for 4 months to change two signatories and get online access to an existing business account, incompetent does not even come close. Do not expect ever to see a manager they are permanently, conveniently always in meetings. An the cashier staff lie through their teeth saying the other colleague you saw must have given you the wrong information. The latest reason I can not access online banking is someone deleted me as a primary user then put me back on so the process has to start again. Never give this bank your money or your trust. I am a volunteer Treasurer I do not even get paid for putting up with this grief but they do not care. They do not care that we have over due bills and could be facing court action. They do not care that the sheer frustration of trying to get this account up and running as had me in tears on more than one occaision. HSBC Heartless, Selfish, Beyond Caring Bank. Avoid it at all costs.

Their advertising always seems to be disturbingly political in nature? They should stick to banking and not try to influence cultural values, it’s made me question several times if I actually want to remain with them. Performative ESG rankings are too insidious in their effects on company behaviour. As a local bank they are good, as a global company they are disappointingly corrupt

my OTP phone number was incorrect. I'm on my 10th phone call and still not sorted. Have spoken to about 15 different people. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS BANK.

Stay clear from HSBC business banking. Their security practises are flawed. I went to report a fraudulant transaction, they couldnt tell me what the transaction was and had to pass me to another team. I had allready passed telephone security at this point. During the transfer i had an automated response asking me to put in my security code??? Which i did, unsuccessfuly. My account is now locked and the team i was passed onto, say they are unable to help with this Fraud case i raised until my account is unlocked by customer services, which wont be until monday!!!! Lets hope there are not any more transactions coming in over the weekend! HSBC are a complete joke. Stay well clear.

Jannett from the Aston Branch deserves my 5 stars. Good attitude and good energy. Smaller branches have a lot better customer service. The other day, I went to the manchester city center branch. The lady in the front wanted us to leave as soon as possible.

Awful customer service. When I called to say I'd misplaced my card they asked me security questions that were difficult to answer such as what was the 9th digit on my card and what I had spent £8.90 on 3 days previous. When I tried to guess these they then said I'd failed and froze my account. My daughter then found the card whilst I was on the phone to them so I told them not to worry the cards been found. Three days later when I tried to make a payment my card wasn't working so called again. They were very unhelpful and almost rude. I offered to email a copy of my driving licence and give other details to verify who I was to which I was told they can't access emails! Asked then to speak to a manager and 1 week later I'm still waiting for a call and my account is still frozen. Very frustrating I've now not had access to my account for 2 weeks. I will never bank with them again.

Hsbc treats customer really unfairly. Their customer service is poor and complaint department will make you cry. Stay away

The worst bank ever !!!In banking history I am currently chatting with customer care about an issue Ai have called to have rectified several times but it’s still not done .. Yet they keep asking if there is anything they can help with ..what I am asking to you to rectify you can’t get right ??how can I trust you to help with more ?? It’s not astral physics guys ..help them customer with their actual problem then ask for more ..sheesh

New account - won't accept my username - MOBA sends me to 'forgotten username' link but after entering details next page then says 'system error'. Going back to MOBA just goes around in circles if you try to explain. Help and support just goes to MOBA - how do I speak to a human? Surely by closing most of the branches in Cornwall (and the UK I presume) the cost saving could pay to have 24 hour manned help service.

I was an HSBC customer for 7 years, never had any perks of sorts; I decided to leave the bank and close my account. Unfortunately I received two refunds to my old account, and the money.. seems to have disappeared into thin air! The retailers swear they don't have it, HSBC refuses to provide proof that they bounced it back.

the worse bank I have ever used… This the worse bank I have ever used ,they closed my account I lost everything,when asked them why did they closed my account, I was directed to email somewhere I did all that,they responded by saying send copies of your documents and proof of address to us,I did all that, From there, they failed to tell me why or any valid reason for doing that, beware, don't use them ,you might lose your money , total scammers

opened an account, can not get the telephone number or internet number. Have spent months calling the service centre which appears to be india and they just ask a lot of questions but have not as yet sent a telephone security number or bank security number. Would be easier to become a roicket scientist than get a working internet account.

HSBC USE customer support is completely useless. I have transferred some amount in the local bank on 29th April Still 9th of May money is not received by the beneficiary bank. Raised a complaint on 9th May. Today is 12 th still no update from the bank. The customer support team provides the same response "under process". Recommend to avoid HSBC and switching to some other bank. I am switching too.

Worst bank ever. I transfered money locally, got debited. The beneficiary did not receive the amount after 8 days. Then i called and they asked me to wait again 2 to 3 working days. Switching to DIB

I'm an HSBC Premier customer . The customer service even for this type of account is awful , it takes ages to answer calls , unable to perform simple tasks and everything is so slow.

02nd May 2022. Attn: The Manager, HSBC Complaints International I'm a HSBC Credit card holder from Year 2001. My card's issued by HSBC Srilanka. Past 21 years I have done plenty of transactions through my card. I have fully utilized my card limit and I have paid minimum amount and financial charges without failure. I think around three times, I didn't make the payments on time and afterwards done payments for lateness charges and financial charges. Some time I exceeded my limit, that relevant charge also I had done. Frequently I'm receiving calls from your recovery department when my limit's exceed or before the due date. After I had done the payments through the machine, several time I have tried to speak to the relevant agent (recovery) , the person who receives the call always take my mob no.. and not transferring to the relevant agent. After done the payment through CDMA machine, Next couple of days again and again I receiving call from recovery department while I'm @ work. when I try to dial unable to speak to the agent, the same scenario. I'm a marketer and sorry to say I have never experienced these kind of ridiculous service from any organisation in Srilanka or any Gulf country. Meanwhile I'm using a local bank card also, their customer service's excellent. Within few minutes I can reach the agent and get the feed back. But HSBC Srilanka very difficult to contact a customer service agent. Local banks provides 24*7 customer service. But HSBC limited their customer service At last I cancelled my credit card. Its a real shame an International banking chain providing these kind of worst service to the customers and I spoked to a Manager named Krishan Fernando and he never call me back. If you compare with other local banks HSBC employees perks are very high but the service wise their very poor.
