I ordered pizza for 10.48 pounds, they used my card for someone else and I paid lunch for "someone" 16.8 plus . That means they can use my card for anyone without control! Anyway, I paid one pizza 10.48+16.8 pounds. Deliveroo refuse refund.

Absolutely rubbish…. Flat cold burgers, no refund 1 hour 15 mins from collection to delivery and then expected them to be warm! No freezing cold! Terrible customer service- no refund!

Huge delay in delivering food because the drivers pick orders and set out to deliver to multiple locations far away from each other. As a result if you are unlucky not to be first then you get cold food. This is not an issue with the restaurants but with Deliveroo and their drivers. Plus there is no way to chat to someone in the meantime. You are just stuck with the cold food.

I wish there was a zero star option for this. PLEASE do not use this app, they do not come to your door EVER! Most of the time I have to go out and find them, one time a driver's excuse was he is afraid of flats ? We are paying a delivery fee! But this recent event takes it to a whole different level! The usual happened and my dad went to find him, my dad didn't realise it had been paid so he paid again so I basically paid nearly 40 euro for 2 burgers and 1 portion of chips and a drink that I didn't even get or refunded. The so called 'customer care" is more customer don't bother because they do not help at all. I called straight away asked them about the missing drink and the missing 20 euro and their response was it's my fault because they don't take cash? Emm hello your driver broke that rule and took money! When I pointed this contradiction out to them their excuse than was we only give refund if it was your first order? I sent a letter to their head office but nobody would sign for it and their phone number is disconnected. Something very dogy and maybe even dangerous about this app. Happy to provide anyone with proof you wouldn't believe the stupidness that comes out of them to avoid having to refund. Should be shut down

Deliveroo have recently taken to excessive greed and are doubling up on their orders. So once your food is picked up, they will be delivering elsewhere 1st, meaning that 90% of the time, your food will arrive stone cold and ruined. Their customer service will then tell you that you are not eligible for a discount, but provide you with NO further information, even when directly requested. Just Eat and Uber eats provide a much better level of service, both from a delivery, and also customer service point of view. Charlatans of the very highest order!! Avoid!! Selection is better on just eat and Uber eats anyway!! If you want to eat hot food, order from literally ANYWHERE else. This is from a customer that stupidly actually paid for deliveroo plus, it is very much cancelled now!!

Nope!! don’t even order! don’t even think about it. Such terrible service. Ordered some food and didn’t receive it. They claimed they called… nope! no phone call. The driver sat in a culdesac for about 5 minutes ignoring my instructions to where my house was and then drove off. Tried contacting the driver.. nothing. Spoke to customer service they said they couldn’t approve a refund, in which i demanded was totally unfair, which in the end they said they would give a refund. Waited a few days… NOTHING. No refund! chatted with them today, disgusting and appalling customer service, absolutely disgusting. They were rude, kept ending the chats and threatened to ban my account ( this was a manager!) because i was asking why i wasn’t eligible for a refund after everything that had happened. DO NOT order from here, don’t even try it! appalling company.

1 star is too many for this lot of con artists. They must spend millions on TV adverts and spamming leaflet letter box offers looking for new mugs to hand over their money to them. Unfortunately I was one of those who fell victim to their letterbox mailing and wasted my time signing up to order a local Pizza on Tuesday 20th around 5.30. When it got to 8PM I had to call them only to be told the restaurant had delivered it. That was simply not true, I even had a car detailer all evening on my driveway doing my car who some no one! Anyway you would think that would be the end of the matter, an apology and a refund but no. They are disputing my story, insisting it was delivered (they have the correct address - have checked) and even claiming the delivery driver tried to call me! So now I am left trying to get my bank to refund me or issue a claim in the small claims court. Jeez. PLEASE AVOID THIS BUNCH OF MONKIES AT ALL COSTS !!!

Bad delivery experience! Ordered the same order twice , in the first time it was delivered to the wrong place without calling for confirmation , in the second time is was delivered damaged and spilled.

Hi, I’ve ordered some Japanese food with deliveroo. The app is really well done and the restaurants selection very good. Unfortunately is the second time the delivery service is really bad. The guy send me a message “I will wait only other 2 minutes”. I called him immediately asking what was going on. He told me “I will wait 2 minutes for the pick up because I don’t want to park my motorbike”. I run outside and he was seat on his motorbike at 200 meters from my building. I told him there is a park in front of the building and he was not interested. I took my food and at home I opened the bag. The food was completely a mess. I spoke with the customer service and they literally ignore me. Orribile service and orribile customer service. Really bad company

A driver banged my door down inappropriately! I complained, gave an accurate description and was advised he didn't matched their records and was probably not logged in! Really? How do they get allocated jobs and paid then??? Plus, he took personal ID details down. What about public data protection?? This is a joke. Next time I will personally deal with issues like this myself as Deliveroo take no responsibility for their divers misconduct.

They deliver to wrong address and refuse to help. Their agent believes that they made a call to me and it connected (while my phone was out of power). And the best part was that the agent closed the live chat window by himself before I even reply. Moron service, bye bye Delayveroo

Ordered and payed for KFC driver finally phoned me asking for postcode, (I already face full address in order) he then said in broken English that he would no drive 2 miles as he does not get payed for it. My 8 year old went without dinner scum company that should be investigated

It’s not a delivery service it’s a joke. You place an order, gives you a timeframe for delivery. And then the expected delivery time gets updated and it’ll be 5 more minutes. Oh no wait another update it’s gonna be 10 minutes late now. Oh well, you think, let’s just wait maybe the restaurant is busy. Except the time keeps getting pushed and the 10 minutes have now become over an hour and a half later. And you know the best part? the food was ready and they just didn’t have drivers in the area. So why the heck do you accept the order in the first place and why don’t you just say immediately ‘sorry we can’t deliver’ and give a chance to people to cancel their orders and go for another option instead of just adding 5 minutes at a time to your expected delivery time??????? Customer service will then give you some £ as credit on your account, very useful since will not be using their so called “service” again.

Don’t use Deliveroo, chances are they will just leave your food on someone else’s door step and not even knock. Awful service and inflated prices. Go straight to the restaurant, it costs let and you will actually get your order.

I placed an order with Deliveroo yesterday. The rider called and said that he could not locate me despite a contact address with clear postal code were provided. Finally the food did not reach me. I then contacted Deliveroo customer service who explained that the rider did attempt to deliver the food but failed. Therefore a refund could not be made. This decision is totally ridiculous ! I did provide a correct address and hardly understand why the food couldn't be delivered ! This is the worst order experience I have ever come across! Never order with Deliveroo again!

Food is always cold! They have too many deliveries to do in one run. Very disappointed. It’s always the same with every delivery and orders from different restaurants!
